We decided to have it checked out and then make a decision. Scheduling the appointment was easy and the woman who took my call was friendly, knowledgeable and, as importantly, laughed at my stupid jokes. The tech showed up about 10 minutes early and diagnosed the problem in a matter of minutes. The cold water valve inside the machine was leaking and would have to be replaced. The tech suggested also replacing the hot water valve. I agreed to the price and he had it repaired inside of 30 minutes. He also checked out the drum bearings and the pump. The tech was a great guy who cleaned up the inside of the machine and made sure everything was the way he found it. I couldn't be happier.

Unfortunately, getting the part turned out to be a challenge, but that was of no fault of Above Par appliance repair. Once the part came in, Jared came out and quickly installed the part which got our refrigerator back up, running like new.

The salespeople at Home Depot were horrified when we went in person to complain. Their calls to the delivery company didn't help, and the company flatly refused to send a team to bring it into our house. We ended up returning the refrigerator and the delivery company will be picking it up in two days. Funny how they can do that and lose a sale but couldn't deliver it into our kitchen. Ponderosa diagnosed the refrigerator and said the icemaker needs a new part. They gave us a quote which surprised us how inexpensive it was considering how expensive the refrigerator was.
