I'm leaving this review because I received outstanding customer service from the team at Discount Tire on Plaza. I had a small crack on my sidewall and some chipping on one of my tires. I brought it in to see if it was safe to drive. Josh was straightforward and told me it was safe to drive, but at the beginning of when they recommend replacement. I appreciated the honesty and the lack of pressure to buy tires that day. I went home and did some research on the tires I wanted. Went back and they were able to not just price match Costco but actually beat the price. Elijah helped me when they installed the tires, and even did an even exchange for my one newer tire for a tire they had on hand so it would match the size of my spare, essentially prolonging the life of my spare by a few years. After they were installed, by no fault of Discount Tires, I realized that I regretted the purchase since there was a different tire that was a little better fit for what I want. I went back two days after the tires were installed to see if there was anything they could do, fully expecting that they might tell me that there's nothing they can do since the tires had been driven on once. Juan actually gave me the full credit toward purchasing the tires that I wanted to exchange for. I feel like I pressure tested just about every scenario of their customer service model, and at every point, they went above and beyond my expectations. I honestly wasn't sure customer service this good still existed today in large companies. They truly put the customer first and go above and beyond to help their customers. I highly recommend them and won't hesitate to keep coming back in the future. read more

Discount Tire - This is who to speak with Thank you - Tires Near Me - Oceanside, California

So I took my SUV to this venue located on Plaza Drive in Oceanside. I was informed that I had three screws in my rear tires and I was also informed that because I purchased my tires from this venue one year prior, they repaired the tires, removed the screws and balanced my wheels all at no charge. I cannot tell you how happy I was since I was prepared to pull out my CC for this repair, but I didn't need to...I was very happy that I chose this venue for my business. Their company policy saved me in a lot $. read more

I stupidly decided to have my tires checked here, thinking shouldn't be a big issue. Sadly I was very wrong! The guy only checked 1 tire, and claimed he couldn't check the others since they were over 10 years old... 1st off my car isn't even 10 years old so how does that make sense?? After expressing how I've had no other issues with other discount tires checking my tires, he then tried to sell me new tires... which I told him I'm good and drove off. I am so completely done coming to horrible establishment. read more

Discount Tire - My brand new tire less than 24hrs after getting them on!! - Tires Near Me - Oceanside, California

Adrian and Mark were outstanding: I usually feel at a disadvantage walking in as a woman, but these guys took the time to explain to me into such detail what I needed to know. What an incredible service, fast, kind and insightful. Scheduling the service now and I have all the confidence it will be 10/10 read more

Had a flat tire and took my car to Discount Tire on Plaza Drive in Oceanside, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. I called ahead and Victor, the store manager, let me know it was a good time to come in since they weren't too busy--really appreciated that proactive and considerate guidance. Once I arrived, Adam checked me in quickly and professionally, explained the process clearly, and got everything moving without any hassle. The biggest win: the car was ready in about 30-40 minutes, just as promised. Efficient, honest, and friendly service all around. No upselling, no pressure And No Charge!!!--just a team that clearly knows what they're doing and respects your time. Huge thanks to Victor and Adam for turning a stressful flat tire situation into a smooth and easy experience. Highly recommend this Discount Tire location and will definitely be back for future tire needs. read more

Discount Tire - Tires Near Me - Oceanside, California

I usually buy tires from Costco but getting BFG KO3s in time for a post-Christmas trip to Death Valley. I needed to find another place & Discount Tire didn't disappoint. They had the right size for my Tacoma & an appointment 8am next day. My tires were installed & ready by 8:30 so fast service. They even threw in spline wheel locks at no charge since I had prepaid online & they couldn't credit me the Costco $60 coupon. It may have totaled ~$100 more than Costco (1 week wait for KO3 special order) but having the tires in time for my trip was worth it. read more

I've been coming to this same location for a decade. They always take great care of me and my car. 10/10 highly recommend. Free flat repair and free tire rotation every 6 months. read more

Just a quick stop in for air pressure check. Can't beat this free service. The parking lot is a bit small so not sure if it gets hairy when it's busy but it was easy enough for us. read more

I had the best experience at this location. Devin was the advisor that helped me and he was friendly and knowledgeable. He explained how they determine the wear on the tread of tires and at what point it's recommended to change them. He did recommend to change all four which I knew was going to be expensive. He showed me different options and didn't start off at the most expensive which was nice. He seemed like he was genuinely trying to help me find tires in my price range that would do what I needed. After looking at a few I mentioned ones I looked at and he said they were the second recommended option for my vehicle. I used my AAA discount and got a rebate on one tire so I saved a decent amount. Overall service was great and fast. I will only come to this location even though the one off el Camino is closer. The service and staff are ten times better at this location. read more

Discount Tire - Installed a little larger tires at first, but rubbing. Called Victor and swapped tires same day! - Tires Near Me - Oceanside, California

I got there pretty much at opening. Before I was even able to get inside the building, Andrew greeted me and asked me what he can help me with. I got a flat in my tire from some snow chains. He was very knowledgeable and thorough with his explanation of recommendations. He was kind and very pleasant. I will for sure be coming back just because the service was so friendly and efficient. read more

READER BEWARE!! First of, you can't buy tires without hassled with asking about wipers or warranty... just give me the tires I'm paying for and I'll ask if I need the extras. Anyhow, I needed 2 new tires and turned down their warranty which they tried to ruin one of my new tire by adding just 9 PSI WTF!!!! I was needing to leave the shop so thinking they did a good job. I Discovered it when I stop at the next door shop and noticed the low in air tire .. seems they attempted to sabotage me for rejecting their warranty on tires .. my 3rd time coming here which never again. They need to change their name to SHADY TIRES read more

I would like to give a big thanks to Adrian at Discount Tire at 3836 Plaza Dr. Oceanside. I have been coming to this location for years and have always been satisfied with their service. Adrian took great care of me. He wasn't sure he could change the new tire and place on old rim to my tractor mower. (Because it was so small). He succeeded. The tire is still holding air. Thank You read more

The tire pressure warning light came on in my rental car. Although I purchased tires here for my car I wasn't sure if they would service my rental car. I was greeted as soon as I pulled in and they were so helpful and willing to check my tires. I waited less than five minutes and a nice young lady came out and fixed the issue right away. I am sorry I didn't get her name but I was so impressed to see a female working in a tire store. Thanks for the excellent service Discount Tire and for making my day a little less stressful! read more

I stopped in to the Discount Tire on Plaza in Oceanside today to have my air pressure checked. Devin was the service employee who helped me. I am so impressed with the outstanding service, the professionalism, and friendliness that Devin presented. I didn't buy my current tires at Discount tire, but because of the awesome service Devin provided, I will be buying my next set of tires from this store. Thank you so much! read more

The service was excellent! 5 stars for that. Although my car was not taken into the bay for at least 20 minutes, it was ready to go a few minutes before their estimated completion time. My only complaint was the use of toxic cleaning agents or perfumed deodorizer used in the sales office. The smell was overpowering as soon as the door opened and it immediately gave me a migraine. Staff was ever so kind to place a chair outside for me. I really appreciated that but the damage was done. Every time someone opened the door I was assaulted by the chemicals all over again. Unfortunately for me, it shut my body down for the remainder of the day with intense head pain and burning nostrils. I cannot return to that location. read more

They're very nice and helpful. The prices are fair and they get you in and out as quickly as possible.

I brought a car in that had a tire with a slow leak. I had no appointment, but they fit me in. I couldn't find the leak and it turns out it was in the valve stem. They fixed it and I was on my way. These tires were not purchased from DT. On a different vehicle they had sold me a replacement tire for my spare. I hadn't used it and shortly after I upgraded all my tires. They credited me back the cost of the unused spare. They really take care of their customers and have a customer for life. read more

First off these guys are rip off artist. They promise you free nail and flat repairs when uyou buy a new tire and yet when you do get a nail, they come up with some nonsense excuse why they cannot repair it and basically force you to buy new tires EVERYTIME!! What the heck is paying for insurance on tires for then if it doesn even cover a simple nail puncture. Mind you the nail was in the middle flat part of the tire. Anyone would repair that no issue. These clowns try to skim as much money from the consume and lies to them about coverage they never support. I would never go here or any Discount tire again. Go to Costco instead. Much better service and cheaper than these crooks. Take my advice. Don't let these guys rip you off too. Let's get them out of business for poor service and false promises. They don't hold up their contracted end. read more

I have been a very loyal customer to this store for many years now. All my cars have been serviced by this store ( PLAZA, OCEANSIDE ) and it was always a great experienced. But yesterday the MANAGER was not customer friendly at all. I dropped off my van around 8:30am ( 9-2-25 ) with 4 new tires I bought about 2 weeks ago. I ask the technician if I could put the new tire to the rims I got from my friend. The technician was great and he gave me a quote for LABOR charge to switch the tire to the rims I like. Now, I told the technician that I will leave my car here because I needed to get to work. At around 3:30 pm I arrived at the DISCOUNT STORE by PLAZA, OCEANSIDE. I was ready to pay my bill of ( $144.00 ) but I accidentally left my wallet in my office and so I ask the manager if I could just get my car to drive about 15 mins to get my wallet so I can pay my bill. He refuse to release my car if I don't pay my bill. I was telling him I'm willing to pay my bill you just let me drive to my office and grab my wallet and pay my bill. I spent more than $144.00 in the pass years in this store and very loyal to them I was denied by simple request to grab my wallet to pay my bill. I guess "DISCOUNT TIRES" is great name for the store but I think Corporate HIRED DISCOUNTED MANAGERS with DISCOUNTED CUSTOMER SERVICE LEVEL. read more

I always buy my tires here! I came back because it was time to get new ones and I went in at about 5 pm or so, just to make an appointment for a later date. 20 minutes later I was back on the road with 4 new tires!!! Wow! Super fast! I always recommend these guys to other people and will always come back. This location especially! read more

I realized I had a slow leak for the last week in one of my tires. I was able to schedule an appointment half an hour before they closed, but unfortunately I got out of work late and I called them up asking if it was alright to still come in before they officially close (but after my appointment time) or if they would prefer for me to make another appointment. One of the people working yesterday, Joe, said that if I was there before 6pm then they'll be open for me. I got there at 5:58pm and even though it's right before closing time, they got me right in and out in 10 minutes for a patch. Shout out to the crew that was working there and I'll be coming back whenever I need new tires in the future. read more

I was due to get my tires rotated, but also asked if they could balance them as well. They were very accommodating and it made a huge difference. I took advantage of the windshield wiper replacement, and so glad that I did. They are probably the best wipers I've ever had on this vehicle. I love that. I can take my car in there and feel like I get a great value for my money. The service is excellent! Making an appointment on line was so easy! read more

Bubble in church vehicle and needed replaced. Gentlemen was nice, 45 mins or so I was on my way. Waiting area with chairs and one had a table in the corner to charge phone and eat if you brought something to eat while you waited. Tire was cost I'd be else where. They rotated my tires as well. Wish it were a one stop shop but it does say discount tires not discount tires and more lol. Set up like a Goodyear but just for tires. read more

Whenever my low tire pressure light goes on I pull into my local/friendly Discount tire. I love that I don't even have to get out of my car! Noticed I got a flat at like 4pm so I took the tire off and raced it over here to discount tire, and despite them closing in 30 minutes, they said they could patch it no problem. Very thankful for that. Victor immediately came out into the parking lot to me to help me out before I could even make it in to the front desk. Top tier customer service from my experience at this location. Highly recommend read more

Staff was super friendly and helpful when I got a flat tire on my way home from work and happened to be minutes from this location. Made it to the location safely and immediately was helped. They looked up my info and were able to get me a new tire and was out of there after only 30 minutes. They found some issues caused by the dealership where I previously got my car serviced, which we wouldn't have known had my tire not needed replacement. They really seemed to care for my safety. Experience was very pleasant, especially since my husband is the one always dealing with the car stuff and I don't have a clue about cars read more

Fantastic, quick service! I noticed one of my tires was balding late on a Sunday night, so I decided to go in first thing on Labor Day morning. Despite the holiday, my tire was replaced within an hour. The location was quiet and relaxing, making the whole experience even better. read more

My tire pressure warning light came on and prompted a visit to Discount Tire. I went to the Carlsbad location. They have a special bay for tire pressure check. Carlos came over and introduced himself, then promptly got to work. He checked the recommended pressure posted inside the driver's door and topped off each tire. As he put the cap back onto the last tire the dashboard warning light went off. This is the way life is supposed to be. Problem solved, easily, quickly and courteously. Thank you, Carlos! read more

Wow! What a way to ruin my day! I'm talking about the nail in my tire, not this place. Unfortunately found it when leaving our hotel and Walmart her doesn't have an auto center. The guys here were honest about wait time and were pretty spot on about it too. Now we're only an hour behind schedule instead of cancelling plans. Plus they didn't charge me to repair it, very happy with this place but hoping I have no reason to go back... thanks again! read more

Did online order of 4 tires along with an appointment. I appreciated the couple of reminders of the appointment through text along with the overall service given by everyone in the shop. I also appreciate a couple of the employees asking how the experience online was to better understand what their customers go through and their perspective of it all. Everything felt very smooth and efficient overall and they completed the job earlier than quoted. read more
