I met Accurate Alignment Services sort of second hand by their partnership with San Diego Motoring, only minutes away. My first use of their services was for alignment for new tires on our 3 autos from www/sd.motoring.com. Since then, we've had new tires and front-end alignment for our daughter's car as well - all great service from both companies! Recently that "daughter auto" was afflicted with a dead battery, leaving me puzzled how you navigate this sort of issue. I called Scot at Accurate Alignment simply trying to put together a plan of action. Not being familiar with the whole towing process, Scot's guidance was welcome in getting the car to his shop to move toward repairs. I hadn't looked to Scot's team as being able to also provide other "SERVICES" as their name suggests. With his help we had the car in his shop, and out with a new battery by 4:30 same day! The price was less than the dealership as well. Quick and easy check in when you get there with friendly staff and a nice area to wait while the work is done. While there, they investigated a concerning noise my car made when bringing it back around after the alignment and luckily it turned out to be a minor issue they fixed in a few minutes. I had a problem with the motor (the LDU-large drive unit) for my Tesla Model S, which required to have the motor dropped, a coolant bypass from www.revoltsystems.com, and to have Accurate Alignments to perform an alignment afterward. Although I live in Hollywood and Huntington Beach, I decided to drive over an hour south to Oceanside to have the work performed by Accurate Alignments (and the motor work by another related mechanic). I saw the great reviews for this place so gave them a call. My regular shop noticed one of my struts leaking, but downplayed the importance of this and giving me a quote for 2 struts that was really expensive. I called a couple of other places but Accurate Alignment beat the other quotes by a lot! Their quote for all 4 was not that much more than my shop's quote for 2!! They also used quality Bilstien struts which was great. I dropped it off the night before and it was done the next day- no additional up-sales or charges! They also noticed a weird sound and identified it as a loose fuel filter that was hitting the side so they took care of that for no extra charge. I took my van to accurate alignment after having four new tires put on. I was told it needed a laundry list of things to be repaired before it could be aligned. It always drove well, but had tire wear on the outside of the tire, so that's why I wanted the alignment. I jacked it up and tried shaking the tires, everything feels tight. Accurate Alignments have done two of my vehicles now, and knocked it out of the park with both of them! I brought in my 1965 Ford Falcon with modified suspension, and had them set it up to specific specifications for my setup and tires instead of the factory specs. It's so refreshing to find a shop that knows what they're doing, and can set my car up how I want, instead of just blindly following a computer. They also did my little daily driver 1995 Toyota Pickup with factory suspension. It feels great, and is more stable then ever on the freeway. Their service is great, and though you might pay a little more than a quick alignment at a tire shop, I think the price is very reasonable for the high quality of work. Had my car (Lexus GS 350 F) aligned with Accurate Alignments today. They did a fantastic job! First, I called Accurate Alignments for an appointment and left a voicemail. I received a call back a very short amount of time later. They booked an appointment for me within a week. Today, I arrived for my 8:30 am appointment and was greeted as I walked through the door. They were expecting me. They took my keys and got to work on my alignment. My car was seriously out of alignment. The work was completed. AA showed me exactly where my car was out of alignment as well as the corrections that we performed. I was in the road a few minutes after the job was completed. I requested an estimate late at night here on Yelp and Brooke got back to me right away... I didn't expect that. I made an appointment for 8 days later because not only was the price very reasonable, but after reading the reviews, I didn't want anyone else touching my car. I'm glad I waited; my car was a pleasure to drive after getting it back, and they redid the alignment again free of charge the following week after having some work done that they'd recommended. The mechanic was very thorough and not only made recommendations based on wear and tear he visually noted, but he drove the car long enough to realize my brand new axle was faulty and needed to be replaced. They said they did the alignment the 1st time, despite knowing I'd need it again right away, because it was so out of alignment that they didn't want me to ruin my tires. I'm very impressed. So my car was making a front end noise and I went to two previous auto shops in Oceanside. The first auto shop gave me a quote for 1400 to replace both struts and both ball joints, second auto shop told me it was my CV axle and quoted me 800 to repair. I was confused how could two shops tell me different things, the only thing I was sure of was that I was screwed and this was going to cost me a pretty penny. I messaged Accurate Alignments and Service and they were able to get me in a few days later, I asked for a diagnostic and I explained that I was unemployed and had very little money (the stimulus check was how I planned to pay for repairs) the shop told me they would give me a break on their diagnostic fee from 105 to 55. I was excited and eager to find out for once and for all what was wrong with my car. After about 20min in the waiting room the mechanic came out and said that he tightened a bolt and that he couldn't find anything else wrong with my car. I was shocked and a little confused, Brooke the owner/manager handed me my keys and said take it for a drive. I was confused again because I had not paid for the diagnostic, I told her I would be back to pay for their services.. her answer: You don't need to come back unless the noise is still there and I am not going to charge you for the diagnostic or repair!!!! I was beyond speechless this was the first shop that didn't give me a huge quote and on top of that didnt even charge me a penny... AAS will be my go to shop for all my needs in the future, honesty is something hard to find these days and generosity is even harder to find. I was having some issues with the steering. I suspected it might be the front air locker was engaging but not sure. After explaining the issue I got the vehicle in without delay. When I checked in the folks at the front were super friendly. They listened to what I had to say and what I suspected it could be. The next day I got a call back that they had diagnosed it and what I suspected was the cause. When I asked them to complete the work parts were ordered and in less than two days time the vehicle was ready to go. When I went in to pick up the vehicle everything was explained to me as far as what they had to do. They also did a complete inspection of my suspension and driveline to check for any potential issues. The bill for all of the work was very reasonable. I had the pleasure of having my alignment done at Accurate Alignments yesterday. I could tell they were VERY busy but still they made time for me. I've been needing an alignment for a while and had clipped a few coupons to other local shops but when consulting my Dad (my lifetime mechanic who recently moved out of state) he spoke nothing but praise for this shop and urged that I take it no where else. My Dad is often critical of people's work as he pays extreme attention to detail (to the point of OCD) and appreciates a job done right. Such high praise from him is something earned--not given, so right off the bat I knew that Accurate Alignments was a shop that I could trust. They proved that. They took the time and care to explain exactly what they'd done to my car in terms that made sense to me. My car hasn't handled so nicely as long as I've had it. Every single employee was kind, cordial and informative. They even helped entertain my 3 year old son who was nearing nap time and becoming rambunctious. It's clear that these people take pride in their work and their customers. Not once did I feel like they were trying up sell me or rip me off as many shops do.
