Came to check this spot out for restaurant week this week on the $35 price scale and was quite satisfied. The appetizers were awesome, the crab really came through on the mozzarella stick and the chicken wontons came with this incredible Khao Soi Curry (peanut/curry type sauce) that we ended up keeping and pouring on our clay pot fried rice later on. As for the entrees, we got the Crispy Colorado Striped Bass & the Clay Pot Fried Rice. The clay pot fried rice was mildly seasoned with chopped pork belly, shrimp and a poached egg. IMO the egg was over poached, the rice was still too lightly seasoned and the pork belly didn't come through super well as it was chopped and I was kind of expecting wide slices of pork belly. The redeeming factor was the Khao Soi Curry sauce on the rice and how crispy the sides of the rice was from being cooked in the clay pot. The striped bass and broccolini was super good though and all was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I would get that item next time as opposed to the fried rice. Moving on to dessert, the deconstructed presentation of this cheesecake was nice to see and when everything was paired into one singular bite, the combination of flavors of sweet and savory were perfectly united. They have happy hour everyday from 4-6pm, Martini Tuesdays ($9 each), and Whiskey/Wing Wednesdays ($6 each), definitely will come back here to check out there wings and other food items. I had a reservation and came here with a group of 7. I made the reservation here because I was expecting a fun vibe, not necessarily because of the food. However, the food was surprisingly delicious! I was so pleased that there was an entire vegetarian section (as well as an entire gluten free section) of the menu. The portions were large and delicious. It has been on our "try" list for a while. Clearly we didn't know what we were missing. She definitely made our experience. We were a group of 4 and it was all our first time dining a Ace Eat Serve. When we ordered our dishes she came out with the chili pickled cucumbers and told us it was on here since this was a popular item we didn't order and she felt like we had to try them. She knew what she was talking about. She did the same thing with dessert. The Hot N Cold was our favorite dessert and was the one she brought out on the house. We've been here a couple of times, and both visits have been great! We always end up seated at the bar, which honestly is a great way to dine here. The bartenders do a great job of handling drinks and food orders. We've had the Pork Belly "Banh Mi" Bao, Shrimp Shu Mai, Tuna Tartare "Spring Roll," kaarage chicken, and the khao soi noodles. Every single bite was delicious, and the chicken and the noodles are a substantial portion. Don't forget to top things off with the house-made chili sauce. They also always have fun, seasonal drinks, which have never been a disappointment. When they do their Christmas pop-up, I highly recommend popping in. Went here Jan 2025 to experience the Cozy Cabin for the holidays they had set up. Was able to get a table for our party of seven for some happy hour pricing. We got a variety of drinks - love love love their Gold Rush cocktails, esp for $6! On happy hour, we got the karaage (pretty bland and dry, the sauce was a savior) and the pickled cucumbers. We also got orders of the tiger and lucky dragon wings - the tiger wings are honestly one of my favorite wings I've had. For entrees, this is where it became lackluster. We got shrimp fried rice and lo mein - the fried rice was pretty unflavorful. The lo mein was tasty but the beef was a little over. This review is *only* for the Peking duck experience - which I would highly recommend! Very reminiscent of our time in Beijing. Note that you have to pre-order and pay ahead and they are only offer a few, on select days. We went on a Sunday at 4pm and it was very quiet in the dining area. A few folx at the bar and some in the ping pong room. I can see this being a great hangout spot, especially in the warmer months with that great outdoor space. Our server was lovely - friendly, attentive and always looking out for us. Before getting our duck we ordered a Thai Iced Tea and a booze free version of their Peppermint Chalet. Quite tasty. We also started off with their edamame and kimchi - both of which hit the spot. The duck was carved table side and had all the expected fix-ins. Great flavor, portions I was happy with and fairly priced. My only recommendation would be to have the skin be a bit crispier. We opted for the next day ramen kit which was unique, clever and good value. I would absolutely do this experience again. I could see it being very fun with a larger group. Zero Proof Review: I'm on a quest to check out all the zero proof, mocktail and n/a beverages that Denver and beyond has to offer. Obsessed with the spot! I dream about the Lucky Dragon Wings. On our last visit, we decided to try out their brunch. Having only visited for a late night bite previously, I am happy to report that their menu hits just as hard during the early afternoon. I will say, this spot is NOT dog-friendly. It's not explicit and being in Denver having a patio typically affords dog lovers the opportunity to bring their furry friend, but they realllllyyyy don't prefer you to bring animals so be mindful when planning your next visit. This place is genius! I love that they have ping-pong and beer pong! The food is really good. I highly recommend the entrées. The wings were OK. They were a good size. I do not recommend the tuna tartare spring rolls. They really need a sauce in my opinion. The bao buns were very nicely executed. But if I were to do it again, I would pass on the grilled shrimp. I just don't think they were worth it. Of everything I ate, I would highly recommend the Seabass over everything. Our cocktails were a huge hit. We ordered several and I can't say that anyone stood out above the rest and everything was divinely executed. But what really stood out above everything else was the service. While we were there, it started to rain. And the staff jumped into action. There is a beautiful deck outside with lots of seating. Back of house in front of house pulled together to ensure that everybody found a place inside or at least undercover. All outside seating and food service was turned around and under a minute. And it was done with a smile. I was super impressed with how seamlessly this happened. Of course, our orders were taken and turned around with care as well. I will absolutely be back. I've been to Ace Eat Serve a couple times now and it's a decent place with nice whiskey and Asian tapas. A nice attraction with pingpong tables in the large back room complimented with one of my favorite photo-booths in Denver. Love photo-booths and always use one if it's in a place, and this one has really good lighting. The drinks are what really go here for. My partner loves a good old fashioned. He finds these whiskeys pretty decent. The cocktails can be hit-or-miss. One of the ones on my most recent visit, the Smoke Signal, was a standout. Perfectly sweet and refreshing and not too smoky for a mezcal drink. Their food is okay. It's a little pricey and not worth it, in my opinion. Though the Claypot Chicken is one of the only dishes I really liked. Savory and nicely seasoned. If you're looking for a cute place with nice drinks, this place would fit that. They also have fun events throughout the week. Sometimes there's drag shows and other times DJ's. It's nice to sit out on the patio and enjoy drink. There are ping pong tables in the back, which makes for a fun dinner + entertainment space, especially for a special occasion or event. The taste of the food on the other hand feels average to me. I got the khao soi, which I enjoyed, but had pickled mustard greens that were waaaay too strong in flavor for me. I really wanted to like them and usually enjoy pickled things but I ended up having to avoid them by the end of my meal. I enjoyed the sichuan lamb dumplings and my sake! This was our third year choosing to hold a company event with ACE hosting nearly 500 people and we keep coming back because they make planning such a large event easier than it should be and offer incredible "bang for your buck," from the delicious and creative food, to the welcoming space, and critically, the hospitality team who goes above and beyond to make each detail of the event go off without a hitch. Jessie and the rest of the Ace team were super responsive and easy to work with throughout the whole process, starting with the contract all the way through post-event clean-up, and they provided excellent service, food, and drinks throughout the event. While it's certainly not limited to corporate events, the space was highly conducive to our needs: mingling/networking, presentations/AV, audience seating, fun activities like ping pong, and a full bar. Couldn't recommend them as a great option for hosting large events downtown enough! read more

All of their soy sauce is GF and house made - they come to the table in Kirkland soy sauce containers, that state contains wheat, but the staff assured me they just reuse old containers with the GF soy sauce. we got the crisp chili pickled cucumbers, kimchi, and hot + sour soup to start. the kimchi was nothing special, but I loved the cucumbers and soup. for the main meal, we got the Cantonese clay pot chicken and the spicy pork ramen. I would've liked both more with more spice, but still very good! we had the frozen passionfruit margaritas and they were DELICIOUS! Wish we could have tried some of the GF dessert options but man we were soooo full we couldn't even try a bite! read more

I have to say that this is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The flavor combinations at Ace are right up my alley. If you're into Asian fusions this is the spot! The Thai Me Up is a perfectly balanced, refreshing cocktail. I absolutely LOVE all of the Bao Bun options, especially the pork. However, if you're able to book ahead, do yourself a favor and check out the Peking duck experience. This is what truly sets Ace apart for me. The duck is meticulously prepared and carved at your table. It's served with pickled veggies, sauces and these amazing little mu shu crepes. Ace Eat Serve is an Asian fusion restaurant in the uptown neighborhood. It offers indoor, bar, and patio dining and spacious area for ping pong (for a $/hr charge). I was pleased with the happy hour menu- actually affordable prices. We ordered the tiger wings and potstickers. The potstickers were average but the unique tangy ginger mustard sauce made them better. The tiger wings had great crispy coating and flavor, but they were slightly over cooked as the meat was somewhat dry. Unfortunately we had some gooey fried bits included with our wings. I believe it was just floating bits of batter or something from the fryer soaked in the wing sauce, but it was off putting nonetheless. We also ordered cocktails off the happy hour menu as it offered frozen cocktail options for $5! The margarita was great, and the Rising Sun was good but not as good. The Rising Sun is basically an orange creamsicle/push pop slushy drink. I was mostly disappointed with the entrees we ordered. We ordered the beef lo mein ($24) and the beef and broccoli ($22). Both entrees were disappointing especially for the price. I think the biggest complaint is they were both pretty bland and flavorless. We were able to somewhat enhance flavor with chili oil. The beef in the beef and broccoli was generally tender. However, the meat's appearance was not appetizing and was sliced in too large of pieces to eat easily with chop sticks. I don't know if it was a one-off but would rate the lo mein at Panda Express better.The lo mein also was off putting because of the color and texture of the noodles, and the dish was watery. For atmosphere, I felt like it was inconsistent, and there was a disconnect with the food prices (regular menu) and the dining setting. Simply put, if I am paying $20+ for entrees, I don't want to be eating off of cheap plastic plates and have grungy dirty concrete floor. I dined on the covered patio so perhaps that is why the conditions were more rough, but it felt more like a dive bar atmosphere with fine dining prices. It seemed like Ace Eat Serve hadn't picked a single lane to go down to be consistent on interior design, dining ware, aesthetics, general atmosphere, etc. The restaurant charges a 4% back of house tax/fee. This is a personal pet peeve of mine, but it's just emphasizes the fact this place is overpriced in my opinion. Seems like if you charge customers $20+ for marginal entrees, you can pay your employees with that? Despite my other areas of disappointment, service on this visit was solid. Disappointed at this place and their strange Asian fusion menu. Although recommended by our Airbnb host, I saw the reviews here and was reluctant to try it. Should have listened to that instinct. Server Zeke was very outgoing when greeting us but not very effective at actually providing service to our table. He disappeared for very long periods of time and was not looking our way when he was visible. I had to flag down other servers for our needs. It was not a busy night, we go at 4pm for Happy Hour, so what's the excuse? Server knew we were there specifically to order happy hour drinks and snacks, but stuck me with the bill for a non-happy hour $14 hot sake because he failed to clarify my drink order when there was only cold sake offered on the happy hour menu (it doesn't say cold or hot). Frankly, for $5 I would have much preferred the cold sake and could have asked them to heat it up in the microwave like many places. But he didn't ask! Padding the bill or just careless? Who knows. We started with edamame, standard steamed salted preparation, $6. Then we tried the shrimp wontons (short on shrimp and flavor, with an odd sweet sauce). Finally the sweet salty sticky tiger wings and a side of rice. Wings were good, a 4 piece portion of good sized wings. The entree choices were limited and had a lot of wheat noodles which doesn't work for me. But the priority here is clearly the drinks and the ping pong tables, and not the service or the food. My favorite things were the seafood soup dumplings (special for the popup) and the steak. There was a miso/soybean-esque dip that came with the steak that was delicious. It reminded me of Korean ssamjang/KBBQ dipping sauce. Wouldn't recommend dessert though...we got the thai tea carrot cake and the cake was fine. Wish the frosting was a cream cheese flavor and the ice cream it came with was icey/completely frozen. Service was kind, quick, and attentive. Apart from dessert, the only downside is that this place is a bit more pricey, but not terribly expensive. If you're looking for Asian inspired dishes, this may be the place for you. read more

Was a first timer at this spot the other night with my wife and family, we went it for some apps drinks, and entrees. We are all huge Peking Duck fans and wanted to give it a try, I've had Peking Duck in Beijing and let me tell you this duck carved table side by Chef Berry took my taste buds half way across the world. We got their Crispy Brussel sprout and Shishito, Shrimp and Scallop Volcano Dumplings, and their crap mozzarella sticks for appetizers. Dumplings came out styled like little volcanos and they packed the flavor. Brussels are one of their most popular apps and when you try them you'll see why. Mozzarella sticks were a fun take on a simple classic, not too heavy, healthy serving of crap, and amazing sweet and spicy sauce to go along that was a great dip! Skyler was our server, right away she made us feel like we were at home, so kind and attentive. We asked a ton of questions and she is very knowledgeable and didn't steal us in a wrong direction. Our drinks were fantastic, I went with the Thia Me Up and The Year of the Horse, first one being a nice, fresh, and herbaceous gin cocktail. Where the second is a smooth and medicinal old fashioned style drink. And after this fantastic experience (or before) you can play a little ping pong, none of us are any good but didn't stop us from trying. We sat indoors due to a party reserving the entire outdoor area and had a ping pong table with our high top. It's $25 an hour for the ping pong table but we wanted the full experience. Orders from the happy hour menu which is 3-6 during the weekend and had the Hot Oaxaca and Whiskey of the Day for the adults. Drinks were ok. For food, we got three kids ramens (which were basically the size of an adult ramen), a spicy ramen, edamame, pot stickers, tiger wings, and crisp chili picked cucumbers. Ramen was ok.
