In September 2023, I contracted Noah's Ark Roofing and Sheet Metal (herein referred to as "NARSM") to replace my roof. While their subcontractor/vendor delivered the materials, Vince (the son of NARSM owner) told the driver not to drive over my basketball court. Unfortunately, the driver didn't follow the instructions and cracked a section of the court. Vince assured me they would have it fixed. The original company that did our concrete job provided an estimate for repair which came to about the final remaining balance owed to NARSM ($1,508). When I presented the estimate to NARSM, the CFO Jenn Choate not only rudely refused responsibility, but harassed me with threats of a lawsuit and posing a lien against my home. The contract clearly says that NARSM will furnish all materials and provide all labor necessary to complete the roofing. I made numerous attempts to resolve this matter with multiple phone calls and emails requesting that NARSM work directly with their contractor/vendor to correct the problem. Additionally, I made multiple requests to be in direct contact with the owner of NARSM. Every time, Jenn Choate blocked the contact and suggested I contact their legal counsel, but then never provided the contact information for their attorney. Finally, Jenn stated that I refused to pay, which I did not as I was just waiting for them to make the repairs before I sent the final payment. She also said that I could never contact NARSM, which essentially means if I ever have a problem with the roof, I
cannot use our warranty. This has been a very negative, time-consuming, stressful experience. In my opinion, Noah's Ark Roofing and Sheet Metal lacks integrity. read more
