Accurate Edge Sharpening - Current Prices - Knife Sharpening Near Me

Brought my knives to the Cyn Cty farmer's market, and they were sharpened while I waited. Good service, fair pricing. Thanks!

I have been taking my knife, sewing shears, and grooming tools to Mike for a few years at the farmers' market. He is the only easily accessible knife sharpener in the SCV. He has done a great job. This last time he handed me back my clipper blades in a plastic bag that was slit on the bottom. One of them fell through the slit onto the pavement and a tooth broke. He offered to sell me a new one but no refund or compensation as it "can still be used safely under a guard comb". I do use this blade under guard combs but also for paws, which I can no longer safely do. I am disappointed but I will likely be going back to him as he is the only one I can reasonably access. Hopefully he sees this and checks the bags going forward. read more

Been going to Michael for years. Top class job Everytime. And reasonable cost. I bring him all my knives twice a year

Michael provides excellent sharpening. We've brought all sorts of kitchen knives to him. He did a great job on our Wusthof, Henckels, MAC and vintage types. Their edges are perfect now, making meal prep much smoother. Michael makes everything convenient for the customer. He brings his truck to the Newhall and Canyon Country farmers markets the first and third week of the month (you can confirm his current schedule by checking his website). While you explore the market, he'll sharpen your knives in a matter of minutes. His prices are fair, and you can ask him how much per knife before he sharpens them. Also, he's cheerful and a pleasure to talk to! We will continue to be repeat customers. read more

Wow - thank you. Michael rescued my favorite knives and garden snips - including a santoku with a dented blade. The blade is repaired and my faves are sharpened - good as new. It was also really convenient to take them to the CC Farmers Market - shop while they're sharpened! Thank you!! read more

Mike came and sharpened all the knives in my boss' house. The service was excellent but what REALLY impressed me was the edge that he put back on the serrated knives! I hadn't even thought about that being something he could do. Everyone who cooks in the house was really happy. Totally pro, beautiful service. And we plan to use him again! read more

What amazing customer service! Also, why did I wait so long to call?? We've had our Wusthof knives almost 10 years. With kids, everything gets busy, and "sharpen knives" moves to the bottom of the to do list. But man, oh, man. Working in the kitchen is soooo much easier now with my set sharpened. The chef knife, bread knife, paring knives, and scissors - all incredibly sharp, and with such quick service. We will not wait another 10 years to do this again! Thank you! read more

I recently bought a vintage pocket knife that was in need of sharpening so after a quick Google search I found Michael and gave him a call. He was very nice and informative and told me to drop my knife off at Bob's Country Meats and it would be done in 24 hours. Later that day I dropped off my knife and pair of old scissors as well and sure enough the next day I got a call from Michael and my knife and scissors were done! I went and picked them up and they were sharper than ever and it was very inexpensive! I highly recommend Michael to anyone that needs anything sharpened, you will not be disappointed! read more

Accurate Edge Sharpening - Knife Sharpening Near Me

I have taken my knives to Accurate Edge a couple of times now, I am very pleased on how sharp they are. I would recommend this vendor to anyone needing their chef's knives sharpened. The last time Mark was at Newhall Farmer's Market with his truck and I had 4 knives sharpened within 15 minutes. He said with the pandemic he will be there every saturday morning from 8:30 to 1:00 for your sharpening needs. Very professional and conveniant. read more

I had four pairs of delicate cuticle scissors. Michael said he could sharpen them, but that he had to use a special instrument used to sharpen surgical instruments. We agreed on the fee. I was to pick them up the following week at the Newhall Farmers Market. I am very pleased with the end results. The scissors are like new! It was a pleasure meeting Michael. He is very professional & very nice, too! read more

My rusty old gardening tools are like new. Friendly, speedy service. Reasonable prices.

I have been using Accurate Edge for my sharpening needs for years and have been very happy with the results. Michael is very precise and professional. I work at a salon in valencia and now a lot of the stylist where I work also uses him for their sharpening as well. He arrives on time and sharpens in his truck. It's so convenient. Michael came out with his truck and sharpened everything from kitchen knives to scissors to garden shears. Service was exceptional and easy!

I had my knives sharpened 3 weeks ago and I love how they turned out! I had been meaning to get them sharpened for months and I kept procrastinating getting it done. I saw the great review accurate edge Sharpening had on yelp and I had to give him a try. I even threw in an old pair of fabric scissors just in case he could get those sharpened too. The knives came back and I don't remember them ever being this sharp. It's actually a pleasure to chop vegetables now. Oh and the scissors cut through fabric like butter. I'm so happy with the quality of work and the quick turnaround. He called to say my knives were ready that very same day! read more

Spoke with owner Michael about sharpening custom knives and it was as easy as he said it would be...dropped them off on a Monday late afternoon and Tuesday morning they were ready and sharp! Thanks! read more

Over the years I've taken all kinds of knives to Michael. Everything from military and hunting knives to an axe. He took my Marine Corps issued Ka-Bar that hadn't been sharpened in 20 years and made it better than when it was new! Well today I dropped off a kitchen knife that had a broken tip. About 15 minutes later the tip was repaired as good as new! Michael never ceases to amaze me with what he is able to do! He is also very fast and responsive to phone calls and e-mail. In today's business where great customer service is hard to come by, Michael stands alone as someone who still does it the right way. I STRONGLY recommend his service! -Jon read more

Highly recommended for all your sharpening needs. I called him, left a message and was pleasantly surprised that he called back. Set up an appointment and he came just as he committed to amidst this lockdown. Fixed up my knives and scissors in no time. You can't go wrong with his service. Glad to have found him! read more

Just got 9 knives sharpened and am so upset. He literally took chunks off of every single handle (even gave them back with chunks wrapped up with them) and took sooo much off every blade. At the base you can see how much wider the blade used to be. The serrations on my serrated knives are nubs now. I'm having to sand all the handles they're so jacked up. The lives of my smooth blades have been greatly diminished he took so much off and the serrated ones basically need to be replaced now. I was so excited to get them "professionally" sharpened too. Total nightmare. Really wish I could go back in time and not let him touch them. Spent money to sharpen that instead ruined my knives and now have to spend even more money to replace them. So, so, bummed. read more

Talk about the sharpest knife in the drawer. They do the finest knife sharpening and very quickly I might add.

Great mobile service. My knives are sooooooo sharp. Fast service too and very reasonable prices.

In settling my father's estate, I acquired some old knives that where very dull. I found Michael and Accurate Edge online and contacted him. He quickly got back to me with a quote. The service was very fast and the knives look great, and work amazing. Thanks to Michael I now have something from my father that I use on a daily basis. If you need your knives sharpened this is the place to go. Period. read more

Michael did a great job, but pretty pricey, charged $15 to sharpen my Japanese shun knife. BummeR

Quick turn around. After I dropped my scissors off at the Deli, Michael had them ready the next day. However, I questioned if he sharpened them because they were so dull. read more

Our kitchen knives were in need of sharpening, so I did an Internet search and found Accurate Edge Sharpening. I dropped my knives off at Bob's Country Market and the next day the knives were ready. I had expected to pay about $100 since I had 9 knives and 1 meat cleaver. However, when I went to pay the bill, the final cost was just a littler over $50! For me it was a bargain. From now on I know where I will get my knives sharpened. Michael's price was reasonable, fair and he did an excellent job sharpening! What a difference when you have sharp knives to help prepare your food! I would not hesitate to recommend Accurate Edge Sharping and Michael. He's the best! read more

SUPER!!! Mike sharpened my Chef knife in a few minutes for a Commercial audition I had later on that day!! He also showed me some other knives he had available for rental and purchase. (It was a stunt involving some Ninja Chef stuff) Well I didn't miss one take on the audition thanks to the fine job he did on my Chefs knife!!! If I get the spot I will hope the producers hire him to be on set to sharpen and have the other knifes available for the stunt as well!! read more

Michael is AMAZING! One of the nicest guys I've EVER met and seems to really care about his customers! I live about 30 mins from him and needed my hair cutting shears sharpened SO badly, but things kept coming up and I was unable to get to him. He continuously called me to let me know where he would be and tried to make it as easy as possible for me to get to him, the fact that he is mobile is a huge plus in my book! He did an INCREDIBLE job on my shears and was SO knowledgable! He asked what type of cutting I did so he could adjust them to my needs. His prices are so so reasonable and you get quality work! I took a stack of his business cards and will pass them out to all of my stylist friends. Thank you, Mike for the amazing customer service and quality work! read more
