Great customer service and quality performance. Estimator arrived promptly and provided a reasonable quote for the scope of services. Our home sits on a treed lot and is three levels high, but the crew led by Dino took the time to make sure the project was completed the way we wanted it done with professionalism, respect, and a great attitude. On-site follow up by management ensured any area that needs further attention was taken care of, with no hassles. read more

Our HOA had 5 duplexes to have the exteriors painted. CertaPro team did an outstanding job despite inclement weather and Pocket Fire smoke. They did multiple coats and the team cleaned up everything at the end of each day removing trash and sweeping up so the residents didn't have to. They removed plastic window coverings daily in most cases so the residents without air conditioning could open their windows at night. CertaPro local management was proactive and checked onsite regularly. Miguel, the prep and painting lead, and his team was outstanding and needed minimal oversight. great job. We will use CertaPro Flagstaff again in the future as needed. read more

Five years ago, I hired CertaPro Painters to paint the exterior of my house, and let me tell you--I wasn't expecting to still be admiring their work like a proud homeowner five years later. But here I am. The process was smooth, the staff was so friendly I almost invited them to Thanksgiving, and the painters were cleaner than my kitchen after a deep scrub (which is saying something). They kept me updated throughout, which meant no shocking surprises--just top-tier painting skills in action. Now, five years later, my house still looks brand new. No fading, no peeling--just sitting there, smugly resisting the elements. I recently recommended them to a friend, and honestly, I deserve commission for it. If you want a paint job that'll last longer than most TV series, call CertaPro Painters of Northern Arizona. You'll thank me in five years. read more

Amazing job / I Highly recommend them ! We had CertaPro of Northern Arizona paint the outside (and a few rooms inside) of our larger home in Cave Creek. From the estimate/price quote to the finished product CertaPro did an amazing job. They were the most professional painting company I have dealt with in Arizona. Jason did a great job giving us an honest diligent quote. Larry and his painting team have tremendous attention to detail. You can tell that customer service and the quality of the finished product are the priority. I highly recommend CertaPro of Northern Arizona. read more

We requested CertaPro to paint the exterior of our house. So far, we are not impressed. They started on 4/26 and are suppose to be finished on 5/8. Since they only started actually painting our house on 5/2, there is NO way that they will finish on 5/8. AND, what they did paint..which was only a SMALL section of our house, has to be re-done. According to the supervisor in Flagstaff, they should be working until 4-4:30, but they have been leaving around 2:00. They taped up our front windows on Thursday saying that they would paint that section on Friday..... since they BOTH called off, our windows were taped off for FOUR nights! The supervisor that was here on Friday said they shouldn't be taped off even over night! For the size of our house, there should be more than TWO guys painting! Supposedly, there will be more than two showing up this week! read more

Highly recommend. On time and on budget with a fantastic end result. Extremely professional.

I have had over the years several homes painted. By far CertaPro has provided me with the best service. They kept me informed during the entire process. The crew was professional and the painting detail spot on. Quality and value at their best. read more

My wife and I were very impressed with the professionalism and high-quality work done by CertaPro Painting Team Supervisor German Martinez and his coworker, Diego. The new Sherwin Williams, Dover white colored paint, really brightened up the interior of our home. You actually feel very happy when you walk into it. From the beginning to the end of the painting project, CertaPro Painters of Northern Arizona did a great job of painting the interior of our entire house. We will definitely keep them in mind for any future painting projects. read more

We just finished having our home painted by CertaPro in Prescott AZ. They did a 5 star job and I can't think of anything to be critical of. Their team consisted of Jonathon Bennett as supervisor and James and Kyle who actually did the job. They were definitely the alpha team. The were also very competitive with price among the 3 bids we obtained. read more

company knew I was from out of town, postponed me a week. on start date I got 2/12 hours of prep which wasn't nearly enough. second day 1 painter who spent most of the day continuing prep on 1 bedroom and bathroom, some painting. I was told I would have a crew of painters. Called company and was told they would send more help the next day (supposed final day), so far still only one painter. Horrible experience. I had to cancel a trip, people visiting my home and extend my stay by almost a week. read more

CertaPro was a great experience. Jon responded quickly and was able to schedule the interior painting in the time frame requested. Larry, the lead painter and his team did a fantastic job in the timeframe promised. They dealt with any issues I raised with a positive attitude and quality work all around. Price was fair and competitive. They are my first choice for exterior painting later in the year. read more

I hired them to do a job for me in Jerome AZ I needed nicotine mitigation and the walls painted. They did an amazing Stefan was always very easy to reach and on top of everything. I am getting those ready to sell and I live in Los Angeles so I was not able to be there for the work. This was no problem at all Stefan and team were on the ball and made this as painless as possible. I recommend CertaPro for any painting work you need done! read more

I recently hired Certapro to paint the entire interior of a home I am renovating. I have never lived in the home but am just facilitating its renovation and repair. During the consultation process I was assured that all holes would be patched and all small security system boxes would be removed prior to painting. The home is not occupied and completely empty of household items. I anticipated that the project would not take longer than a week and visited the home after a full work week had passed. They were not completed which was not a huge concern but I sent an email asking for an end date as the flooring would need to be laid soon. I also inquired if they could possibly remove the security boxes as they were not removed. I received a somewhat curt response that they had completed the job that day and that they would not be removing the boxes because they contained wires and it would be a risk. After the flooring contactor began his work he let me know that upon his arrival the windows were left completely open and the heat was left on the highest setting. The propane tank for the home was completely drained. Luckily the pipes had not frozen and no one had decided to break into the home. I emailed Certapro to let them know and did not receive a response. Today I was able to visit the home in person and have reached a new level of disappointment. Only about half of the socket covers had been put back on. There is paint on light fixtures that were not cleaned. There are several small holes that were not fixed. Oh and best of all after looking at the security boxes for a total of five seconds I was able to determine there are absolutely no wiring to them and they are battery powered. No risk at all! Just two tiny little screws and a plastic bracket. So essentially someone was just feeling lazy and didn't want to take 5 minutes to remove them. For the price I paid and the quality of work performed and the customer service received, I should have just taken a couple weekends and done it myself. read more

About a year ago we had CertaPro paInt the entire exterior of our two-story house. The exterior needed, and got, a LOT of pre-paint treatment (including a specialized paint for highly weathered surfaces). All of this was spelled out in the contract; as you use CertaPro be sure everything you want is included. That way you will get what you paid for. Because CertaPro is a national franchise, there are specialist employees who estimate, another who schedules, another who bills, another for customer service and then the painters. Keeping everyone talking to each other can be a challenge, but the end result is a superb paint job. We will use them avain. read more

We had certified roll come out and give us a bit for a house and a barn. After they gave us the bed we told him to go ahead and start. They painted our 3200 square-foot barn stalls our home decks pergola everything that needed to be painted. It was a big job. The guys were really nice and courteous and they did an awesome job. I would tell anybody that was paying their house to get a hold of Servpro they were very courteous and kind and like I said it was a big job we had carport to carport six 3200 square-foot house and barn and feel good and stalls and pergolas and decks to paint and I got it all down thank you CertaPro.. read more

Update to the horrific work done. Now we have massive issues with the work done. Even though they stated we did not have to pay for their terrible work I have a long summer of repairs ahead to rectify this. Puts me super behind in my house repairs. We now have a 1ft by 10" bubble in the paint they did. Fantastic! Now I am going to have to remove it, sand it and try my best to paint several careful coats in order for it not show. read more

We had Jon Bennett from Prescott Valley come out to look at our paint jobs. He took pictures of the jobs needed and said he would e-mail me an estimate later in the day. The day came and went, no e-mail. I texted him, no response. I called him, no response and I e-mailed him, again no response. If for some reason he didn't want to do the job he should of been professional enough to let us know, not leaving us hanging. I found Jon not to be ethical, nor a man of his word. If you can't trust a person to do small things, how can you trust a person to do a job for you. To me this says a lot about his company. read more

I had several companies bid the job of repainting the exterior of my home. After a few weeks of bids, I decided to go with Certapro as they could get it scheduled within three weeks vs. other companies who were 1-2 months out for scheduling. Oscar showed up with a 11 year old girl as his "helper" which seemed unprofessional to me, however I proceeded to pull everything away from my house this morning for Oscar who explained he was power washing. After about 30 minutes of Oscar getting set up his Manager Jon Bennet showed up. As we are walking the job; Jon explains that he bid the window pop outs to be the body color and not the trim. I explained that isn't what we discussed originally from my recollection. He became very defensive and stated that's an upcharge!! I explained I was not aware that the color of the pop outs would create additional costs. That said i asked Jon to walk the project with me so we could identify any additional upcharges now so there were no more surprises. As we were walking I pointed out things not noted on the Original bid, (Ie: Fireplace Flue, Electrical Boxes, downspouts for wiring) He said these were all included. He was adamant that the additional cost would apply of $200 for the window pop outs to be masked and painted the trim color. I reluctantly agreed and signed the handwritten note regarding the upcharge. He assured me not to worry, that we would walk the job at the end and anything that wasn't to satisfactory would be corrected. I replied great, because "I definitely want to get my moneys worth". I went back inside so they could do the power washing and within 5 minutes Jon was knocking on the door....He said I'm sorry but we are going to pass on the job, as Oscar and his pre-teen friend loaded up supplies. He said he didn't believe from our interaction this morning he would be able to satisfy me? I asked what specifically did I say that rubbed you the wrong way? He said "that you were going to make sure you got your moneys worth". I said well I will not apologize for wanting to get my moneys worth.. thank you and have a nice day and shut the door. Did they move anything back that they pulled away from the house? No...they left my back gate wide open (dog )and left the jobsite. AVOID THESE GUYS LIKE THE PLAGUE.. Unless you are not concerned with being nickel and dimed, or if you have low expectations of their work and plan to ask zero questions. Prior to posting this review I spoke with the owner Jay who was very pleasant and apologetic. Unfortunately the damage is done. read more

Stay away! Jon is a liar and not a man of honor. We chose a semi gloss for the entire house interior. Jon sent a proposal with sherwin williams promar 400 eggshell sheen. Silly me, knowing nothing about paint, assumed this was the paint we talked about. Jon says nope, he had no recollection of us wanting semi gloss. Really? OK so why did you choose a paint I later found out was cheap contractor junk? You signed the proposal! This is industry standard paint! You signed the proposal! Extremely defensive. I asked if he didn't recall us wanting semi gloss, why this garbage? Nothing. Bait and switch dirtbag tactic. Also, clearly did not give housectwo coats. Far too many areas not covered well, or at all, to be two coats. Unless it can be explained how BOTH coats somehow managed to miss the exact same areas twice! Total BS. Also painted almost a complete side of my refrigerator! That comes off, says Jon. Unbelievable. Also his amazing crew decided to go into my garage and stomp around on a brand new exercise mat I recently purchased, getting paint on it. Only a twenty dollar mat, but WHY?? Found a leaking, painted toilet tank. Jon says impossible that his incredible crew did that, and that I must be trying to "pull something ".Um, ok. A painted ceiling fan light fixtures. A pantry not painted. A leaking shower head. Badly scratched kitchen counter. Impossible for his talented crew to do that! What are you trying to pull, says Jon. Supposed to send an invoice with laundry room cost removed but he...forgot! Just go anywhere else. Over three thousand dollars for garbage work, garbage paint (again, why??), damage to personal property and household, and a defensive baby accusing me of trying to rip HIM off. Very deceitful person. Final question: if you come to a house you'll be painting, and the owner does not mention what kind of paint he wants, why wouldn't you simply ask, rather than use garbage quality, ceiling paint? He also ranted that "no one uses semi gloss throughout a house!" Yes, he actually used that as part of his lie about us not telling him we wanted semi gloss throughout. So he wins, we get a ridiculous paint job, and we're out over three grand for a job we'll have to do over. You signed the proposal!!! read more

I hired Flagstaff CertaPro to do a few exterior and one interior paint job on some apartments and a rental house I own. They did a fantastic job. I especially appreciated their help with choosing colors since this is not my talent! German and his crew were professional, prompt, tidy, and did an excellent job, both inside and out. We moved into a new home in June and the interior needed a fresh painting to brighten it up and to make it our home. We met with Arturo to define the scope of the job and to get an estimate. As the work date approached, we had to make some clarifications and adjustments to the scope of the work and Arturo was easy to work with. George and his team arrived on the scheduled date. They were very professional, friendly, and accommodating to our needs. They worked diligently for a week and did an excellent job! It's been over three months since the job was completed and we have found no flaws that needed to be fixed. Our only area for improvement is that the painting crew was over extended between a couple of jobs and this caused a small delay in the completion of our project. Overall, are very pleased with the result and would highly recommend! read more

We tried to paint the exterior of our home, but soon after realized we weren't as young or skilled as we thought. ;-( So, we contacted CertaPro Painters to finish the job since they came highly recommended by two of our neighbors (their houses look amazing). This review is long overdue. Let me start by saying, if you need your house painted (I think they may even do businesses), these are the people you can trust. Qualified workers with a great attitude. They use only the best paint and their crew knows how to execute and follow through. My house was a mess when I met Tony, their salesman. He gave a thorough estimate, and when something unexpected came up they ate the extra cost. I was surprised to receive an occasional follow up phone call after the job was done just to be sure I was still happy with it and that nothing was peeling or amiss. They offered to come back out as many times as needed in case they "missed a spot" or found an area to peel. Great communication skills, competent workers, friendly attitudes, low/no pressure sales, and professional service. This company is here to satisfy! read more

Update to the June 2017 post. We are now on month 3 and continue to get the run around from Jason Bowers. He has given us many hoops to jump through, which we've done, and there has yet to be any resolve. This is by far the most unethical company I've ever seen. read more
