Went to Acceptance Appliances on December 23 to look at GE French door fridge. Cam asked if we needed any help and when I asked question about the profile I was looking at, he was most helpful, answered all our questions and we wound up buying one. Cam was very personable and this is a great place to buy appliances (my daughter has bought a few from them and has not be disappointed). Fair prices (better than Lowe's or Home Depot for a better fridge), prompt delivery and install and haul off old one - and at a very reasonable rate. John Masters who delivered and did our install was also on time and kept me informed on his arrival time. We had a 14 year old Monogram built-in refrigerator die. Dwayne got us a replacement delivered within three days. He got us a good deal offering the builders price which saved us quite a bit off the retail price. Joe Castillo, the installer removed our old refrigerator without incident and did a good job installing the new refrigerator. Unfortunately the handles that came were defective and could not be installed properly. Joe came back quickly on a Sunday and installed the replacement handles. They made the process easy. read more

Get the extended warranty !!! Purchased electric stove, seamless cook top cracked 2 yrs out. Repair cost way more than new stove. Dishwasher same thing, about 3 yrs in , control panel went out! You-tube said that's a "common" problem with that model. I use a lot of apiances for rental home, but I'm gonna have to leave those GE appliances alone! read more

Found this place on Yelp, of course! And so so glad I did!! We have been remodeling our home and aren't the type to spend our savings on appliances. But we certainly wanted something nice and to look good since we spent hours of blood, sweat and tears on our place. The appliances here are brand new!! They are just scratch and dent models. Yes, some where obvious, but others you really had to search for them and if your design was just right they could be covered up by wall or cabinets. They had all types of refrigerators, washer/dryers, dishwashers, electric and gas stoves! We found a new stainless steel fridge for 1200.00. I had unfortunately not realized all the specs and realized shortly when I got home that it wasn't going to work. I quickly called them and they said no problem. I could come back and we'd figure it out. I went back the next day they were open and found the perfect one (after reviewing the specs more). It was about 200.00 more, but they were so nice and just gave it to me at the price of the other. So cool of them!! I got an 1800.00 one for 1200.00 (including delivery)!! And the only thing I could find was the smallest dent on the bottom and I had to really look for it! AWESOME!! They do use an outside delivery service, but you just call them personally and set it up which is nice. I don't have to rely on a big company where I can't talk to the driver. So if you're looking for something new with warranty, but don't want to break the bank - drive on out!! read more

**Edited to add: I find it interesting and VERY telling that the company's response to my review on Google was "You feel let down even when we tried to help you." Funny, we must have different definitions of "help". In fact, when I called and asked for help from the store, I was told the part didn't come with the fridge. I am guessing that is the "help" the owner is referring to? I made the call to the manufacturer to confirm the part was missing. I asked for it to be shipped to me. This location sold me an appliance without all the parts and was 100% incorrect and uninformed about the details. No help was ever provided by them. Once again - buyer's beware and do you own due diligence!! We purchased a W/D from them in September and had great service. So. We returned again this week when our fridge went out. Two days ago we purchased a fridge and have had a MUCH different experience...buyers BEWARE. First of all, the fridge that we wanted to purchase was priced at $2200. A quick Google search while I was standing in the warehouse showed that Home Depot was selling the exact same fridge for $1900 NEW IN BOX with no scratch or dents. I should have trusted my instincts right then and gone and purchased it somewhere else. However, they agreed to sell it to me for $1850. We paid to have it delivered and installed the next day. I woke up this morning and realized that a freezer compartment inside of the lower freezer was missing. I called them and let them know that was missing and they assured me that that was "extra part" that needed to be purchased separately. Even though, there was clearly a space for it on the inside of the freezer AND a picture of the part in the installation manual. Salesman assured me i was incorrect. So, I spent 30 minutes on the phone calling GE myself and what I suspected to be true WAS. The part definitely should have come with the refrigerator and the customer service representative at GE confirm that. The manufacturer is going to send me the part free of charge. I am definitely glad that GE is going to make it right, but it made me lose complete trust in the sales people at acceptance appliance. When I called to tell them that it should've been included, his response on the phone was "oh. Sorry." And that was it. No attempt to even try to make it right when I could've driven up there IN five minutes away and grab the part. It's poor customer service like this that will cause me to stop recommending them to people that I know. I would rather pay more for a product and know that the company and employees have integrity and solid customer service. Just disappointed. read more

Ive purchased a double oven, stove top and refrigerator from Acceptance. The service ive received has always been above and beyond. No pressure to buy, just come in look around and they will answer any questions. I found my sales person to be very helpful in answering questions and suggesting options i didnt see. If what you need isnt on the floor they can also order new items that arrive very quickly. They even have installers they refer you to that come pick up your appliance and install it at a decent price. read more

We went here looking for high end GE appliances(Café and Monogram) to replace everything in our house. We found everything that we wanted and the scratch & dent inventory was in very good condition compared to 95% of everything we found in Sears Outlet - and the prices were roughly the same or even less expensive. Matt was our salesperson and he was both extremely knowledgable and very courteous. We're very excited with our purchase and will definitely recommend them to friends. read more

I recently needed to replace a wall oven in a rental property I own. I called Acceptance Appliances because I heard they were approved by GE to sell scratch and dent appliances straight from the manufacturer. I spoke with Mack and he found a brand new wall oven that was perfect. It had no blemish and had a greatly reduced price. He even arraigned to have it delivered to Pearland, saving me an entire afternoon of driving. This business has great products, prices and customer service. We were looking for all new (or scratch and dent) appliances for a remodel. We called and searched all over, then found this place. Matt was really great, was able to help us, make great suggestions and we did the whole thing over the phone, and when my husband went the next day to pay for them, he was impressed with how helpful and nice they were and the appliances were nicer than expected. The prices were also lower than the used appliances we found. Will be going back soon. read more

Great selection, helpful staff, clean facility, they don't deliver but they have contractors that do deliver for a reasonable price next day, especially when you buy a fridge! I didn't notice the dates of the previous reviews so I went in with high expectations. Visited store on 1/12/19 shopping for three appliances. The Selection of non-white W/D sets was sparse. Nonetheless, I continued to take notes on what was available hoping a sales person would engage me and offer some guidance. Looked and walked around for 10-15 minutes with no contact from any one, even though we could clearly see one another through their glassed in office. I left and found what I needed from one of the chain stores. Their prices were very similar and sometimes higher than other scratch/dent retailers. Okay place to visit if you live nearby but definitely was not worth the drive for me. read more

A fellow yelper suggested we go to Acceptance and check out their appliances. We were looking for a new gas stovetop, and prices were very high -- I mean, how many parts does a cooktop have, folks? They have items that boxes were opened, scratch and dent, etc. Their prices were terrific. Now, I think it's a little tricky to find. It looks like a warehouse building, and the entrance is hard to find. Stay on the feeder road right before the fly-over of 249 & BW8. They are moving, so call and double-check the location. Just bought a 27" double wall oven from them. I had looked about a month ago and they didn't have the exact one I wanted (non-convection) but said they'd put me on a waiting list and when they got it they'd call. Last week Matt called and said hey, we don't have it yet but I will get the convection one at a good price - well below what the big box stores had it for. We also needed our cabinets cut since we had an ancient 1984 microwave/oven combo and it wasn't the same height. 4 days later (my first available day off) was installed very professionally by Drew Green at Appliance Installers and within an hour for an extremely reasonable price! They did a great job, have heated up both ovens to make sure they work and will be cooking our first meal in them tonight! Thank you to both, rarely do I write reviews but felt their service (both sales and installation, and price!) was exceptional. read more
