Jimz electric is awesome! I had the house panel upgraded with the installation of an EV charger and Victor did an amazing job. Total construction time for the job was 2 days for the panel upgrade and 1 day for EV charger installation. Expect about 5-8 hours of no power for the main panel upgrade day. Throughout the entire process, Victor was communicative and thorough (he knows his stuff!). Victor did a great job working together with SCE and communicating on project dates/inspections/approvals. He gives great estimated times, so you won't be waiting around for hours for service. His team is also very knowledgeable and polite. They make sure to visit the front door each time prior to starting work and coming back from lunch. I loved the project work, quality and service. Thank you Jimz Electric! read more

Thanks Victor and Efrain for upgrading my electrical panel to 200A and installing a NEMA 14-50 outlet for my EV charger in my garage. The pricing and estimate was the best when I was shopping around. It took a day and a half longer than projected, but they still got it done with great quality. Def recommend them for all electrical needs! read more

Had them install a 240 V outlet for vehicle charging. They had to run the line about 70' from my breaker panel. Ran the line perfectly, up, under the eaves and even partially under the raised foundation portion of the house. They arrived when they said they would and finished quite promptly. I will definitely be calling on them in thefor any future electrical issues. read more

I recently opened a hair salon in Whittier and had Victor and Efrain work on the stand-alone double sided stations connected outlets in them and ran light from the ceiling. Also updraded new lighting throughout the salon and added dimmers to all. Then did great work and kept the white salon walls clean. Thank you. read more

Victor and his team (Efrain & Victor) are awesome! Upon moving into our new home, we found out that 1/2 our house wasn't grounded and electrical wires in the attic were a disaster! Victor & his team cleaned it all up and MORE! They were very detailed in every step of the way and I loved that they respected our furniture and belongings. The price was very reasonable and they finished the job sooner than expected. We'll miss them, but if there's any electrical work that needs to be done, we'll definitely call them back in a heartbeat! read more

Quick response when we have questions, price quotes is honest, jobs done as promised timeline and responsible for the work has done.

Victor and his team did an outstanding job upgrading my electrical panel and installing an EV charger at my home. Everything was completed exactly as promised, with great attention to detail. Jimz was very responsive and patient, answering all my questions and guiding me through the SCE panel location and permit process. He was friendly, transparent, and offered very reasonable pricing. I couldn't be happier with the results--thank you, Jimz! read more

Wonderful experience from beginning to end of the EV home installation. From the first communication, securing a quote and scheduling the work, everything was organized and timely. Victor provides very professional communication and transparent options. I installed an EV charger in my garage and every step of the process was explained with options that maximized my project. Victor's quote was competitive with others but his workmanship is top notch. Not only was Victor concerned with the quality but also the overall look of the project since it was a fairly long run to my garage from my electrical panel. I highly recommend Victor (JIMZ Electric) for your projects as he is timely, professional and easy to work with. It is obvious that Victor takes pride in his work and ensures everything is done well at the end of the project. He even followed up with a text the following day just to ensure everything was working well and the installation was completed to my satisfaction. JIMZ Electric also takes Venmo and Zelle which makes the payments easy and provided me with an invoice at the end for my records. I highly recommend JIMZ Electric for any of your electrical needs. read more

Highly recommend their services! Victor & Efren were very thorough with everything and explains to you what's needed and also make recommendations. They're very friendly and answers all your questions. Four different electricians came to quote and they gave much higher prices while Victor was able to give a fair price. They finished the job quickly and worked from 9am - 7pm and would make sure to finish the job. They also did our 70 ft 240v for EV charging and definitely satisfied. Don't bother talking to others/look for more quotes as once you speak with Victor, you're most likely getting the best price in the area. Victor did a great job. I have a rental property, so dealing with a tenant adds a level of complexity to the situation. I selected this company from Yelp to install a gfi plug at my home. I initially had 4 companies I was considering. JIMZ was selected above the rest because they were prompt in getting back to me and were informative and honest. At no time was I made to feel like I was being taken advantage or being told less than the full truth. His quote was fair and reasonable. His knowledge was obvious. Prior to my appointment, Victor contacted me and inquired about my needs. I explained to the best of my abilities and sent him pictures. He then arrived to my home with everything he needed to complete the job. I needed a gfi installed to accompany a koi pond. My home is 100 years old, so this wasn't an average task. Victor went the extra mile to get the job done correctly. He worked professionally and diligently. He installed the plug in such a way that it looks perfect. The wires are all snugly put into pvc pipes and there is no wire mess to be seen. Victor was polite and friendly. He was neat, no mess anywhere. Victor even took extra time to make sure the pond was working correctly before he left. I now can operate my koi pond safely. I will never call anyone else for anything electric! Thank you Victor, your clearly the best electrician in town! read more

Victor and Efren were great to work with. They are both very professional and do excellent work. After sending him photos of some electrical fixtures that I purchased and also photos of where I wanted to have them installed, he was able to provide us with an estimate. In my case, it was a Ring Doorbell and some interior and exterior light fixtures. On the day of the appointment, they were both punctual and finished the job. They kept the inside of my house clean and were respectful of my family. They even did one extra item that wasn't planned for. Due to it being late, we had scheduled that they come back a separate day for another installation with which we had the same experience. I highly recommend them for any electrical work. read more

I recently upgraded the panel on my house and they did such a great job. They took care of the work and permits. From the moment of their initial estimate they were polite, professional and very clear on the options I had. Their pricing is extremely fair and their quality of work is impeccable. Not even a month later I had them come back and replace 5 fixtures and install an outdoor ceiling fan. They did an amazing job, I would highly recommend their services. read more

Victor and team were timely, professional and the work he did was detailed. No shortcuts were taken and the both times he was over, stayed late into the evening until the work was done. I recently had some recessed lighting installed in three different rooms in our tri-level condo. Victor and Efrain were able to come the same day I called to provide us with a quote. I'm so glad we hired them, they did a wonderful job and they were super friendly too. read more

We hired Victor to help fix our breaker for the A/C, he let us know that our electrical panel is very old and needs to be replaced (50+ year old panel). He taught us how to get Edison planning to come to approve the location and from there we were able to schedule a day to come and upgrade the panel from a 100 amp to 200 amp keep up with the electrical demands from all our electronics and appliances. Victor and his team (Efrain & Luis) are very professional and communicative. They completed the work in a timely manner given that it was super hot and very bad air quality due to the California fires. Victor is very responsive via text or calling. He is knowledgeable and can easily articulate the problem in a way that is understandable. I learned a lot about electrical issues from him! Victor and his team are very trustworthy and honest. It is very hard to find trustworthy and honest people, but with Victor I could tell he was giving me competitive prices for the amount of work done. His team went above and beyond when it came to finishing and cleaning up. They did a through job checking to make sure everything was working before leaving. Why you should hire Victor and his team: -Great communicator and pretty responsive -They're honest, reliable and trustworthy -Competitive pricing for quality work -Professional and informative -Excellent service I highly recommend Victor for any of your electrical needs! read more

The dreaded electrician or plumber call. Victor was fair and honest in his pricing and assessment. We had an old Zinsco panel that the previous owner ran the lighting and the kitchen appliances on the same line. This caused the breaker to trip when there was excess demand. Victor diagnosed the issue back to a faulty breaker and had it replaced the same day. He even crawled up to our attic to check out the wiring done by the previous owner which of course was faulty and could potentially be a problem in the future. I will definitely be using him again to fix these issues. read more

- fast response & detail oriented - good workmanship - accommodating with time & sticks to schedule - goes beyond expectations - worth the time, money & effort I've worked with Victor and his crew for 3 different home projects now, from recessed lights to ceiling and attic fans, vent hoods, and garage sub panel install, as well as whole garage re-wiring, we trust his work and he's been able to fix everything we've asked. Thanks for all the hard work. Great job! read more

Spoke with Victor on the phone and knew right away he was the right person to call. When he arrived, I went more into detail of what happened with the electrical/power and from there he started to troubleshoot. I thought it was one thing, but Victor showed me it was something different that had the possibility of causing a major problem later in the future if it wasn't fixed (the electrician hired by the solar panel company a year ago used the wrong size wire nuts to connect the wires, which caused one of the connections to come loose, causing an outage to part of the house). Some would charge $85-100 just to diagnose the problem and then add the cost of the repair, but Victor straight up told me what the problem was and provided me with a quote. The price, I didn't hesitate one bit; he kept it real with me from the get-go and didn't try to swindle me. Definitely would recommend him to anybody. Glad to find a go to electrician when one is needed. read more

I have had a few projects done by Victor and have been very satisfied. We had a fan installed in our attic and what a difference it makes. We also had an attic light and outlet installed. Was having an issue with the property where half the home's light switches and outlets were not working. When I contacted my go-to Electrician and he was unable to come same day, I scoured Yelp to find someone to help figure out the issue.
