Rodney gave me an appointment immediately and came on time and did a great job . He even suggested we just get the keys changed instead of changing the locks which would have cost us a lot more money . He was very professional, he cleaned up after his work was done and gave me a invoice for the job . I would recommend him a 100% . Hence the 5 star rating . read more

Rodney was great to work with. He was a little early. He communicated clearly via Yelp messaging and reviewed with me what he was doing in person when he got to the house to make sure we were in agreement and that I had a clear quote after he knew the scope of work. He was friendly. Before he left, he double checked the locks and adjusted one that wasn't working as smoothly as to his liking. His pricing was reasonable and transparent. I'd have no hesitation to hire him to come to the house again if I need anything rekeyed or need a new lock installed. read more

Reached out Rodney. He asked me send a picture to show the issue. The issue is kind of complicated. He arrived next day to figure out the solution. He gave option to replace or repair. He honestly tell me the replacement may take time and more expensive. I choose to repair. I got the job well done without my presence. Now the problem got resolved and the price is reasonable. I want to pay a bit extra for tips. But Rodney still invoiced me the price he states. Thanks Rodney. read more

When my 2 year old decided to lock us (including himself) out of our bedroom, we were really in a pickle, but Rodney was there to rescue us! He was very nice over the phone. He asked me to send him a picture of the lock so he knew if he had to drill it (cell phones are wonderful that way!). Luckily, he didn't have to. He came very quickly (within a half hour) and the was able to get the lock open. He was very nice about it and showed a lot of patience to my questions. He also quickly re-keyed the lock at our request. It took about 10 minutes. All in all, his rates are reasonable ($50 to come and open the lock on a Saturday morning). I found Rodney on Nextdoor and called him to get my front door lock fixed. He immediately came by to take a look even though I didnt have an appointment. Turned out the problem was fixed just by greasing the mechanism. He did not charge me for the work because "the work was too little to charge, and he was passing through the area in any case." He subsequently called me to let me know that a replacement lock was available but that he didnt think I needed to replace it. He knows his trade and his sense of ethics and customer satisfaction are top notch. Highly recommended! read more
