The Discount Tire on El Camino Real has been my go-to location for both my Tesla and Toyota Corolla, and they have never let me down. Every visit has been quick, professional, and stress-free. The team is always friendly, acknowledges customers right away, and keeps me updated throughout the process. I really appreciate their honesty and the fact that they never try to upsell unnecessary services. Whether it's checking tire pressure, repairing a tire, or replacing a full set, they always treat my vehicles with care and get me back on the road as quickly as possible. Great customer service can be hard to find, and this team consistently delivers. Discount Tire - Michelin defender 2 - Tires Near Me - Oceanside, California

I cannot say enough good about this location of Discount Tire. Soecifically Sione and Alfonso. I have gone to 3 other auto maintinece places in the last 6 months and each one was scummier and scammier than the last. But not this place. Sione and his team were all respectful, professional, quick, and helpful. When I found out the condition of one of my tires was unable to be patched and needed to be replaced, Sione worked with me to find the best options for my safety, condition of my car, as well as my wallet. It has been unbelievably hot today and yet the men in the garage as well as the lobby are still kind and willing to be helpful. I will be coming back to this location for any of my tire needs. Thank you again. read more

I just noticed a screw in the tire of my brand new car. I wasn't sure what to do and who to call. I had some experience from the past with Discount Tire in Oceanside, so I gave them a call to see if they still take more appoitments and sure enough Tristan answered the call and invited me in. I was extremely happy with the way he responded to my call and how wonderful and customer service friendly he was. Absolutely happy with how fast they pulled the screw out and got me back on the road. Kudos to Tristan and his excellent team. read more

Awesome experience! I freaking love Discount Tire. I have been a loyal customer for many years. The best service and always a sense of trust when I come. I love that almost any location I've been to, it's a very consistent experience. They always take great care of me. Best of the best. I always recommend Discount Tire to anyone who is looking. They only do tires and wipers if you are in need. They don't push anything, which is one of the many things I like. They might make recommendations, but it's not aggressive. I came in to check for a nail and discovered I needed a rotation too, all free if you buy your tires here, and you should! They also have coffee and water at this location. The coffee was great and strong too. Super clean and well maintained bathroom. Everything you could hope for in a place you are going to chill for a little bit of time. Their tires are decently priced, but the super duper value is the customer service and tire support services after you buy. They are nationwide and the service and guarantee follows you. You aren't tied to any specific location. read more

I've been a customer of discount tire for a while but in a different state . This was my 1st time here since we moved and I was pleasantly surprised at the customer service I received . I walked in and Isaias (hopefully correct spelling ) helped me right away and I explained what I needed looked at . I knew I needed new tires but he didn't push , he just said start thinking about it soon. I didn't come here expecting to get new tires but after seeing how nice he was and going through options I decided to just get the 4 and save me a trip back . He was awesome and very thorough . All of the guys in the office were very nice and they had me out of there in the time I expected . I am glad I have found my go to shop and will be a customer for a long time to come . Thanks guys ! read more

I called to make an appointment Monday morning since I would be in the area. I was told to just come on in. So I did. The parking lot was full. I drove and parked off to the side of the building. There was a line when I walked in and the counters were full, but there was a gentleman taking people's name and phone number. After he entered my name and number, he instructed me to take a seat and someone would call me shortly. Quite a bit of time had passed so I went up to the counter to see how much longer would it be. I was told it would be another hour, that if I had made an appointment, it would have saved me an hour. I told him that's what I tried to do earlier but was told to just come in. I told them that I can't waste more time than I already did today. He gave me his business card and name for next time. I'll have to take care of this another day, but I'll insist on scheduling an appointment at the location closer to my home. read more

I had to get tires for my vehicle. I ordered them online and also scheduled an appointment to have them put on my car. They have a VIP parking spot if you schedule ahead of time. They were very quick to put the tires on and perform an alignment. They do a price match so it's a great value for your money. read more

Bought 4 new tires for my Altima a couple of weeks ago and 2 new tires for me Sienna along with an alignment from these guys a couple of days ago. Front left tire on my Altima picked up a nail a couple days ago. I used a temporary plug to get home. Returned to them with Altima today for permanent patch. They gave me the old corporate policy of " if you patched it, we can't fix it" and tried to SELL me another tire. I took it to an independent local tire shop who fixed it while I waited for $25. Hope it was worth it fellas!! You just lost a customer for life. read more

We've always bought tires at Costco because of the free installation. But I wanted BFG KO3s for my Tacoma Off-road & they were unavailable at Costco unless special ordered. Discount Tire had them in stock, I made an appointment for 8am the next day. It was done by 8:30. They even installed spline wheel locks for me since I couldn't price match after paying online. Moral is: if you want to price match or use a coupon, don't prepay online. It was worth it to me cause the KO3s in my size sell out fast. I needed them for an upcoming trip so their quick professional service was worth it. read more

This Discount Tire location was excellent! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! From the moment is was greeted at the counter by Thomas, to getting the key to my car after the competition of service I had amazing customer service and felt comfortable and supported by knowledge and honest staff! I researched prices and items before I came in and was stoked to see the tires recommended were one of the two I was looking at online. The service was super speedy! I was quoted about 1 1/2- 2 hours and my car was done in 45 minutes! The text link to monitor progress was really cool! I was really impressed all around with this location! Thank you Thomas and team for taking great care of me! read more

Every time I come here these guys are working hard. This morning they got me in right away to get a new tire because of this bad boy. Yikes! I mean does anyone WANT new tires? No. But when you have to do it, this is always my go to place. read more

I really shouldn't admit how long I've been coming to this Discount Tire lol but let's just say I am now on my 4th vehicle and still have an amazing experience every time I go into this store. The workers are knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Getting an appointment is so easy to do online! An incredible value for quality tires service and now they also do alignments. I'm very satisfied with all the years. I've been going here and all the different services. I've recommended Discount Tire to family members, friends and clients of mine and everyone has been satisfied as well! Also, because it was a hot day today I waited in the waiting area. It was nice with air-conditioning-very clean and there were snacks and drinks provided if you wanted to have some. I would also like to mention that they do quality work and a great amount of time. I never wait more than 45 minutes or so. DT is a valuable resource in the community when it comes to all my cars Tire needs :) read more

My back left tire on the Land Cruiser was low -went to get a tire pressure check. Just want to say DT has always been good to us over the years but this time Ruben at the El Camino Real location went above and beyond to get me taken care of. Long story short Ruben & the team made me feel like family. i had a fairly large piece of scrap metal in it. Thankful it was found and thankful i didn't have to buy a new tire :) in a turn around time of less than few hours it was patched up and repaired. Shout out to Cody for giving me a call as soon as it was repaired :) with it so busy -pretty dang impressive especially when you're not a paying customer.Thank you DT!! -high five from the Little Girl with the Big white truck who had a broken foot!! lol :D 5 stars highly recommend.***** read more

Discount Tire - scary!! - Tires Near Me - Oceanside, California

I wouldn't go anywhere else! Showed up this morning with car in tow and Diego ( both) were so great to work with. I needed two tires replaced and an alignment. So glad I had tire insurance so the bill was way less than I was preparing for. Always easy, always quick and I love this location as I can always walk to nearby places from Dennys to Starbucks to target to name a few. My tire was so bad I wasn't going to make it home and I stopped by this discount tire location and Genaro R. saved me. Very quick process to buy tires and getting them installed the same day if they're in stock. Very fresh tires which makes a difference because the shelf life matters for tires. You don't want to use tires that sat around a year in their warehouses so I highly recommend discount tire tires. They're fresh and I had a mechanic verify that they had long tread life and were new only a couple of weeks old! read more

A couple of weeks ago, I went in to have my tire pressure checked. During that service, it was suggested that I get a new set of tires. I decided to wait for the Presidents' Day sale. I bought online and thereby qualified for a nice discount, and then made an appointment for installation. Driving home, I was amazed what a difference those Yokohama tires made. The tires were a good choice and getting them installed at the Melrose location was too. They are very nice, professional people read more

Had a great experience at Disount Tire yesterday with Edwardo. He seemed super honest with me and offered great customer service. He showed me the issue with my wheel/tires so that I could understand and make a good decision. The only reason I did not give this a 5-star review is because the techs broke the decorate red cover break caliper cover on my Tesla. Edwardo took action and ordered me a new cover to replace what had been broken. He will call me when the new cover is in to replace. Otherwise, it was great. I would go back again. read more

A short note of thanks to this store. I just needed a flat repair, but was greeted by Store Manager Sione Taumoepeau Jr. who processed my work order. Took about 90 mins, but the customer lounge had coffee, wifi, cold water and decent music while the techs did their thing. Looks like a highly organized shop with some happy people turning the wheels etc. Thank you Sione - pleasure to meet you sir. Pat read more

Brought in my car because I had a flat tire, I arrived and 8am. The guy told me they didn't have the tire in stock at the moment so we had to wait until 3pm for the truck to arrive with the tire. I called at 4pm to get an update on my car, tire was still not placed on told me it'll be another 45 minutes. I arrived at 4:50pm and my car was still not touch yet, very unprofessional on their part leaving very dissatisfied with this place. read more

Came in to have the air checked in my tires, and the Tech found a nail in the tire. They immediately got me in line to get the tire fixed (no charge). Had to wait an hour and half, no big deal, better than waiting for AAA and still having to come back. I always get my tires here and prices are truly reasonable. I wish more businesses had the customer service and business model Discount Tire provides. Keep up the great work. read more

I bought new tires from here about 2 years ago. They are already worn out after about 30k miles. These tires cost $275 each plus all the additional charges. They are under warranty which is 45K miles. Instead of honoring the warranty, the sales guy tried to sell me a new set of tires. He acted like he was doing me a favor by charging me $750 for new tires. I told him why would I buy new tires from you when the last set I bought only lasted 30K miles. He would not even discuss the warranty with me. He said the best he could do was give me a discount. That is terrible business. I would not recommend anyone buying tires from this store. read more

Friendly service members & prompt scheduling. I had to order some tires that were not stocked in my area & they were able to get them in rather quickly. They actually refunded me for an alignment that I had prepaid for because they found that everything was within spec & no adjustments were needed. Very honest. They did damage one of my rims during the tire installation, but they quickly made it right by scheduling me with a mobile wheel repair shop. Highly recommend their services and would return here again. read more

AAA brought me there and i was told it would be 2 hours. At the 2 hours my car still had over 3 cars in front of it. I am stuck since i had a blown tire but if i knew it would take so long i could have gone back to carlsbad. There was coffee from this morning and nothing left to drink. If i hadn't asked what was going on they were not giving me a verbal update. All nice workers though. Wasted day read more

I'm sure most of us already know what you get at Discount Tire. However, each store can be a different experience. Over my lifetime in the Oceanside/Carlsbad area, I've found myself at 4 different locations. The only one I ever considered to make my "home" base is the store on corner of El Camino Real and Vista Way where me and my bride have taken our ride for at least 4 years. Sure the staff changes year to year but that's just it. Despite several staff changes at this store (like all stores) this one maintains the class and professionalism that customer service should be! It's the only store I've experienced consistent high level service. Ask for Luis. That's my guy! You know what? Take it down a half star because he convinced me to buy the more expensive brand with the certificates!! I never buy those dang certificates. He's good tho!!! read more

I have been going here for years, and this time it has been a nightmare situation, and I will be going back for the 5th time. First, my tire was leaking, and they did a visual check and told me no, it wasn't. I thought you would take it off to check and was it down from 42psi to 24psi? Then the next day it was down to 24 psi again, and of course, they were closed on Sunday. Then I brought it back again and was told I needed 2 new tires on the back because there was a leak and the tread was low, which I did. When I got on the freeway in cruise control, my car was swerving all over the road. I took it back to balance and see about the alignment. After waiting over an hour, the guy came out and told me my front wheel was bent, and I ran over something?? No, I have never run over anything, and my car was fine before the new tires. I asked to see the wheel. He took me out to see it, but the car was down from the rack, and suddenly the guy said he was able to balance, and the wheel was not bent. That's strange. How did my wheel repair itself? Then, a few days later, I noticed that now I had one new tire on the front and one new tire on the back, and they didn't tell me they were doing that. I went back again to have them put back where they belong, and I felt like I was speaking a different language just asking to put my new rear tires back on the rear. They did that, and the next day on the freeway, my car was swerving again all over the road! My conclusion is that these tires are not compatible with either my vehicle or the front tires. I'm so disappointed I have to go back because of the lack of transparency and honesty. This will be my last time going to this location. read more
