To summarize: Dealing with Bryan of Schroeder's Home Repair was a very unpleasant experience because he started the job, did about 25% of it, then said he was unable to continue and his return date was unknown, so I terminated his services. I then had to find a contractor to complete the unfinished job. I paid Schroeder's Home Repair 50% or $350 up front for completion of the entire job. However, as Bryan only completed 25% of the job it was agreed that he would refund $200 of the original $350 paid. As of today, I have only received $100 of the agreed $200 refund and I was made to feel grateful that I even received that amount. I felt demeaned because I had to beg and plead for weeks to get the partial refund. Schroeder's Home Repair has informed me that I should not expect any further refund. I won't be using Schroeder's Home Repair again and certainly wont be referring this service to anyone I know.
