I looked at Pellet Stoves everywhere in Flagstaff. No one seemed to know anything about the product they were selling except David at Roof Dancers. He is really, really knowledgeable, kind and caring. He spent a great deal of time helping me to select the best stove for my home and specific needs. David installed it taking much time and care with my property that had been recently remodeled. He took time to explain how to start it, go over the manual and allow me to take notes. The following season I returned to my home in Munds Park and had forgotten much of his excellent lesson. He returned, taking ample time once more to repeat what I needed to know. Know that you can trust this company. I have recommended Roof Dancers to many others who have have equally happy results. read more

Awesome company! Their service and communication are above the standard in the industry. They were very prompt with both quotes and options, returned calls and e-mails with clarity. Repairs were completed in a timely manner at a fair price; the service technician was very knowledgeable and trustworthy; I will 100% be using Roof Dancers only from this point on ..... Thank you for making this easy! read more

Dave, Carol and Vinny are awesome, very friendly and great customer service. Dave is very knowledge about wood stoves and what kind of wood to burn in my Blaze King. Dave was on time and called before left the shop. He replaced my fan, checked my catalytic converter which was still good. He then checked and cleaned my stove, and chimney. He cleaned up everything before he left. The price was a good value. The service was above and beyond my expectations. Highly recommend!! read more

Roof Dancers service and knowledge of wood burning stoves is the best in Flagstaff. We made an appointment, Dave showed up as scheduled, cleaned our stove and gave us a few pointers for the operation of our stove that they installed 11 years ago. We highly recommend Roof Dancers not only because Dave is a great guy, but he knows his stuff. Thank you Dave and staff! read more

Hired them last year. Left a mess in the living room after cleaning the stove pipe and didn't clean it up.

I was seeking expertise on installation of a new wood burning stove I purchased. I went to Roof Dancer's retail location. No one was around even with the front door wide open. Eventually a worker popped his head out of the back asking what I wanted. I explained my situation stating that I was looking for expertise and help. After multiple reiterative questions the worker then allowed me into a back location to talk further. I apologized and stated that I didn't want to be a bother. The worker responded, "it's okay, I always get jackasses here asking stupid questions." Ultimately the advice I got was "google it". Needless to say, don't go here. read more

Poor customer service! I scheduled this appointment a week ago so that I could schedule time off work to have them service my gas fireplace. Never received a phone call to confirm it today. Half an hour after they were supposed to be here I called. I was told that the technician should be there shortly and that he must be behind schedule. Really!? I think that was obvious! Half an hour later I called again and asked if he was coming. I expressed a concern that I expected a call back after my first call giving me an estimated time of arrival. I was told that they had tried to call the technician, but he didn't answer. I canceled the service call and will look for somebody else who can follow through. read more

Made an appointment for them to clean our chimney - soonest was 3 weeks out. We called the day before to confirm as we were driving up from Phoenix for the service. Day of, we received a call from service man that he was running an hour behind. Appointment was between 2-4. He never showed, no call & no answer at the office. Day 2- we called the office to find out what happened, lady said we had to call the service man. Called him & left a message. Around 2 pm when we hadn't heard anything, called the office, lady said we were on the list she would call him to find out what happened & call is back. She never did. We won't use this company & do not recommend to anyone! read more

We had two fireplaces that needed inspected/ cleaned in our rental. Roof Dancers was able to move their schedule around to squeeze us in last minute. The technician was fantastic, in and out in no time, and did a great job on both. The fireplaces look like new, and the price was wet reasonable. Couldn't recommend the company more. read more

Paid $150 to get my dryer duct cleaned. Told the kid over and over that I didn't think he was getting it clean. It never worked. I assume it is the dryer. Here I am 3 months later. I have bought a new dryer. It wasn't drying. I call the appliance repair guy. He takes off the vent and shows me that it is still clogged up. I called Gesundheit Air Quality Services. Problem solved. For $21 cheaper. read more

Had two chimneys inspected and cleaned. Technician, Levi, was professional, courteous and informative. I did not have to worry about my carpet becoming stained in the living room as he had laid out a canvas blanket over the carpet. Prior to sweeping the chimney, he covered the outer portion the fireplace with plastic using painter's tape to secure it the edges. He then got up on the roof and swept the chimney. After sweeping the chimneys, he removed the plastic and disposed of it. Both chimneys were then vacuumed and wiped down with a pleasant smelling solution. Virtually, no mess at all. I didn't have to think about cleaning up after another service personnel-he picked up after himself. I am a satisfied customer and would utilize their services again in the future. Pros: Professional and courteous Chimney sweep completed in an appropriate amount of time No messy ash or clean-ups after the technician Cons: Do wish that the technicians were allowed to stock some parts in their service trucks, but I don't know how realistic that would be with all the different manufactures. read more

Roof Dancers - After servicing the fireplace, clean and virtually no mess. - Chimney Sweeps Near Me - Flagstaff, Arizona

Poor customer service. Stopped by yesterday and it was closed. The guy was there and all I needed was a flue cap, would not sell me one, even though I was there. I guess he lost a sale and a future business. I was really trying to not buy on Amazon and buy local. Oh well, got it on Amazon. These days, customer service is what's going to keep customers buying local. read more

I was looking for someone to help take a look at a fireplace insert that had recently stopped working. I called roof dancers to see if they could possibly fit me into their schedule. The first thing I noticed when I called was how friendly the gentleman in the other line was. We was eager to hear about my problem and told me he would call me back in just a few min to let me know if he could fit us into to his schedule. He promptly called back, got me scheduled and did a great job when he was here. What more could you ask for!? The entire experience was on par and it's nice to have a great, reliable contract especially since I have 2 fireplaces we use for 6 months out of the year. read more

We have had three very positive interactions with this company and its staff, and would like to praise Levi in particular for his honesty and professionalism. read more

We called for a chimney sweep and inspection, requested by homeowners insurance. The quoted price was lowest of the other 2 I called in Flagstaff. They came out and fixed several issues, sealed our chimney at the roof where is was leaking and screwed our chimney pipe together. They also cleaned and spray painted our stove and chimney. Our 30 plus year old stove looks brand new!! No additional charges, they did it all for quoted price. Professional and great work. Thank you! read more

Terrible. Over priced and petty. I do not like the products they used to duct the stove. They did not use smooth ducting, they used corrugated and they use the cheapest stuff out there. Consumer prices are cheaper than what they sell it to you for. I believe they use corrugated duct so they have to come and clean out your chimney. More $$$ for them. I asked them also for a specific style cap. The one they used was UGLY and did not fit the style of the house. I removed it and returned the item to them for a refund. They did that. Then a year later they want $32 from me for some stupid part that I did not return. I told them to go fly a kite. You have enough of my money and wasted enough of my time. I do not recommend these guys at all. Customer service sucks too. Look around. There are other's. Look in Sedona too. I do like my stove but they had nothing to do with that. read more

This has to be one of the worst businesses in Flagstaff. I have lived here for almost 40 years and I have never heard anyone talk the way this women at Roof Dancers talked to a women who went into the business, not asking for anything, but information. She was rude and she was very unfriendly, I can't imagine anyone going in there and guying anything from them. If I was the owner (gosh I hope she wasn't one of them) they need to let her go and get someone who enjoys their job in there. Please if they see this call me, I would be glad to speak to the owner about this. 928-814-6072 read more

I scheduled with them multiple times and finally found a day that worked for my cabin in Munds park. I was waiting for them inside my cabin and they hadn't shown up after 2 hours. I went outside to get something and found a yellow note stuck to the door. They showed up about 1 hour 45 mins late (according to the paper they left) and then either didn't knock loud enough or knock at all. I called the office and they said sorry they had a more important job and they couldn't come back. They didn't call my cell listed on their paper or anything. Disappointed all this scheduling and they couldn't get a hold of me when I WAS IN THE HOUSE read more

They called and got my appointment moved up because of a cancellation. When Levi showed up he was very friendly and willing to answer ALL my questions. He was very knowledgeable about the old stove we had and showed me how to use it and how to make the best of using a wood stove. He was very professional and knew the trade well. Highly recommend him to anyone. Especially if you're new to winter seasons . read more

Awesome customer service super nice friendly helpful people don't go anywhere else this place is the only place to go I came in looking to spend a lot more money and they showed me a few options and save me about $1,000. I want to install the stove myself they were very helpful with helping me and pointing me in the right direction even offering to help crimp pipe to fit the stove these people are amazing with awesome customer service can't say enough about this place!! read more

We were very happy with this chimney cleaning service. The service man came at the scheduled time. He protected the carpeting and securely taped up the fireplace. Then he went up on the roof, even though it was threatening to rain, and cleaned a few years worth of soot out of the chimney. He finished by more cleaning and vacuuming out the firebox. Everything was left neat and tidy. He even gave us the summer discount! When we had a roaring fire later that night, the smoke went up the chimney like it was supposed to again. Now we will be having Roof Dancers return annually to keep the chimney clean. read more

Have had them clean my chimney for 5 years now and inspect and clean my insert and have had no problems at all. My father bought this insert about 7 years ago and it's still one of the best investments he made to this house before he passed I took the house over and plow snow for 12 hrs at a time I can put it on low do my 12 come home open the insert door and BOOM, fire starts right up ! Sure is nice to come home and not have to build a fire and have my house nice and warm 12 hours later!!! read more

One of the worst local business experiences I've ever had! I'm born and raised in Flagstaff and feel we've been ripped off. David came stayed maybe 15-20 min, and didn't even check the fan which was our main problem! Lazy! Waste of $ and time. And trying to get them back out to fix the problem was a nightmare of poor communication with the office staff. Bad business! Don't support this for our town. read more

I used this Company in 2014 to have my Chimney cleaned and the Gentleman that came out was excellent. I utilized their service again today and I am in awe by the amount of soot all over my house. 30 minutes or less of chimney cleaning and 6 hours of house cleaning. I do have to say that the 2 men were very friendly and my gutters were cleaned nicely. However the mess inside my house left a bitter taste in my mouth. read more

Worst experience ever. I received a quote to move a wood stove in the house and installation of a new hearth pad. They measured everything and it was only when they installed it did they realize that there was an 5 inch gap from the edge of the hearth pad to the wall, despite having already measured it and telling us that it would fit against the wall perfectly. When calling the office to ask what went wrong I was responded with criticism, telling me, "You should just ignore it, it can't be that bad," and doubt that I was telling the truth and complete rudeness about the situation. They then wanted to charge me an extra 900$ for a new, larger hearth pad even though they had the measurements from the beginning. After a verbal fight with their office staff it was agreed upon to have just plain tile placed in at no extra cost. However their worker arrived an HOUR late then worked for 30 minutes before saying he was hungry and left to get food for another hour. The tile job itself looked like absolute garbage and we gave up on them completley, knowning that we would only be met with rudeness and contempt. On top of it the worker did not realize that he had to come back and reinstall the stove until I asked when he would do it. This company is completely unprofessional and their employees are rude, lazy and try to take every penny out of your pocket. I would never recommend this company to anyone for any job what so ever. Worst company I have ever delt with. I wonder where the owner is because he obviously doesn't know what is going on under his name. read more
