I would give it 0 stars if I could. I called and said I needed service for my electric tankless water heater which keeps blowing a fuse. First an electrician comes out and tells me that I need a plumber instead. He then calls a plumber out who, because it's ELECTRIC won't work on it. I ask what he suggests and his response was, "Put a gas one in instead". Sure! I'd love to spend several thousand dollars to run a gas line out, not to mention buying a new water heater! That was the end of his suggestions too by the way. I strongly suggest going somewhere. read more

Thank you for the response to my review however, your response is inaccurate. Your team DID NOT install correct wiring nor did they install/correct the circuit breaker. They did NOT RECOMMEND that I contact a spa company. I chose to contact a spa company because your techs stated there was a problem with the spa motor. The spa company checked all motor components and the spa company confirmed that there was NOTHING wrong with the spa motor. The spa company checked connection wiring's and the circuiting and removed the wiring and breaker that were placed in error by your team, started the spa, and the spa has worked fine since the spa company corrected it. The work your team did was incorrect and accordingly the spa was not correctly hooked up. Since then, I continue to receive invoices that I have never approved and threats. Your GM informed me that the original invoice (in excess of $1800) sent in error. read more

I love that Accurate offers a service plan with included maintenance visits that they make sure to follow up with you on getting scheduled when the time comes. Every time accurate visits they are always professional and make sure to explain in detail all the things they checked and conclusions that they came to. Really upset at Accurate today. Called this AM to schedule them to come over and check my AC/HVAC due to this horrendous smell that's coming from the vents. Operator answered and she said sure thing, were available tomorrow morning between 10-12. Great. See you then. Got the text and confirmed that we were good to go. Awesome! All of the sudden...At the end of the day I get a call from an alleged dispatcher saying that they would have to cancel bc they had "families with no air" needing assistances! I said "what..?"! Operator explained that there were families in "My community" that had no AIR during this excessive heat wave and they needed help. That they were making them a priority. I said, "Ok fine".. then he said "he would reschedule". Great, no big deal. I was thinking following next day or in the afternoon. Wow....Nope! He literally told me " I can perhaps "maybe", schedule you for the end of the week but next week .. I'm not too sure ..potentially Friday late"...!? I lost it.. what are you talking about ..?! I need help ASAP YOU A*HOLE. I can't keep my air on for my family bc of a horrible smell!..!" I had cxld work and everyone else and now your just calling me at the end of day, to schedule me for end of next week "maybe" .. what in the... The dude had No shame as he fabricated a lie to push me out bc you guys know you can make MORE CASH off other families that have no AC. Can careless about my family or OUR situation! I had electrical work done by Kenny, who was really nice and very knowledgeable and personable. The first time he started to leave, he had said the a/c was working and I had him MAKE SURE and it was, in fact, not working (even though you could hear the fan) and he had to make some adjustments. Then he came back today to install a 50 am breaker. Again, before he left I asked him to MAKE SURE the a/c is working, and again, he assured me it was. Well, not it is 7:30 p.m., 80 degrees in my home, and I have medical conditions that are drastically impacted by being over-heated. I called their "24 hour service" number and they ARE NOT available to come out this evening, telling me it will be tomorrow before they can come do whatever is needed to do to get my a/c working again. It was working when they arrived and is no longer working, so it is an electrical issue that they created. And yes, you can hear the fan, but the cooler part is not working at all. I guess if I end up in the hospital, they'll get the bills. And if I have to get a hotel room, I guess they'll get that bills, too. THEY DO NOT OFFER 24 HOUR EMERGENCY SERVICE, even though that's what their website says.. read more

My experience with Accurate was absolutely wonderful. First of all, I love that they are a local business that have been open for a long time. All of this is explained when first making your appointment. They were able to give us a same day appointment for an electrical issue. I loved that they sent a picture and a little paragraph about the technician coming. Lance arrived on time and figured out the issue quickly. He was very thorough and kind. Our furnace recently took its last breath and left us stranded in the cold harsh LA winter. We suddenly found ourselves in the market for a new heater and while we were at it, replace all of the ducts. We researched vendors through Yelp and met with a handful of companies. I can not express how much I appreciate this company. Last summer our unit started acting wonky and we called the company who installed it to come check it out. They quoted us at over $2k to fix. We called Accurate for a second opinion. They sent Chad out and after troubleshooting he found the actual issue and saved us nearly $1.5k!!! We first hired this company for a minor electrical problem back in late 2019, then about a year later, for a couple of A/C issues. Looking to pay too much for too little work? Looking for a salesman and not a service man? If so, Accurate is your place!!! Give them a call. This company is only focused on one thing & it's not service. The business description is almost comical. Case in point - Had GFCI outlet issues. Tech came out, did a current test on the two outlets. It involved a meter, a probe, and a light. Forest Gump could have done this in 20 minutes. They figured out the bad one (yeah!!) and replaced the GFCI outlet. Cost - $598... but wait, you're awesome, so we'll give you a discount - $493. Keep in mind that a GFCI outlet runs $10 - $20 retail. Should you dare ask for an itemized bill - don't. You'd be stupid to ask. Besides, according to Accurate "Itemized bills are so old fashioned". Funny, I bet they don't say that when they go out to eat or pay their electricity bill. :-\ We didn't learn so we called them about a second item. This was plumbing. They charged to come "diagnose" the issue but put a caveat that the item was going to need to be replaced. They came out, they charge, and yup... "You need to replace the item". No explanation, no troubleshooting. Nada. How much... "we recommend the $7,000 option. The $6,500 option isn't quite as good" ... not as good for who? The part costs $2,200 for a good model at Home Depot. But we shouldn't ask for an itemized receipt to explain the additional $4,800. Since I'm now properly educated, let me pull out my abacus and do some old fashioned math - let's assume for a moment that it will take you 8 hours to install my equipment, which is hard to say since I don't know your estimated time, and seems ridiculous since all the piping is already ran, and it would merely be disconnect and replace - $4,800 / 8 hours = comes out to $600 per hour. So, this company thinks that you should pay them more than a doctor, a lawyer, an underwater welder, or a pilot. Hmmm. Must be some really, really smart plumbers and electricians. read more

I received mail and email about a HVAC maintenance/checkup special and it was time for mine, so I tried them once again. Jacob came and renewed my impressions on Accurate. He was very professional and easy to speak with. He explained everything he was going to do and even saved me money by suggesting the annual maintenance for A/C, Heat, Plumming, and electric for just a little more than what I was going to pay for just the heat. He even went out of his way to call the office to see if I can change up my service to the plan. He was upfront and honest. I liked that. As far as safety, he was great. Had his mask on the whole time, gloves and shoe covers too. My whole family was home while he was here and I never questioned our safety. It was late afternoon on Friday and I needed electric help since my breaker was having fire spark. I talked to Paula and she quickly found Ray to come to my place to make sure things are okay. He explained what the issue was and gave me a price quote. He was not able to start the work at that time since it's a 4 hours work and it was late. He turned off the breakers and made sure I was safe for the night. He came back bright early the next morning and performed excellent work. He was very professional and answered all of my questions. I am very pleased with his work. There was a miscommunication on the invoice and I talked to Anna. She called back and straighten things up. I really like their customer service. I also have heater issue and Paula scheduled Eric to come the next day. She also told me ahead of time that she will be off that day and who I will be talking to if I needed to call back. My partner and I recently purchased our first home and when we moved in we found that the air was running but was not cool at all. It was about 100 degrees outside that day and I am seven months pregnant. Thank goddess for Accurate they got out as soon as possible and where able to find that our dry wall company had punctured one of our air lines during our bathroom remodel. It took a few visits, a few holes in our walls but they were able to find the tiny hole and the nail and repair it for us.
