We have been ordering from Aceituno's for years, but after this latest experience we won't be back. I ordered directly through the website, not trusting the delivery services. I ordered at 5:10, for delivery at 6pm--we live a mile and a half away, so that should have been fine. I was texted a delivery tracking link through ChowNow, which forced me to install a new app to use, and the text said food would be "delivered today around 5:48pm". At 6:10 I noticed that the order was still showing just "Order Accepted", not being prepared or ready for pickup or on the way, so I called. The person who answered said that my order had been picked up at 5:30 by DoorDash (because apparently ChowNow subcontracts to them, but I never got a DoorDash link?) and that once it's picked up they have no control over anything and it's up to the delivery service to make sure it arrives. He didn't even seem concerned that my food had been in limbo for 45 minutes. Since my food was missing and nobody knew where it was, I requested a refund. He said he had to talk to the manager. I asked to speak to the manager, but he said the manager wasn't there. He said he'd call her and ask her to call me. The food, lukewarm, arrived at 6:30: a half hour after I'd requested, 45 minutes after I was told it would arrive, and a full hour after it was picked up from the restaurant. We had given up on it and were about to order from somewhere else by that point. My crispy tacos were tough and oily, the meat was cold and the lettuce was soggy and the whole thing was very unappetizing. The manager never called. The next day (today), I called again, in the early afternoon. I asked to speak to the manager. They told me the manager wasn't there. I told them the story in brief, they said they would ask the owner to call me. I asked, as kindly as I could, if he could make sure to tell the owner that I'd been waiting all night the day before for the manager to call, and I hoped I could finally talk to someone about the issue. The owner has not called. We won't be ordering from Aceituno's again. I'm really disappointed in the restaurant, in their choice of delivery services, in their lack of customer service, and their total lack of follow through. read more

I like going back to places in which I gave a sub par review. Today, I ordered chicken torta and it was delicious. The bread was toasted well, there was a layer of beans and salsa, and the chicken was very flavorful. If I could compare the torta and the burrito it would completely opposites. The burrito tasted like it had no flavor. From the beans and chicken, to the salsa. I've eaten here many times and the torta was as delicious as other competitors such as Chuki's and Carmelo's. I'm giving 5 stars. The restaurant is always super clean and service is always great. read more

The food as great, but the pricing is bait and switch. Like the photo in this listing, under BURRITOS, it says that it includes your choice of pinto or refried beans. But for fish tacos, surprise! It's $2 extra for the beans. Really? I'm fine if they want to charge $2 extra for the beans, but please don't mislead your customers about it. read more

Excellent food, excellent staff, taco Tuesdays are the best, great deal. Generally take food to go but restaurant is clean and well lit. Tried to tip but were told they are unable to accept tips, hence no tip jar. read more

We love the food from Aceituno's and the staff always are professional and gracious to us. This location has become our go-to spot for our burrito fix in the Lake City area and we're here at least a couple times each month. We find the food to be consistent and always great. It's not fast food. It's good, fresh food made quickly. Rarely we have a bit of wait but totally worth it. The refried beans are so smooth and wonderful. We have almost the same order every time and have never been disappointed. Word to the wise: when dining Roman style (i.e.: in bed) the adobada burrito can get a little messy. read more

My cheese tamales. It's surprising a cook would send out an order like this. I used to come by for Taco Tuesday and the food was great. Since then I've ordered a quesadilla the cheese wasn't melted, corn tortillas were raw on the taco's and the churros were dark brown and over cooked and crispy. What happened when a cook send out orders like this? The one star is for the employees at the window. They're always polite. read more

I don't recommend eating here if you have dietary restrictions or allergies. They gave me a steak burrito when I can't eat steak and didn't order steak. Refused to give me a refund or replacement. read more

We ordered the chimichanga plate, Carne asada plate and a fish burrito. The customer service was fantastic and the portion size is very generous so that's where the two stars came in. When it comes to the food itself...where to start: not exciting and dull. Even the rice and beans don't have much flavor. Chimichanga is supposed to be deep fried but the one I got barely got a seared. There was more dough than meat. Carne asada didn't taste fresh but I'm not surprised because the time when I order via drive through to when the food is ready was within 90 seconds so I could only assume that all the meat was precooked. Lastly, the fish burrito had the most potential but the fish was slightly under. read more

Solid Mexican fast food. The chicken is great- avoid the carne asada but the rest is worth the time

I just left. I ordered 5 tacos. 4 carnitas, 1 fish. My order is missing a fish. Ordered a large salsa. Got a measly salsa (the size that comes with the half order). I am livid and will be letting everyone know about this. There were 10 tacos in the entire order (mine + bfs) and we got 1 hot sauce for our tacos. read more

Consistently friendly service and yummy take out Mexican food. Once when we were eating inside, I observed an employee realizing they had mixed up a take out order, then running out to the person to catch them and fix their order. We will keep coming back! read more

Was so excited when I saw this place going in but it's way overpriced and terrible. As in, I could eat half of it it was so bad. Carne Asada fries were soggy and inedible. Tried the lengua torta barely any meat in it and was mostly mayo and lettuce, super gross. Portions were small too. I can't see how this place can survive unless they make big changes. read more

Underwhelmed. Really wanted to have another good restaurant in Lake City, but alas this is not it. Uninteresting tastes, bland, but large portions. They have a good opportunity to up their game, but it's tough when Chipotle down the street crushes them on taste. Hopefully they take the opportunity to make significant improvements. read more

TRASHFOOD!!! Slopped together, missing ingredients, no beans- $14 after tax nachos with no meat and it was a tray of cold chips with a little of cold cheese SPRINKLED ON TOP! Trash. Don't waste your time or money- Taco Bell is sadly a much more amazing place. Nachos were soggy from the cold salsa and guacamole dumped on it- and I stayed 2 minutes away. It's really disgusting what they served. By the time I drove from ordering window to pickup window everything was done and in a bag- there was no one in line before I came or when I returned the slop. Why the rush? Why slop it together unheated and obviously in a trashy fashion? read more

Great burritos!! Reminds me of living in San Diego. I wish they opened earlier so I can get my breakfast burrito.

Like many locals to the Lake City area, we were eagerly awaiting the Grand Opening of Aceitunos! And now... the day has arrived, and they did not disappoint!! The outside was clean, the menu was easy to read, and the interior looked nice, too. We just ordered at the drive-thru and took it home. We ordered a variety of soft and crispy tacos. The portions were perfect, and the crispy tacos reminded me of the crispy tacos I used to get as a child back home in Cali. The staff was friendly and the service was quick- especially for opening night. We will definitely be back again to try other items on the menu! read more

Super excited about this addition to the neighborhood. I have only been here once so far, but will definitely be back. This place is pretty good, it is a more authentic taco shop so I felt it necessary to start with some basics: Tacos - on corn tortillas, not crunchy (Spicy Pork or Adobada, Asada & Carnitas), Mulitas (Asada) and beans. The food is very fresh, flavor is great, the meats are cooked well & not dry and the prices are awesome. Note on pricing: please keep in mind inflation/costs on everything right now, so it might seem a little more spendy than your used to, but that's gonna be everywhere (we spent $22 for 6 tacos and 2 mulitas) and bonus- Taco Tuesday deals where tacos are $1.50! There is indoor seating and a drive-thru, when we went on a Sunday afternoon the service was super quick, in & out within 5 mins. read more

I ordered AND PAID FOR SIX Crispy Tacos and only received FOUR. I didn't notice until I returned home. I love the food and the service, but y'all shorted me on me and my kid's dinner. Not cool. $3.00 isn't a huge deal, but you should make sure the food you send out is ALL THERE. I will be checking next time too. read more

We decided to try this place after driving by it numerous times. My advice is keep on driving! We ordered some asada and carnitas soft tacos which were underwhelming. My carnitas tacos were tasteless other than the raw onions and cilantro. The asada tacos were tough and seasoned with taco seasoning. The salsa they had no flavor either. We ate in the restaurant which was clean but reeked of strong cleaning solution. I would have rather gone to Taco Bell down the street over this place. Not authentic Mexican food, would not recommend. read more

Don't know when they hired these younger people but I have never waited in line at this place in the drive threw this long ever at any aceitunos an I have been to every single one in the washington area. an the california burrito I waited that long for was the worst one i've had to had absolutely no seasoning on it, never coming here again ! read more

Always great. Easily our go-to drive through. Breakfast is solid and so many choices across the menu. Fast service too.

I have been looking for a decent plain ol street taco near my neighborhood for a minute and these are consistently solid w great service. Wonderful value for money. read more

I went to this place when it initially opened and spent way too much money on some of the worst version of Mexican food. I got the Carne Asada plate - close to like 20 bucks. The asada had no flavor and was chewy, the rice was clearly not prepared correctly-like it was not fried prior to adding the water. Just not worth the money. read more

Update: after several trips, this place is incredibly hit or miss- they have a couple of items that are good, the rest is garbage. I want a refund for this slop which is a so called quesadilla. It's super wet, not hot, soggy mush. Can't even hold it up. Ended up dumping it and I hate wasting food. read more

I was looking forward to their opening as an alternative to other nearby establishments that have proven to be disappointing. The #9 Chimichanga combo was my choice and while large in appearance, it was mainly refried beans and rice with a tortilla wrap filled with only lengua. Virtually impossible to saw through with a serrated knife and tough meat as well. It would appear their preparation is geared towards a clientele that is not desirous of enjoying an ethnic meal. Ordinarily our family loves Mexican food and have rarely been so disappointed. We wish them good luck, but it is doubtful that anyone else would have come away pleased with this dismal meal. read more

Solid and quick service, and friendly! Ordered to-go fro Lake City and the order was correct and read to go.

So we've been here 3 separate times, and each time has been fantastic. We've gotten the California Burrito, crisp tacos, rolled tacos, and breakfast burritos. They were all awesome, reminded me of places in California. Not sure why some of the other reviews are all over the place. Just probably new and working through the kinks. We'll be back! read more

The food here is very fresh and they have some thing called the taco box.... it comes with 20 tacos and a side of beans and rice and chips and salsa. It's enough to feed at least five people. My favorite item to get there is the fish tacos. My husband really likes the bean and cheese burritos. They don't skimp when it comes to those! The inside of the restaurant is small, but very clean and usually empty. You might try them on a Tuesday when tacos are only about $1.50 each. read more

Wanted so much to like this place. Burrito had way too many raw onions and way too little chicken. The fajitas were mostly rice and beans, some chopped beef and a few grilled onions and peppers. The chicken enchiladas were ok but when I ordered them a second time less chicken and the tortillas unraveled. Hope it gets better. Do they realize Chipotle is two blocks away? read more

Disappointed by them closing while I was waiting to order and the guy at the drive thru window just waving...

I was very excited about this new Mexican food restaurant. Not many around Lake city so i was pumped to try. We went for dinner and we grabbed carne asada Nachos . 3 tacos lengua. Asada and alpastor. Side rice and beans and my total was $35. Something kinda expensive but oh well we were excited. Disappointed all tacos were all dull. No flavor asada was hard and with lots of fat pieces of fat Lengua just tasted boiled no flavor at all!!! My nachos same bunch of tortillas I couldn't find my beans or sour cream. Asada was just very hard and dull no taste whatsoever. Beans were fine and rice was hard If yall need to some real Mexican Food, I recommend Tacos Las Delicias en Seattle best tacos ever little far but is worth the drive!!!!! My co worker reccommended this place, there was a lot of food, but next time I'll definitely add extras.

Mediocre food at best. The attitude is poor. I'm done with this poor excuse for Mexican food. You don't realize how many other Mexican restaurants are nearby. You gain customers one at a time...and you lose them one at a time. read more

I've now come here three times in the past few weeks for lunch, and my experiences all ranged from pretty good to great. I've tried the California Burrito and the super fries, as well as their street and crunchy tacos. The carne asada can be a bit dry, but the flavors are all good, and the service is fast. dog food to go but the girl in the drive thru was an angel why so much fat and gristle in the meat!

I wanted so badly to like it! I was waiting for this place! I got the Seahawks breakfast burrito and it was mostly potatoes and eggs and a little tiny bit of bacon. No flavor dry. I added the hot salsa. That was the only good part. read more

Good basic Mexican food. Always quick and never had a problem with an order. Great chile relleno!

This is one of the sadder reviews I've had to write. Because I love Mexican food. Specifically I love the San Diego style of Mexican food that is otherwise only found in Seattle at Alibertos, and even there the food is only 65% of the quality found in SD. So when this place opened, a mere three minutes from my house, I was beyond excited. If this place turned out to be legit, it would increase my quality of life here in Seattle by 200%. Alas, this place is not good. Service is great, nothing wrong there. But the food is bland. The carne asada burrito, the measuring stick for all Mexican fast food, was near flavorless. In fact, it was kinda bizarre, with raw onions being the dominant flavor/filling. And I'm not one of those purists who can't accept rice in my carne asada burrito, but if it's going to be in there, it better add something. Instead, here it's just tasteless filler. No joke, the burrito at Chipotle down the street has more flavor. God did I just say that? And now I'm even sadder. read more
