Tasty cocktails at a hipster-vibe bar. Had a few Friday evening cocktails after dinner. Was seated and served right away. The drinks whisky drinks were all pretty tasty - as were the gin cocktails. It was a little echo-y depending on where you sit - but was a good time otherwise. Would come back!

I've been before to try the food and other drinks. I remember the drinks being so refreshing, aesthetically pleasing and tasty! This time my friend and I got the little Tokyo (light, crisp, and gin forward) and a pirates look at 40 (refreshing, balance flavor, and happy hour appropriate)! It does gets packed so make a reservation or feel free to grab a seat at the bar! The bar tenders are super friendly and easy to talk to!

My girlfriend chose this bar and it definitely surprised me! It kind of reminds me of this place in San Francisco called Chubby Noodle where it's white washed Chinese food. I was skeptical because we were the only other Asian people other than the manager But honestly the drinks were bomb. - El Condor Pasa was delicious. My girlfriend finished her drink before I did lol. - Horse with no name, I don't know what it is but I always seem to get nugget ice drinks. A little sweet but still very good - mystery shot, I like surprises and I made a friend named Jeff also who got one also! Haha - Squid Ink XLBs - we almost got the soft shell crab but this seemed more interesting. Honestly the filling was very juicy. I was amazed. I love that they ONLY have additive free tequila. Someone asked for casamigos and we chuckled. If I'm ever back here again I'd definitely try some more food but we mainly came for a quick drink. DEFINITELY come early. It was getting packed at 6pm. AND there's happy hour 5-6 so that's a plus. Our new friend Jeff said he tried to come twice and it was way too busy. Thanks for all of the vibes and good times! Everyone was so kind and we had a great experience there!

Came here around 9 pm on a Friday. It was pretty full, but we were able to grab 2 bar seats for our party of 3. Vibes are good. I got the Horse with No Name for $17. I don't think I realized it was going to taste so liquor forward and that the sesame was only for decoration, but that's probably my bad! It was a beautiful drink and still tasted good, but I'd be eager to try something new next time. I didn't realize that they have "after hours" at 10 pm which is basically a reverse happy hour, so that's likely what I'll try to catch next time! Staff were really nice and poured us water without us asking and offered to split our bill.

Once again this fabulous spot delivers a drink I cannot live without. The happy hour at Accomplice Bar is perfect. Their innovative cocktails are $11-12 and the bites are also priced well at $5-6. Bar service is excellent and friendly. This bar has one of the best atmospheres in the area. A real neighborhood hangout. I had the Ube vermouth martini. Gorgeous and a perfect version of a martini! Yes that is the real color!!

I was looking for a spot for after dinner drinks with bar seating, and stumbled across Accomplice Bar! Bar seating is first come, so we found some open stools and placed an order for a Japanese whisky flight and a non-alcoholic apple martini. The whisky was good with 3 options that increased in proof from left to right. The NA apple martini tasted like a jolly rancher. The bartender was friendly and attentive, attending to diners who were ordering food in addition to their drinks. We ended up ordering some sesame balls off the menu as well. The food comes from next door from a Taiwanese shop, and from the menu, and the dishes from the people around us, it looks pretty good. A great spot for date night.

Great location, looks small from outside but once you enter some big booths and huge bar area. Came in on a random weekday 30mins after opening and they had some action already. Nice little vibe, Edgar is my guy and I knew we were in good hands. This guy makes some of the best drinks on the Menu, time moves slow might be my new fav drink of all time. Didn't even know food was part of the deal since we were just looking for a bar, ordered a beef roll, garlic noodles, cumber salad and orange chicken. Everything well seasoned and fantastic. Stop in for a drink and some small plates, or big plates. You won't be disappointed.

Such a great bar with an amazing vibe and great staff. Came here with a friend the other night to catch a drink. It has an intimate feeling inside which is amazing for a one on one experience with a friend or a partner. There's seating inside and outside and thankfully, we were able to get seating near the bar. The drink menu is pretty extensive and I appreciated the twist on classic drinks. The staff there were literally amazing and myself and my friend were able to have great conversation with them. We will definitely be back.

Fun, tasty, and chill place to get some yummy Taiwanese/Asian food and drinks. I ate quite a bit of Little Fatty while in undergrad, so I had to try Accomplice! Food 5/5 XO noodles: I highly recommend this! The rice cakes have this perfect sear and it's DELISH. Crispy wonton: I was in the mood for something crispy and this hit the spot; plus it was happy hour so loved the discount ;) Beef roll: I try the beef roll at every Taiwanese restaurant I go to to compare to the motherland and this one is very nicely crisp. I think they use a green onion pancake as the roll part and it's so good. Hainan Chicken: very tender and moist! Ordered the lychee gimlet as well and the drinks were fun! They also have mocktails that have an aesthetic twist on them, like a shimmery effect. Service 5/5 The service is great and I love the vibes! Our server checked in with us twice to make sure everything was okay and was very friendly. Ambiance 5/5 I love how outdoor dining is still offered. I wish there weren't so many flies but that's out of their control. Maybe don't sit near the alley way and request a table on the opposite side. Parking There's slotted street parking.

Loved the bar menu (and their price). Our bartender was super nice and made our drinks tasty and quickly! Food was great good. Didn't realize they serve bunch of Asian food until we found out the bar was owned by Taiwanese American guy! it was bit loud to have a normal conversation but a very hip ambiance like it's a happening place! Definitely returning to this place in the near future!

I had never had this kind of food before; but, I went with some friends and tried it for the first time. Every dish we ordered was excellently prepared and full of flavor. The service was impeccable and overall I would this was a wonderful choice! I would say I particularly recommend the beef roll (make sure to use the sauce!!!) and the Chinese bbq pork! The sauce for the pork was so delicious...a perfect blend of bbq sauce, sweet, and unique flavors. Highly recommend!!!

Great place for casual drinks and fusion asian food during happy hour. Drinks are ok though. Definitely not authentic chinese but tastes like chinese food w an American twist, and it was still tasty. Cool drinks on menu and vibes would come again for late night happy hr. Service was amazing and we had a great server named Jacob.

Cool bar design and a very fun vibe. This bar is connected to Little Fatty which Probably considered the same restaurant as you can order food from Little Fatty and eat it at the bar on the side. Pretty solid selection of whiskeys as well even though it's not a large space. Lots of creative/ delicious cocktails on the menu too. I met up with a friend here who is a fellow whiskey drinker. We were going to meet some other friends for dinner within an hour or so we wanted to stop here first. We sat at the bar and ordered a couple drinks pretty standard. The bartender was pretty helpful, but seemed a little busy so we didn't want to bother him too much. All in all, a very solid place to get a drink. The bar area is not too crazy like some other bars in West LA which is more my speed. Definitely would come back.

The place itself is very modern and nice. Overall the vibe it basically a Houston's-type place. And service was good. All of the food overall was very good. Nothing really too crazy. To me, the menu is a little... boring. But, I will say everything was tasty. We got the Cajun shrimp salad (which was simple and clean but tasty), a cheese pizza for the kids (which was good!), a brisket French dip (very tasty and a horseradish sauce with a LOT of bite), a vodka pasta (was good but it actually is TOO big a portion to eat by one's self), the Ahi Tuna frites (the tuna was good and served with a nice green sauce), and the grilled cabbage side (with brown butter and some pomegranate molasses--it was actually my favorite thing!). The key distinctive thing about Laurel Grill seems to be that a lot of things get cooked by that fire which really adds a nice smoky touch (like the shrimp and the ahi tuna and the cabbage). My only major complaint would be the fries were just okay. After a minute or two they weren't crispy anymore. As good as everything else was, I thought they would step things up with the fries but they were just average. Anyways, while I overall am not that excited by the menu, it definitely is a great place to go where everybody will be able to find something tasty to eat. And overall, the portions were pretty fair.

All dishes are carefully crafted with its colorful details, and its simple but bold flavors prepared for you through an open kitchen. This place gets busy the minute they open their doors so make reservations prior. 1. Korean Aguachile: fresh tilefish sashimi with finely sliced cucumber and white floral decor simmered in ice cold kimchee broth they pour at the table. Soooo good. Must order. 2. Soy Marinade Blue Prawn: My favorite dish of the night. Huge raw blue prawns (head attached) marinaded with soy sauce. Served with barley rice topped with Ssam jang (type of bean paste sauce), and seaweed paper. You wrap all ingredients in the seaweed paper to make a hand roll. Soooooo delicious. Can't walk out without trying this. 3. Beef short ribs: good but nothing unique in its flavoring . Beef steak(medium rare and super tender) that's lightly marinaded/glazed (so not overly sweet) with kbbq/short rib sauce. This is one of their fan favorites so I suggest you try it.. 4. Chilled Acorn Noodles: chewy cOLD noodles made with acorn (just like the acorn jelly side dish we eat). The noodles are seasoned with Korean Cho-go-chu-jang (Gochujang paste), crispy cucumber slices, loads of dried seaweed flakes, and perilla oil. And you just mix them all together. Sooo good and paired well with the short ribs. Incredible. 5. Bluefin tuna and trout Bibimbop: like a poke bowl but so much better. Rice at the bottom with loads of lettuce strips, bluefin tuna sashimi, radish slices, and cavier. Seasoned with Korean Cho-go-chu jang (Gochujang paste with a twist of vinegar). Very good as well. For drinks we tried the shikhye slush (shikhye is a Korean sweet rice drink dessert). They used a slushy shikhye base with warm cinnamon and ginger spices and pisco for a kick. Also tried the Sujinggwa manhattan which is sujunggwa (traditional Korean cinnamon ginger dessert tea served cold) and a single malt. This was fabulous. Overall fantastic experience. Fantastic food, cool ambiance's. And great service. Highly highly recommend this place!

Tables looked available around 5pm though so walk-ins could be possible. Ambiance: Outside was nice and inside looked dimly lit and romantic. We were seated promptly and service was good. Food: Rice slushy had a strangely strong cinnamon-like taste to it that traditional rice punch doesn't have which was so overpowering, it made it difficult to go back for more sips. Oysters - good though small, enjoyed the kelp mignonette Korean Aguachile - Delicate tilefish completely overwhelmed by cold kimchi broth with actual icy slush in it and small amounts of fish Steak Tartare - The hot stone bowl seemed to defeat the purpose of a tartare, as it cooked the steak once mixed. The perilla leaves were also cut in large strips relative to the beef. Chilled Acorn Noodle - The perilla oil was nonexistent in flavor though the dish didn't need it and was good without. Overall, portions were small for the price and dishes weren't well-executed so despite being excited for more Korean options in West LA, I'd much rather make the drive to Koreatown for better portions, prices, and flavors.

We came on a late Monday afternoon and, lucky for us, they have a bar special on Mondays: No corkage fee! They also have Happy Hour-- Monday to Friday from 3-6pm. The Chardonnay was divine! I would totally return and purchase another bottle. We also ordered a charcuterie board and took advantage of their happy hour special for $20 (pick two-- one cheese and one meat). We opted for the 'Humboldt Fog' Chèvre as our cheese option and the Bresaola for our meat option. Both were delicious, but the chèvre was truly exquisite. We shared one charcuterie board with five people and it was enough; however if you're on the hungry side, I suggest two charcuterie boards for five or six people. In addition to meat and cheese, it comes with crackers, some pickled veggies, onion jam, candied nuts, whole grain Dijon, and apple slices. On the left side of the venue you have your variety of wine options; on the right side, there's the bar and some tables, plus a small area with other snacks for purchase that pair nicely with wine or beer. They even sell the Torres truffle chips! My only complaint is the service, unfortunately. The lady at the cashier was super friendly, however the bar tender was not so welcoming. When he came over to our table to open our wine bottle, he didn't greet us, smile, or say anything. He took our bottle and opened it and then asked who was going to taste. Not sure if he thought we didn't speak English since we were speaking another language when he came to our table, but overall, we all noticed his attitude and thought it was rather unwelcoming. However, I believe that having a comfortable conversation at a bar with live music is a contradiction, so no points lost there. My main issues with The Washington are as follows: 1) expensive 2) poor drink selection. These two issues are not independent as I am ok paying ~$20 a drink only if the cocktails are going above and beyond in some sort of way. For example, the drink has some sort of complicated syrups or uses some sort of unconventional technique that I would not want to replicate at home. However, you cannot really find creative cocktails here. And, on top of that, I also find a lackluster selection of drinks. I'm not entirely sure why there isn't more gin/vodka cocktail selection (I am well aware that they can make standard bar drinks that are not explicitly listed, but I am critiquing the lack of 'original drinks').
