Jeff was amazing! This is the 2nd time I've used Pro Sharp for knife sharpening, and the quality of his work is outstanding. I brought him a mix of kitchen and pocket knives, and they all came back with edges that feel even better than brand new. Jeff was available, quick to respond, and delivered incredible value for the level of craftsmanship provided. Top-tier service from start to finish. I'll definitely keep coming back! read more

Had 2 Japanese knives- one had a chip and the other was bent! I was agonizing over having to send them out to the manufacturer to get fixed, but luckily I found Pro Sharp!! He was quick, very communicative and the knives are back to their original quality. Well worth the price and more! Thank you so much! read more

Jeff was very polite and accommodating in getting me in the same day. I had 2 chef knives sharpened and OMG! They are better than new. I purchased a Mercer 8 inch chef knife a week ago and I wish I had taken it to Jeff to sharpen despite only being a week old. I'll definitely be using his services again. Do yourself a favor, stop struggling with dull knives and have him take care of them. read more

I had an excellent experience with Pro Sharp! Jeff was professional, friendly, and clearly takes pride in his work. Jeff was incredibly efficient and pleasant to deal with. Did a great job highly recommend.

We used his services at the Joan store (soon to be closed) at Tapo street . My scissors weren't oiled or cleaned , i even opted out of not having my garden shears sharpened due to the cost as they were rusty , i found it cheaper to buy them new . i would have gladly paid more for the cleaning service had he told me it was not included . In the past other vendors knives or scissors sharpened included cleaning /oiling . I have a very old pair that was my grandmothers dress making scissors and i did t notice any more cutting power on these but they also still need a cleaning so i'm sure that's hindering the sharpening ability & cutting power . My friend had a bunch of kitchen knives sharpened and she was very satisfied with the work of her knives . Perhaps I expected too much and it seems that knives are his specialty - not hand tools . I gave him 5 stars as the service was on time and my friend was 100% satisfied . My expectations were different . read more

The address listed here and on google search is misleading. It's a residential house located deep in a residential area. I drove all the way there, but nobody answered the door or phone. They do put a sign of "Pro Sharp" by the house. read more

Did an amazing job , my knives are as if they are brand new from the factory . Jeff knows his stuff !

Sent clipper blade by mail and received it back promptly. Haven't tested it for sharpness yet. Price was fair and communication excellent.

I called Jeff ahead to confirm his availability and to confirm that he was familiar with sharpening hair scissors. I arrived at the time we set up and Jeff was there waiting for my sister and I. My sister explained what she needed and she agreed to the price Jeff quoted. She and I went to get coffee and drove back in 30 minutes. When we arrived, the job was already completed. Both pairs of scissors are producing a safe & clean cut now. The price was reasonable and the advice was free. Jeff was friendly and very informative. Consumers often just assume that when a knife or tool is dull, it's a simple job to sharpen it. Other things come into play: are their any knicks in the blade? What material is the blade made from? How is the tool being used? Is the tool rusty - does it need cleaning or oiling? You can't compare one customer's pricing with another customer's pricing - it all depends on the type of blade, how it is being used and the current condition of the blade. When you can take the time to have a blade-master explain all of this to you, you'll better understand the cost and options to restore it to how you want to use it, and you, the customer, can choose the service you want. read more

Jeff was a pleasure to interact with, and he does great work at an excellent value. When I initially reached out, he was out of town but got back to me within minutes of my call. Later the same week, I arrived at his home at a time we had discussed. The knife sharpening was fast, and he worked his magic while I waited, super convenient for me which I really appreciated. Our standard workhorse kitchen knife is now better than brand new - I don't think it's ever been this sharp. As they say a sharp knife is a safe knife, and I put it to the test the same afternoon, cutting vegetables, cheese, and hard salami for a salad. Worked amazingly. Thank you, Jeff. In chatting with him, I learned he also does Japanese knives too, we will be coming here for all our knife sharpening needs. read more

I've never had my knives professionally sharpened and found Jeff on Yelp. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what he does and it reflects in the finished product. I dropped off my knives and in less than 2 hours all eleven were completed including one that had a missing tip, which he added one on! Knives are super sharp and he even had a pair of scissors I had wanted, that he sold me.
