I chose Thane because of the glowing reviews, however, I must've missed the one about him ruining the rugs. I left him with a $8000 rug that had been ruined by my Dad's dog. Thane said he would do his best, but couldn't guarantee that the stain would come out. $640 and two months later, I finally get the rug back. I appreciated Thane's honesty when he said he couldn't get the stain out. When I got it home and unrolled it, the stain was worse than what it was when I sent it to him. In fact, it looked like it has spread. I don't think Thane ever vacuumed the rug prior to "cleaning" it. My husband and I have vacuumed over the rug almost a dozen times and are still pulling out a TON of dirt. Sadly, there are now chunks of the rug missing from simply vacuuming it. Thane said he power washed it and let it sit in a solution to get the smell out. He got the smell out, and ruined the rest of it. All I want is my $640 back. I'm not even asking him to replace the rug. I don't think he did anything to clean the rug other than power wash it and let it sit in soap, which, by the way, is still coming out when I rinse it with the shampooer. read more

I'd lost his information as we weren't living in the area full time yet so I'd used other companies in the meantime. However, I found his information when cleaning out a drawer and called him again to clean my carpets. Thane is a very good communicator. He was here when he said he'd be and once again he did an amazing job. This time I also had him clean my tile/grout floors in the kitchen. Oh my gosh...what a difference! For three years I've had Thane and his company clean the older carpet and sectional sofa in our Airbnb. They always do an outstanding job removing the stains and preserving the carpet/soft until we can replace them. I'm always amazed at how clean they look, and my guests appreciate it, too. Hired them yesterday to remove a spot in the carpet left by some construction guys. We did not know what was put on the carpet and that can be a problem because what the spot is effects how you deal with it. Crooked company! I normally don't take time to review companies but Premier Carpet Restoration is a crooked business that needs to be exposed! Thaine answered my call on May 19, told me he was running a sale of 25% off ($3/sq ft) and that my rug would be 2-3 weeks out but if I dropped it off myself that he would probably be able to get to it sooner, like Labor Day weekend. I dropped off rug a few hours later at his business location(inside of carpets of dalton. The women working front of the house were very upset Thaine asked me to drop off rug without him there. Around the first week of June. I still hadn't hear ANYTHING back so I called in to be sure Thaine had received my rugs. He was very curt with me and told me that he had already told me it would be a few weeks out. And that he would get to it when he could. -And that I could pick them up now if I didn't like that timeline. i should've just picked the rugs up. Well, on Wednesday June 14 (4weeks later) i still hadn't heard anything back so I called and Thaines employee answered to tell me my rugs would be cleaned that day and that he would call back to quote me a price and let me know when they would be back. On Friday June 16th I stopped in to Carpets of Dalton to see if the rugs were ready. I was told they were. I was billed $320 for my rugs and told my 3x5 rug would be free due to the wait. He told the woman over the phone that my rug was an 8x10. I said wait a minute he quoted me $3/sq ft, and in addition my large rug is a 7x10. I asked her for a tape measure to prove it. She said she didn't have one. I brought one in and upon seeing the rug was 7 feet long we calculated $210 for large rug and $45 for small rug. She called Thaine back he became irate and said if I wanted the rug that day I had to pay $320 otherwise wait a week until he returned to Flagstaff. The woman told me that it was clear he was overestimating my charges and said if I gave her $255 I could take the rugs. I said are you sure? She said yes I want this done. I gave her $260. keep in mind if my small rug was really free for the long wait as he had tried to BS me with, my charges would've been $210. Not $320. I tried to call him to make sure he had been paid and offer photos of the rug next to tape measure and he cut me off as soon as I said who I was and said his business with me is concluded since I had already paid cash. My small rug is no longer square, I'm hoping next time another company cleans it they will stretch it correctly. Also my large rugs pile is now shortened, irt was either shrunken or Corey rolled it up early. Flagstaff folks, avoid the nasty business Thaine is running and get it done right elsewhere!!!! read more

I like to get my carpet and tile cleaned once a year and I have used several of the companies around Flagstaff. I guess none of the ones I have used impressed me enough to make me a regular. Thane at Premier is a super nice young man and has obviously been well trained. The training along with his enthusiasm and energetic approach to his work was very enjoyable.
