Hi Matt, Good morning. The kids, Paul and I absolutely LOVE the results of you and your team's hard work!!! I often dreamed of updating our home. Who could have predicted an unexpected flood and you & your crew saving the day would result is my "dream" coming true?!? I appreciated you taking on my project and fitting me in to your already over-packed schedule. Understanding this, I tried to do my part by being home or returning home when needed to let a trade in and picking out/ordering items as quickly as possible so you weren't waiting on me. Thank you for referring us to Home Depot to get the tile, toilet, sink, faucet & washer/dryer. Dina over there was fantastic. She use to work in appliance at Sears so was very knowledgeable. Thank you also for sending me to AZ Royal. They were awesome and though I picked the counter top from a tiny sample & a photo, they are exactly what we wanted and are GORGEOUS!!! The waterfall and over the Toto shelf just added the perfect touch. Adam was here the most. He is a great addition to your team. Very kind, called to schedule his arrival and just overall a nice person. I appreciated David's work on laying the tile and suggestion to go one shade darker on the grout. A small thing but we are SO happy with the results. Monaco & Frank did their part too. Brian (Ted's son) & "other" Brian with Canyon flooring did a ton of work! I think it was 10 days from installing to sealing. Brian, Ted's son, sanded our floor for 2 1/2 days! I had no idea how much caring, work and skill goes into making a wood floor new again. Brian wanted to get the job completed so worked to stain with dry time twice on Saturday and two coats of high traffic satin sealant on Sunday. I think that part of the repair was the most unbelievable - a flood and days of labor gave us these beautiful new warm, brown floors. Harper's plumbing found, stopped and repaired the leak. I'm very grateful for you coaching me that Wednesday evening, when the dripping began, to call Brad right then! We love the new Toto and faucet. The powder room is now my favorite room in the house. With all the workmen and trucks coming and going neighbors were asking what we were up to. I let them all know your name/company and shared you were great with all projects you'd done for us before. You'd put our new roof on and we were SO grateful with how quickly you responded in helping us stop the water, dry the area and with you scheduling a constant flow of workers the project got done quickly and efficiently. Now that the floor has had a week to cure we are starting to move furniture back. We hope you stop by to see the results. (I've attached photos below.) I think the biggest thing for a homeowner is finding a contractor they can trust. When we did the buildout at our dental office the "dental office expert" contractor said it would be 60-90 days. At 11 months the job was still not complete and he simply quit returning our calls. We lost patients over that b/c we didn't have the space to see them all. It was devastating. You are the real deal. Matt's Drywall & Patch, Inc. is the best general contractor we have ever used, which has been a few. Matt is honest; he listens, and does not try to oversell you. Plus, he gives great suggestions, the cost of which are reasonable and worth it. Matt's crew is hardworking, efficient and have great ideas as well. It appears they can do about anything. Jeromy, Dave, Terry, and Monico work together with ease. We had an issue re placement of a heater vent, for which Matt had the crew jump over to our house and fix it in a couple of hours. Jeromy is a great electrician and outright handyman. We added lights under the cabinets and Ring and an electronic lock for which he didn't hesitate to install, even though it was an add-on. Monico is the best drywaller we have ever used--his experience of 20 years shows. Dave was precise when he installed the floor throughout the house and tile in the bathroom and backsplash. We asked him to use his creativeness in tiling the bathroom and backsplash, which was awesome. Lastly, Terry can do it all, whether it's ripping out a wall, helping Dave or Monico with drywall or flooring. He can build anything. June 01 2023, we discovered an under slab leak in our kitchen area near the sink . The plumber located the leak under the kitchen cabinets, the leak was stopped and bypassed. A " dry out" company was called and installed several items of equipment Once the dry out was complete we were advised a crew would be out to demolish the cabinets but repair could not be done until late JULY. We ask for a company inspector to come out and inspect for possible damage prior to demolishing the cabinets. We were told no one was available to come out to inspect for possible damage. That's when we called Mike at CSA Mill Works who arrived with Matts AZ Mold Pro / Construction, a complete mold inspection and possible cabinet damage was done. Matt and Mike found that there was NO reason to remove any of the cabinets. Matts Drywall had all repairs finished within a week or two which included Drywall, Tile repair and cabinet items. Matt's personnel who conducted repairs were polite, professional, and highly skilled. A second leak was discovered in one of the bypass lines, Matt arrived within 2 hours and had that minor leak repaired. To finish this evaluation, call Matt and Mike the first time. We met Matt at a low point in our life. We just had a baby and found out that there has been a leak in our kitchen piping which had led to a super SEVERE and out of this world molding situation. We reached out to several companies but everyone was super busy. Matt was also very busy and weeks out but he saw and understood our situation and treated us like family. Matt did a complete restoration, mold removal and reconstruction of our kitchen. He moved things around in his schedule and went above & beyond to help us. he worked closely with our insurance and helped us with all the communications. He is very responsive and great at responding to you ASAP. They did a very professional and neat job and in a timely manner. We live 50 miles from Flagstaff, about 70 miles from Matt's shop. It is an incredible challenge to get anyone in the area to come out, regardless of the work available. In the last five years Matt hasn't turned down my jobs. These are individual jobs his company has done for me. 5,000sqft of drywall, mud, tape, paint. 2,000sqft of window retrofit, cutting in three patio doors. Replaced three doors with some slightly wonky custom doors that he had to rework because the builder of the doors messed up. Built a custom, wall size cambria stone fireplace from a cocktail knapkin drawing. Did 10,000sqft of roofing with new fascia. He called in a favor or two and got me upgraded underlayment and roofing at no extra cost. All were individual jobs that he came out to look at, bid professionally and was on the job every day until completed. Job site cleaned up as if they were never here. Quality work. We've used several contractors in the past, but since finding Matt he's become our go-to guy. Over the years Matt and his crew have remodeled our two bathrooms and the kitchen; took out some old, huge glass solar panels in our roof; reroofed the house; fixed the foundations on our post-and-beam house; built an attached carport; built porticos over the garage side doors; installed a gas fireplace; repaired the siding on the house where the woodpeckers tried building a nest; installed a new furnace; refinished the front entry wood floor; regraveled our front drive; and so many other miscellaneous projects.
