I made my appointment for the wrong location. I showed up and they were still able to help with my tire situation and get me out in a timely manner. The staff was phenomenal and accommodating. Six out of five stars! read more

We were recently at nearby hotel and as we drove off, we saw a maintenance light on the dash of our newly purchased 2018 Prius Prime. It was a very sobering event that happened after a very nice vacation. We looked for the nearest tire shop and found Discount Tires. What a blessing!! Diego met us with a huge grin. We explained that we didnt know what the issue was. He was happy to check out all four tires to help us diagnose the issue. After doing so, he was unsure about what the problem was but noticed that one of the tires had really low pressure. He conducted another diagnostic using a different tool and found a small piece of metal as the culprit of the puncture. He quickly helped us solution the issue by offering a used tire that was more affordable. I inquired about the cost of a brand new tire to avoid uneven wear on the vehicle and Diego easily transitioned us over to a rep, Joseph, inside the store who completed the transaction. Diego's friendly disposition and positivity helped to make a stressful situation all the better. He was so kind, so helpful, so respectful and an absolute professional. Diego might deserve a raise!!! Thank you to Discount Tires Oceanside, Diego and all the staff who ensured our safety back home to LA. We are so appreciative! Diego, we are so thankful for the excellent customer service you provided!! read more

I had a great experience with Diego and Christopher at Discount Tire in Oceanside. They did an excellent job helping me get my tire patched in a timely manner, and both were very professional, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire process. They took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I understood everything before I left. I really appreciate the great customer service and the way they treated me. I'll definitely be giving my business to Discount Tire in Oceanside in the future. Thanks again, Diego and Christopher, for taking care of me! read more

On Saturday, September 6, 2025, at around 3 PM, I came into this location after a stressful and dangerous incident where my tire was punctured on I-5 North and went flat. Instead of empathy or support, I was immediately cut off by the sales rep (older, heavyset Hispanic gentleman) who aggressively launched into a sales pitch about buying new tires and supposed "burn out" damage. He didn't even acknowledge what I had to say. That kind of behavior, at a moment when a customer is already shaken, feels like nothing but greed and dishonesty. I've been to Discount Tire locations across the country and have always trusted and recommended them even this store in the past. I've come here both in uniform and out as a military service member and never experienced anything like this. But after today, this location is officially off my recommendation list. Customers deserve honesty, respect, and compassion especially in urgent situations. What I received here was the opposite. I even came to visit no only for a flat tire but to purchase new tires for my other vehicle. No cost can undue my experience. read more

Fast friendly service. Competitive prices. Free rotations if you get your tires here. Waiting area is clean. But they play county music! Not a fan but, oh well! Great spot for tires and air. read more

Discount Tire - Waiting Area - Tires Near Me - Oceanside, California

We have had several services in the past from this location Discount Tire. Always an excellent experience. They recently installed new front tires on My wife's BMW X1. We stopped by today because one of the rear tires was losing about 10 pounds of tire pressure every 3 or 4 days. We went to the shop without an appointment and Joseph met us first. He said that if we could wait for about an hour he could get the car in the shop to find out what was going on. Forty five minutes later Jorge was working on the car and checking on the leak. Almost an hour to the minute Simon came to give us the keys and texted us an invoice. NO CHARGE. We were really surprised. I can't say enough good things about these guys. Joesph, Jorge, and Simon, THANK YOU. read more

Came here by accident as I meant to book the place down the road for a tire rotation. I had an appointment and was taken care of right away. Even though I had not purchased my tires here, they rotated my tires for free. That was kind. I didn't do the balance because it would have been an extra $20/tire. I was in and out of there in about 10-15 minutes. They will also check your tire pressure for free and told me that if I ever had a flat they would also repair for free as long as the tire is patch-able. I'll definitely be back. read more

I can't say enough good things about Discount Tire. I come back here for flat tires, nails in tires and to purchase new sets of tires , twice for my car. And every single time is truly good customer experience. Most recently, they fixed my tire and handled a tire rotation, and like always, the service was fast, smooth, and done right. No hassle, no pressure--just solid, reliable work. Shoutout to Sean -- if you want world class customer service, he's your guy. He's knowledgeable, honest, and makes sure you're taken care of every step of the way. Honestly, this is the only Discount Tire I'll ever come to--anywhere else would just be a letdown. read more

Came here to replace my two front tires after a flat. Ordered online and someone called me from the store to let me know my tires were in and that I could come at any time. Drove in around noon and Christopher helped me out. New tires were put on and I was out of there in less than 40 mins. Everyone was attentive and friendly. The waiting area is nice and clean. I was planning on going to Better Buzz that is directly across the street, but they were too fast! Highly recommend! read more

**Beware of this location***Terrible attitude from an employee...this guy needs training in customer service. I had an appointment to rotate my tires and check air pressure. Told the guy I need my tires rotated and my check tire light came on so probably one of the tires needs some air. He immediately asked what year is your car? I said 2017. He said when did the light come on, I said Wednesday but I knew I need rotation so i figured I'd have it done all at once (Saturday) He goes on to say (with an attitude) well with the age of your car the sensor is probably bad. Why would my sensor be bad??? It's doing what it's supposed to do..alert when tire pressure is low. Then he takes my key, takes pics of my car. Comes back in and asks if I had my wheel lock key. I said it's on the center console. I talked to "one of the managers " as he described himself and explained my concerns to him about this particular employee. He just said "oh I'm sorry"but did nothing. When the rude guy came back in, I had made my decision that I was not comfortable there so I asked for my key and wheel locks back. He said "why?" I said "because of your attitude " he said " I don't have no attitude " I walked out. Just because I'm a woman you cannot treat me like I'm stupid. My father was a mechanic. I know more than you think. There are plenty of other places I can go. You just lost a loyal customer. I had bought several sets of tires for me and my kids' cars. Never again. read more

Shout out to Zachary who greeted my new driver with a smile at 5:55 pm. She just bought her first car one week ago and my husband and I were teaching her to have her tires checked at Discount Tire. I went in with two bad tires. I could only afford the price to replace one. The attendant was kind enough to talk with the man to see if you could get me some help the second tire and I ended up paying the same price two as I was quoted for one. I certainly did not expect a two for one deal. I'm retired and I have to drive UBER in the same car to make ends meet so so to say I was exalted is an understatement. I've had nothing but good fortune with discount tire in the past, but this went above and beyond! Oh, and did I mention that I had a slow leak in one of my other tires? They checked it out, found a screw embedded and removed it and I assume plugged it for no charge. I try to live my life by Goodwill and doing kind things for others expecting nothing in Return, but this was a great example of how business should be done regardless of the discount I received thank you to the crew at discount tires Oceanside. Respectfully, William C. read more

I just got back from a long drive. I usually don't drive more than ten minutes from my home, and I was due for tires. Still, it hits pretty hard when you need to buy all four tires at once , but Will (I believe that was his name), was very patient with me by answering all my questions. He was also concerned about my safety and he made sure he was getting me the best tire option. I think the whole service team did a great job too of getting it done in spectacular time, and it was smooth sailing on my way back to training. Thank you, the whole team did a A+ job. read more

Discount Tire - My tire before being replaced - Tires Near Me - Oceanside, California

I've been going to discount tire for a gazillion years since I started driving. They constantly have the best prices and service on tires that can't be beat. Upon entering, you're always greeted with a "welcome" or "hello". If they're busy, they'll add, "Thank you for your patience, we'll be with you soon". Those types of comments are awesome. Not just because it's said, but because they look at you in the eyes and say it. Soooo many companies are welcoming customers as they walk in the door, but they never look at you as they say it. Rather the employees keep doing whatever they're doing and blurt out, "welcome" as they hear the door chime signaling the door opening and someone entering the establishment. Today I was helped out by Junior, the manager. He looked anything but "junior"! Took care of me in a personal manner and presented various options as opposed to just the most expensive. I greatly appreciated that as I'm on a super strict budget these days with the current world wide shutdown due to Covid-19. Always get the damage certificate when getting new tires here. Yes, it increases your out there door cost, but should a tire blow out or be damaged in a way they can't patch it up and it requires a new tire, the replacement is FREE! Also, free tire rotations. Free air checks. Don't forget to show your AAA card for an additional discount. Funny when I see ads for another local shop saying "We beat discount tire". If they have to say that, you know you're doing a great job! Keep on Yelp'n! read more

Discount Tire - The work bays in action - Tires Near Me - Oceanside, California

I had two rear tires replaced today at Discount Tire and couldn't be happier with the experience. I paid $513 for two Goodyear Tesla tires with a warranty, which felt like a great deal compared to the $860 I spent on two front tires at American Tire. They also moved my performance tires to the rear, which was a nice touch and better than what I would've had otherwise. Their tire knowledge and effort really stood out. On top of that, they finished the job in under 20 minutes! Definitely earned my seal of approval . read more

My husband asked me to write this review for Discount Tires after the experience he had this week when he took his Toyota Sequoia in for a new set of tires. He has been a customer of Discount Tires for many years and has always been very pleased with the service and quality. This visit to the store was particularly positive because of the excellent customer service provided by the Manager, Guillermo "Memo". We have known Guillermo for 20 + years and his expertise and knowledge of tires is extensive. He always takes the time to help choose the right tires for our vehicles based on how much we drive and the kind of driving my husband does. His attention to detail in describing the pros and cons of various tires, price, and the warranty information is always appreciated. He takes pride in his job and personally checked our car before it left the shop. He is the kind of employee that any company would be fortunate to have as a member of its team and we certainly know that the tires we bought will serve us well for many miles of travel. Ask for Guillermo when you go to this Discount Tire shop and you will be very satisfied with your experience from the moment you walk in until you drive off on your new set of wheels! read more

I scheduled an appt and brought my car in as one of my tires had a nail in it and needed to get it fixed. The intake went smoothly. They fixed the tire and aired up all of the other tires. I was on my way in a timely manner. The problem is that they over inflated my tires. My sensors reported that the back tires were filled to 47 PSI and the front tires to 40 PSI. That was the highest I had ever seen indicated. So I looked up the recommended tire pressure for this model and it's 32 PSI for ALL four tires. The max pressure on a warm day should never be greater than 40! Yikes, that's a serious mistake and could've damage my very expensive tires. Please be more careful and train your people to look up the recommended tire pressure NOT the Max PSI. read more
