Neighborhood dive bar, almost everyone in here knows each other. Bartenders were nice, friendly patrons, nice drinks and pretty good Bloody Marys also quite dog friendly since there were a few doggos.

    Snacks!

90s West hands down is the best local bar. The bartenders are f'ing awesome. Kelly along with the other bartenders are awesome. I've lived on the Westside for over 40 years and this is the best local bar hands down!!! Thanks 90 West for always taking care of us

Sunday was the first time I Have been to 90 West Lounge and it was such a fun experience. I live a bit far, but I traveled to the 90 West Lounge to attend the Pacific Pups Rescue Fundraiser (Pacific Pups is the rescue I adopted one of my dogs from about 7 years ago!). I was nervous to come by myself to a bar alone, but when I walked in, I could immediately tell that this bar is a very friendly place where "everybody knows your name." Both staff and patrons alike are very friendly and welcoming. There are people playing pool in the middle, and then all the barstools full of people around the bar. There is a nice little outside area to sit and you're able to have your drinks within the perimeter of the tables right outside, so you can enjoy the fresh air if you'd like. Drinks taste great, I ordered a couple of the Long Drinks, original, and then peach, and I loved the peach one. I also tried a mixed drink, (I forgot the name!) which was very well made as well. Overall, as a female alone, one of the most important things is feeling safe to walk into a bar alone, and feel comfortable to sit by yourself, and this is definitely a bar that would allow you to do this. If I'm ever in town again, or if I do come to another event for Pacific Pups, I will definitely be excited to come to the 90 West Lounge again!

Great spot for day drinking. Free snack bar. Board games. Evenings there is always something fun happening, music Bingo, Loteria, trivia night, whiskey Wednesday, taco Thursday, or shoot pool on a Diamond table.

Cute dive bar with lots of games and a pool table. Must pay to play. Beers on tap. The beers on tap were Good. They also have fake darts. Didn't try the food. There's a parking lot.

Blast from the past! Have not been here since before covid. In true fashion we ended up here at the end of the night on a Sunday. This place has not changed, and we all need that kind of stability in our life. Good drink selection with a dive bar atmosphere. The best thing is that they have a snack bar. Even better is the story behind it. Apparently one of the frequent patrons brings in all the snacks and keeps them supplied. We're talking a variety of nuts, pretzels, red vines, candy and even beef jerky. Thank you 90 West Snack Hero!

Michelle behind the bar. So sweet. But don't push her. Haha. xx

    How is the noise level?

Inside maybe loud because the music, outside is normal

Are you guys showing the World Series?

    I'm 99% confident they will.

Do you guys play all SF 49er games?

We have 7 TVS so.... YES any time there is a 49er game playing, guaranteed we show it. Volume depends on the desire of the crowd. We do have 1 outdoor tv with sound capability as well as the 6 indoor TVs inside.

Do you guys have the NHL network, looking to catch the leafs game tonight?

I just called Direct TV now. They say that they do not show any Leaf games. I guess maybe they are in a contract dispute. So sorry. Try places that have Spectrum cable TV. I would think maybe they have it. Good luck!

Is this bar confirmed a San Francisco 49ers bar?

We were exclusively 49’rs. We now leave it open to all but still get a good following for 49’rs. Currently of course we are closed due to COVID.

I think I heard somewhere that you guys show the Raiders games? Is that true?

We do show Raiders games, with a decent following of 49’r fans. Currently of course we are closed due to COVID. Hope to see you when things reopen.

    Do you show Dodger games?

Yes, we do. We have Spectrum with the Dodger Channel, as well as DIRECTV.

I stopped going there years ago because of their short wine pours. Is this a new management now?

What time do they start serving the tacos?

    Come at 8pm

Do you guys have the NFL Sunday Ticket?

YES!! And 7 TV’s, complimentary BBQ & Nacho buffet! It’s a great day to come by!

    Canelo triple g fight?

So sorry! I missed this message till now! No we do not show pay per view. Cable companies charge so much I couldn’t possible turn a profit. My apologies for the tardy response.… Read more

Will you guys be airing the Olympics on TV when it starts in a few weeks?

The place itself is very modern and nice. Overall the vibe it basically a Houston's-type place. And service was good. All of the food overall was very good. Nothing really too crazy. To me, the menu is a little... boring. But, I will say everything was tasty. We got the Cajun shrimp salad (which was simple and clean but tasty), a cheese pizza for the kids (which was good!), a brisket French dip (very tasty and a horseradish sauce with a LOT of bite), a vodka pasta (was good but it actually is TOO big a portion to eat by one's self), the Ahi Tuna frites (the tuna was good and served with a nice green sauce), and the grilled cabbage side (with brown butter and some pomegranate molasses--it was actually my favorite thing!). The key distinctive thing about Laurel Grill seems to be that a lot of things get cooked by that fire which really adds a nice smoky touch (like the shrimp and the ahi tuna and the cabbage). My only major complaint would be the fries were just okay. After a minute or two they weren't crispy anymore. As good as everything else was, I thought they would step things up with the fries but they were just average. Anyways, while I overall am not that excited by the menu, it definitely is a great place to go where everybody will be able to find something tasty to eat. And overall, the portions were pretty fair.

Tables looked available around 5pm though so walk-ins could be possible. Ambiance: Outside was nice and inside looked dimly lit and romantic. We were seated promptly and service was good. Food: Rice slushy had a strangely strong cinnamon-like taste to it that traditional rice punch doesn't have which was so overpowering, it made it difficult to go back for more sips. Oysters - good though small, enjoyed the kelp mignonette Korean Aguachile - Delicate tilefish completely overwhelmed by cold kimchi broth with actual icy slush in it and small amounts of fish Steak Tartare - The hot stone bowl seemed to defeat the purpose of a tartare, as it cooked the steak once mixed. The perilla leaves were also cut in large strips relative to the beef. Chilled Acorn Noodle - The perilla oil was nonexistent in flavor though the dish didn't need it and was good without. Overall, portions were small for the price and dishes weren't well-executed so despite being excited for more Korean options in West LA, I'd much rather make the drive to Koreatown for better portions, prices, and flavors.

The location has a spacious area filled with a variety of wine options. I picked a Bourgogne Chardonnay from France ($36). We came on a late Monday afternoon and, lucky for us, they have a bar special on Mondays: No corkage fee! They also have Happy Hour-- Monday to Friday from 3-6pm. The Chardonnay was divine! I would totally return and purchase another bottle. We also ordered a charcuterie board and took advantage of their happy hour special for $20 (pick two-- one cheese and one meat). We opted for the 'Humboldt Fog' Chèvre as our cheese option and the Bresaola for our meat option. Both were delicious, but the chèvre was truly exquisite. We shared one charcuterie board with five people and it was enough; however if you're on the hungry side, I suggest two charcuterie boards for five or six people. In addition to meat and cheese, it comes with crackers, some pickled veggies, onion jam, candied nuts, whole grain Dijon, and apple slices. On the left side of the venue you have your variety of wine options; on the right side, there's the bar and some tables, plus a small area with other snacks for purchase that pair nicely with wine or beer. They even sell the Torres truffle chips! My only complaint is the service, unfortunately. The lady at the cashier was super friendly, however the bar tender was not so welcoming. When he came over to our table to open our wine bottle, he didn't greet us, smile, or say anything. He took our bottle and opened it and then asked who was going to taste. Not sure if he thought we didn't speak English since we were speaking another language when he came to our table, but overall, we all noticed his attitude and thought it was rather unwelcoming. Because of this experience, I rate this place a 4/5, however, everything else was great!

No strong desire I enjoyed the vibes of the place, but the live music was a little too loud to have a comfortable conversation. However, I believe that having a comfortable conversation at a bar with live music is a contradiction, so no points lost there. My main issues with The Washington are as follows: 1) expensive 2) poor drink selection. These two issues are not independent as I am ok paying ~$20 a drink only if the cocktails are going above and beyond in some sort of way. For example, the drink has some sort of complicated syrups or uses some sort of unconventional technique that I would not want to replicate at home. However, you cannot really find creative cocktails here. And, on top of that, I also find a lackluster selection of drinks. I'm not entirely sure why there isn't more gin/vodka cocktail selection (I am well aware that they can make standard bar drinks that are not explicitly listed, but I am critiquing the lack of 'original drinks').

Nothing to revert about. But wow, that mimosa was filled to the rim! I got the speciality weekend brunch spritz. I don't remember what it was call but it was strong and refreshing. Yes. The spritz was strong or my tolerance has gone way down. First course: I was pleasantly surprised by how big the Avacado toast was. It had a jam at the bottom that brought the whole dish together. Like my HH review, some micro greens would have taken my heard back. I just love microgreens! Deviled eggs and croquetts I've tried before. They were both pretty good. Croquetts can't do wrong. Mains: I got the crab Benedict and it was awesome! I filled up on my avocado toast so I took half of it home. There was plenty of crab and the poached egg was running and bright orange. That's some healthy eggs! Fresh toast looked amazing as well, same with the burger. I know the burger was also popular at happy hour for the price but I was told it was very good. I'll have to go next time just for that. Parking: Just park by the paid lot by trader Joe's or off Cardiff. Easier than trying to find parking on that street. The paid lot is $1 free and $1 additional hours. The patio was super charming with all the natural lights and shaded by the trees. The service was decent as well. Will took good care of us.
