AMAZING, seriously. TEN STARS for Nickolas!! So we just bought a new (to us) condo. We realized as soon as we got the keys that the front / only door would not lock, meaning we couldn't move anything in. My panic (and lock issue) totally fixed *quickly by Nickolas within a few hours of initial contact with him. He quickly went to work explaining that even tho the door and lock and key were working on their own, the door jam likely "settled" over time as buildings do, meaning he had to drill out a new hole for the deadbolt. But, that's not the best part of my lock repair /locksmith experience.... The part that totally made my day was his immensely kind, welcoming smile and lovely normal demeanor which is often hard to find in this whacky world of grouchy people and flakes. Without a doubt, call him. Price was fair too. read more

We had a terrible experience. Called in we needed a key replacement. Key was lost in the ocean at the beach. Told us someone would be in touch and could not give us a timeline. We waited 2 hours. Called them back. Hung up on us texted us they did not have that number on file and no tech was available. We had to call 3 other places to have someone actually come out and communicate with us. read more

Pulled into a gas station and left my key on the passenger seat. I was stranded right in the front and was probably going to be ticketed for being parked there. Thankfully though, Nickolas from Nickolas Keys Locksmith was there to help me. Normally, locksmiths will make you pay through the nose because you're in a tight spot. Nickolas, though, helped me out with my car even though I only had 20 dollar. He got. my door open in 10 seconds flat. If he hadn't been there for me, I'd probably have been stuck there for hours. Nickolas is one of the best locksmiths in the Bay Area. If I ever get locked out of my car again, he'll be the first person I call. read more

I had an impressive stroke of bad luck and dropped my keys down the elevator shaft of my building (DO NOT RECOMMEND). My mail key was among the keys that needed replacing, and I learned that I needed a whole replacement lock installed. I thought this was going to be a huge headache. I saw Nickolas Locksmith's super high ratings and asked him for a quote. Turned out he was going to charge me HALF of what others had quoted and he was available the next morning! I was stuck at work when Nickolas actually arrived and did the work, but my husband said he was super friendly and was there for something like 10 or 15 minutes. Ridiculously fast. Amazing!! Thank you so much for the amazing service! I hope I don't need to see you again soon (no offense, of course!), but if I do, I know you'll make sure it's as painless as possible. read more

The Technician arrived on time but didnt seem like he knew what he was doing. took a while to open a simple lock. The price was not as expected because last time I had A able locksmith open my door and paid much less and the lock was opened in less than 2 minutes. (Same lock) I'm not a big fan of amateurs who pretend to be pros. Next time I'll call someone more experienced and cheaper read more

My wife and I just recently moved into a new home in San Jose and we were in need of a locksmith. We came across nickolas locksmith Inc. On yelp. Not many reviews but liked that he was right around the corner and was local. When we called his wife answered , took down our information and answered all of our locksmith questions. She suggested that we Rekey the locks to save more as appose to changing the locks. Nickolas than came over the following day and Rekey all 7 locks. He was on time and very professional and most important his pricing was responsible. Later on that day his wife followed up to make sure that we were satisfied with the locksmith work that was done by her husband. It felt nice to know that this is a real family business and that they take every custmer and make them feel at home. read more

After a break-in, I called the main Nickolas number from a Google search and got a call back from a tech, OR HAIM ABARGEL, within 5 minutes. He arrived 45 minutes later and without delay re-keyed 4 deadbolts and installed 2 new locking knobs, and made me 4 new keys. He was friendly, well spoken, courteous, and respectful of the house. A terrific guy, an asset to the company that sent him. The price was right, too. Also discovered the existence of "Google Guaranteed" providers, which Nickolas Locksmith is. If you're unhappy with the work done by any such certified provider, Google will make it right for you. Bravo to Mr. Abargel, and to Nickolas for hiring him. read more

I highly recommend Nickolas Locksmith--great service at a good price. We lost the keys to our car and they gave a very reasonable quote that was below the rate I was told by another company and arrived quickly. The technician, Jovani, communicated clearly what the options were and did quality work to replace the car keys. Overall, I was very satisfied with the whole experience and you shouldn't hesitate to call them if you find yourself in an unfortunate lockout situation. read more

Notice how he has twelve 5 star reviews BUT, at the bottom of all reviews there are 63 not currently recommended...He must pay for the reviews. He is HORRIBLE! I'd give zero stars if it was an option. I waited well over an hour, and was quoted $85 to open a single screen door. He arrives in pajamas as if he's come straight from his bed. He proceeds to my screen door and uses a balloon device to opens the it in one minute (The screen was the only door locked, my other door was open). He also never tried to pick the lock. He asks me for my card and I tell him that I need to see what he's doing on his phone, (a card charge website, a payment app etc. I'm not just handing over my card, for all I know he's just writing down my card information.) He shows me the phone and the price is now $199!!!! I am livid at this point and I tell him that is not how much the quote was. He mentions an additional service fee. SCAMMER! I am a single mother and the ONLY reason I paid was so that I could get my kids and I inside without dealing with him ever again. He is a "google ad" Locksmith, PLEASE use a reputable company!!!! read more
