I love to cook and my knives were just getting too dull. I found Jeff on Yelp and the reviewers could not have been more accurate. This is a friendly gentleman who loves knives. I made an appointment and he was waiting for me. He invited me into his trailer to watch him work and I got an education as well as really sharp knives. He used a 5 step process to put an edge in each knife that was better than when I bought them. Pedro Espinoza were extremely reasonable and I was done in less than 30 minutes. This is my guy for knives from now on!!! read more

I have used Jeff's services at Pro Sharp for several years, with extraordinary results! Aging JA Henkels knives have been restored and rejuvenated with his care and attention. Shortly before Thanksgiving, I dropped off nine knives. Once home, upon opening the bag after they were sharpened, I discovered there were only eight. I emailed Jeff, and explained the situation. He told me to replace the knife, and he would reimburse me .... which he promptly did! Great knife service, and customer service! I highly recommend Pro Sharp! Jeff, thank you!!!! read more

I am extremely happy with the results from this business. My knives are sharper than they have ever been. The first time I used Pro Sharp I only did a few knives to try the service. I called on a Friday evening expecting to leave a message or not get an answer. Instead, the phone picks up and Jeff actually answered. I was able to make arrangements to come by on Saturday even. The price is very fair and he sharpened my knives while I waited. I have some that were sharpened several months ago and still have a better edge on them than when I bought them. I thoroughly recommend this business. Five stars all the way. Great customer service. read more

Right before pushing off on a big deployment, Jeff is the only person I'd let touch my combat knife. It's now razor sharp and ready to go. His excellent work speaks for itself; I give him my highest possible recommendation. It will be done right, the first time. read more

Jeff was super helpful and had an apt available at his home for me. I had 4 knifes with one that that many chips in the blade. I waited for the knifes that were done quickly and efficiently. Now I am super excited to use these where as before I was sawing through onions instead of slicing them. 5 stars to this business. read more

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND OUTSTANDING QUALITY OF WORK. We were looking for a place to get our knives sharpened during the "Stay At Home" orders. Every place we contacted was closed. We stumbled onto Jeff's website & called his phone number. He answered his phone on a Sunday afternoon and we got very lucky. Our knives were sharpened that day and we couldn't be happier :) Thanks, Jeff - GREAT JOB! read more

Fantastic quality service. Great for industrial and edc knives that have seen lots of use.

My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting Jeff and taking advantage of his mobile service this past week. We had been hoping to find someone local (Simi Valley) to sharpen our knives and scissors. When I happened on the Pro Sharp website I knew we had found our man. I phoned Jeff and he told me he would be able to come to our house that afternoon. When he got to our place we assembled a collection of knives and scissors which I thought Jeff was going to take back to his shop and return at a later time. Well, I was mistaken. He said he was going to sharpen them in his truck and would be back in a short time. All of the cutlery Jeff sharpened were restored to factory sharpness -- and more. I have a favorite small serrated knife that was returned to a level of sharpness I hadn't realized it was capable of. I now have to be much more careful with these razor sharp implements. Jeff's company is aptly named: Pro Sharp. The name says it all. read more

I ordered the Pro Sharp Knife last December 10,2019. The order # is 1882. They took my money at once. Here it is October 18, 2020 and I have NOT received my knife. When I emailed them the first time I was told Sorry we are back ordered and it will be shipped soon. End of January comes around and no knife. I email again and was told it was due to the China issue but they would send it soon. March comes around and I email again and was told I would receive a credit and they are sorry, they never gave the credit nor would they refund my money and I still have no knife. They are in shut down with the Covid-19. Funny because they were posting on Facebook they had product and could ship right away. Here it is October 18, 2020 and NO knife and NO refund of my money. The good thing for me is I have every EMAIL saved. I have never delt with a more corrupt company who lies and steals. SHAME on Pro Sharp Knife your a disgusting company. Kelly Seolas read more

Jeff, sharpened my knives yesterday at my home (I am wheelchair bound) to the sharpest edges I have had in years. If one were to look up the noun Artisan it would state: a person in a skilled trade, especially one that involves making things by hand. Jeff is a great example of the American independent entrepreneur and artisan that has developed a specialized skill warranting a successful business. If you need a blade of any sort sharpened and honed to perfection Prosharp is where you should go. read more

Jeff runs his business out of his home but will also come to you. He is also currently running an offer per his website for 20% off if you meet him (check his website too) and accepts cash or check only. Another thing: he does visit the Oxnard JoAnne Fabrics on a regular basis in case that is closer. The prices were great and I was pleased he was able to do pinking shears. Everything is so much sharper and more usable now!! He's very good with customer service as well and directed us to a nearby mall for a cup of coffee while we waited, since we had 6 pairs of sizzors to be sharpened (short wait time in my opinion). read more

Jeff came to my house to sharpen my Henkel knives, scissors, nippers, pruners and various cutlery. What a wonderful service. It had been years since I had these sharpened, they were basically worthless. Jeff probably saved my hundreds of dollars had I gone out and bought new. Thanks Jeff, see you next time! read more

Just left the Pro Sharp truck at JoAnn Fabrics at Simi Valley. I am so happy with the quality and turn around time. Jeff was able to return my two EDC knives in 20mins! I personally failed and ruined a knife or two trying to sharpen on my own. I'm glad I found Pro Sharp. I will definitely be using this service again. read more

I tried to slice a tomato yesterday. It didn't go well. I realized the kitchen knives were finally dull. They were high quality JA Henkels and have been around for two years. I reached out to Pro Sharp and Jeff's response was fast. I dropped them off after a quick phone call and within 2 hours they were ready. The price was extremely reasonable. In addition to the Henkels, I brought 3 Victorinox, 2 folding, 1 Ka-Bar, 1 large hunting knife, several serrated steak knives and my wife's scissors. Everything came back sharp like a razor. I was so happy with the service, the response, the work and the price, I will be keeping everything sharp from now on. I give Pro Sharp a great recommendation. There is no reason to try to smash though a tomato any longer. Just to check, after washing everything with soapy water to get rid of any metal residue, I thin sliced a tomato... like a hot knife through butter! Thanks Pro-Sharp! read more

Jeff is an absolute doll. He follows up and comes on time. He's very experienced. He offers amazing advice. I love the fact that he comes to my house and I don't have to take all my knives out of my house. He's been doing this for years. So happy I met him. read more

Jeff was not only an expert sharpener, he was one of the kindest and most considerate entrepreneurs I have ever met. For an extremely reasonable price, Jeff sharpened my kitchen knives and scissors in about 20 minutes. He worked with me to find a time and place to get the job done...it seemed to me he went above and beyond in terms of service. I couldn't be happier! And my knives work fabulously now! I get my knives sharpened a few times a year at a cookware store and have not been very happy with the outcome. Jeff sharpened all of my kitchen knives as well as my gardening tools including my lawn mower blade. I used the house call service. All of my knives were razor sharp with a great edge. I think my gardening tools are sharper now than when I bought them! He quickly returned my call when I initially contacted him and texted me to confirm our appointment. He was pleasant and very professional. The cost was reasonable and he worked quickly. I liked the house call for the amount of items I needed sharpened. I asked about the lawn mower blade when he arrived and he took the blade off and reassembled it for me afterwards. I highly recommend Jeff and Prosharp and will definitely continue to get my knives sharpened by him in the future. read more
