Danny sent out a brand new tech -- Lloyd -- the next day to investigate. Lloyd tripped and put his entire foot through our kitchen ceiling, creating a big hole in the kitchen ceiling. Danny immediately agreed to pay for the repairs of the kitchen ceiling as that was 100% his company's fault and even mentioned that it would probably cost us $200-$300 for those extra repairs. Months later in November 2020, I had to threaten him with legal action before he finally sent a PARTIAL check for the repairs. Our drywall technician charged $125 to patch the kitchen ceiling, including 5 visits to our house to measure, fill, dry, patch, dry, patch, dry, patch, and sand the area. Our painter charged $100 to climb up on top of our cabinets 3 times to paint and repaint the area, and the paint match still is not exact. The total for our kitchen ceiling repair was $225. I did not charge Danny for the damage to the flooring or the adjacent walls. After threatening that my attorney would contact him next week, Danny finally sent a check for $155 (NOT $225 as requested and backed up by my receipts that I sent him), and he DID NOT SIGN his check! When I emailed Danny regarding the unsigned check in the wrong amount, he insisted on my returning his unsigned check before he would send another $155 and said I can get a lawyer for the other $70 for a painter who "was onsite anyway" to repair all the damage that Danny and his guy did in our master bedroom, including peeling paint off our walls with his inferior tape, putting staples in our brand new floor "accidentally" with their shoes, and scuffing and damaging our brand new cork flooring with their ladder and their shoes. After Danny saw my review (which was worse than it is now!), he immediately wrote to say he would now pay the $225 in full and asked me to take down the review. He then said he was being petty! I have now received his check for $225. He continues to ask me to "pretty please" delete the review. I have revised the review from 1 to 3 stars and softened it a bit. I will not be coerced into deleting the facts.

We scheduled to have a few rooms (three of our four) done plus our couch and after thinking about it decided to add the extra room, hall and a linen headboard. They were super accommodating and flexible for us to be able to add in these things and explained so much ahead of time in relation to what to expect and why (I didn't even think you'd need that for just carpet cleaning but you'd be surprised!) I felt like everyone actually knew what they were talking about and what they were doing. The guys showed up at our house on time, they were professional and friendly as well. They explained again the process, made some solid recommendations- did not feel like they were salesmen at all! The carpets, couch and headboard look awesome and we are super pleased with the price as well. Definitely would use TG's again.

I do not know how we would have navigated this process without the professional expertise of this company, specifically the owner, Loretta. She had the difficult task of helping us submit claims to both our private insurance and the HOA insurance, both of which didn't want to pay their part. We were also faced with labor shortages, supply delays and slow insurance reimbursement but she magically made it all work. She exceeded our expectations in everything she handled. Whenever we hit a bump in the road, she had a potential solution and was cheerful and extremely knowledgeable in her field. I called to schedule thinking it would be at least a week or more but they were able to get to us in two days! They showed up on time and were friendly and were thorough in answering some of our questions about how to extend the life of our area rug and carpets. They cleaned the rug, couch, and a few rooms and added a protectant to the rug. I will say (and I feel like this is like anything) they did upsell and what we ended up paying was definitely more than we expected but I don't think that was on them really, we booked knowing the base cost they just did their job and sold us on extras.
