No self-respecting company should be doing business with Dupar Inc. I'm amazed that so many major retailers such as Costco and Home Depot use this company. We have been waiting for a new GE dishwasher for over a month. I called Dupar Inc. and they received the dishwasher yesterday. However, they are so "backed up" that they cannot deliver the dishwasher for another 2 weeks. So the dishwasher is just going to sit there for 2 weeks. Arrived on the scheduled time, the team was very professional & friendly. What a wonderful experience from start to finish! GE Monogram sent out a double wall oven to be installed in my home. They used DuPar here in Houston for delivery from warehouse to my house and installation. GE told me what to expect from DuPar and that is exactly how everything worked. Victoria in scheduling called me to set up a date for delivery and installation within a week. She told me I could call on delivery day to get a delivery time window. Also the deliveryman called 45 minutes before he arrived. Dennis and his helper, Sean, were very professional. Dennis is a long-time employee of DuPar and he really knew what he was doing. They were careful not to damage my cabinets and they cleaned up everything when done. The company really did a great job for us. They have real people who answer the telephone on the first ring and they are very respectful and helpful. I couldn't be more pleased! read more

This company delivered an LG Fridge, which was purchased from Home Depot. Delivery arrived to our house within the allotted time frame. Fridge was delivered with no damage and installed without any problem and the old fridge was taken out for recycling. Delivery was done with no damage to the fridge or property. Ordered a GE washer from GE appliance store for home delivery scheduled 8 days prior for June 10th. The call in the afternoon of June 9th to say they are overbooked will be another week for delivery. I told them it either comes on the 10th or they can keep it. Can't go a week without a washer. So they said ok and send some skinny guy with a beat up trailer to deliver my washer. The laundry room is upstairs but of couse 1 little guy cannot take a washer upstairs by himself. I offered to help him take it upstairs but he said too much liability so he was just going to leave it. No offer to come back and finish the job. He couldnt even get the dolly in my house without me helping him. Then he drags it across my wood floors scraping them until I told him get out of my house. Now I need to figure out how to finish this install. Any idiot with a truck qualifies to deliver for Dupar as he made it clear he is an independant contractor for Dupar. Truly Amazing. Bought a brand new GE Washer and Dryer. High end Model recently released. They screwed up the install by removing the feet on both units when mounting to the pedestal. A few weeks later, the Ultra quiet washer is loud as heck! Called in a GE tech who called Engineering and determined the bad install damaged the Pedestal. Resolution was replacing the Washer, Dryer and Pedestals because they couldn't get the feet (not a recommended spare). Replacements showed up and they installed them without incident. However the 2nd dryer had to be replaced after a day when the control board failed. Because the unit is so new, the control board is on back-order and GE elected to again replace the Dryer and Pedestal. Today Dupar arrived with the new Dryer which has a water connection for steam. In the process of connecting this, they knocked the washer drain and the Oatey Box Frame for the water connections out. We did a load of clothes an hour later and found mid cycle several gallons of water on the floor of the utility room. Because the frame of the Oatey box was not installed, water got behind the drywall. So I'm losing several hours from work emptying my utility room,removing water, removing the recently installed washer and dryer to dry out and inspect area. I've a call in with GE and the installer on the next steps, but this one hurt and amazingly cost GE several thousand dollars (High end equipment) because of poor training and about $10 worth mounting feet. read more

They arrived late by well over an hour from the delivery window with no call and no apology for arriving late. Before it ever got inside my house, they damaged the Samsung Washer because they used an appliance dolly without any protection on it. They changed the direction of the door on my new Samsung dryer and it now it chirps like a bird. And they do not want to come out and fix it and help. RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY and if #HOMEDEPOT only uses them - GO TO LOWE'S. They do not want a 5 star rating from you. This company was a third party that I sadly had to deal with while in the process of buying my first house. They are a company hired by builders and hardware stores to deliver and install appliances. My builder ordered my microwave oven and gave them my information to contact me for the delivery. He told me they would call me Wednesday, but some girl by the name of Shelly called Thursday at about 3pm stating that my delivery person had attempted delivery at 10am and nobody was home. First of all it was on a Thursday, if common sense would have been used in this situation it would have saved us a lot of time. I cannot understand why they did not think of calling BEFORE making the delivery not HOURS later, but the truth is that it was a bunch of BS, I believe they never intended to deliver the the appliance on time.At that point I tell Shelly that (of course!) I was not home because I happen to be at work, 9-5, like most people who work weekdays. Then she tells me that they will deliver Monday. I let her know I could not take another day off and since I was to be off Friday I needed the delivery no later than Friday. She tells me that she will work it out and that I should expect deliver from 8am to 8pm Friday and that the driver will call me before heading my way. Friday at 3pm I decide to call to confirm that they will deliver that day. Shelly at this point tells me my delivery is scheduled for Monday! I ask her if she remembers speaking with me the day before and telling me my delivery would be Friday? She suddenly has a case of amnesia and the rest is history. In the end I had to control myself not to call her an incompetent idiot, because I don't like insulting others... even if they deserve it. I hung up the phone and called the builder, he told me he would take care of it, which he did. Monday comes around and the delivery person makes it to my house way after 8pm, but I am OK with it because at this point I just want to be done with them. The problem is that when they tried to install the microwave oven, they could not remove the old one. Per the builder, Dupar had installed the previous one, so it was quite a surprise to me that they couldn't figure out how to remove it. Were they new at this? Is everyone who works for Dupar incompetent? Were they just tired and decided they wouldn't do what they were paid to do? Do they just not care??? Maybe all of them. At the end of the day the microwave oven is still in the box and I hope to NEVER deal with Dupar again. I hear home depot uses them for installations and I will make sure to avoid buying anything that would have to be installed by them. As the 3rd reviewer, I'll save you time and just say that combining the comments from Ryan C. and Jaire Q. pretty much gives you an account of our experience. From start to finish, every interaction we had in-person or over the phone can be summed up as: 1) Apathetic and 2) Incompetent. For those that want more: Ordered a dishwasher from Home Depot. Discovered later that Home Depot contracts the installation out to RWB (who usually does a very nice job, by the way), and contracts the delivery to DuPar. DuPar, in turn, sub-contracts at least some of their deliveries. DuPar called the day before and gave us a 4-hour delivery window, and that they would call 30 minutes before arriving. The only call we received on the delivery day was an automated message that they would arrive in 30 minutes. Well, they did arrive in 30 minutes. Here's the problem: The call came an hour AFTER the END of the delivery time window, resulting in an actual delivery an hour-and-a-half after the latest time they said they would arrive. The domino effect: At this point, the contractor for the installation was no longer available, (and why should he be), pushing the installation to the next business day. The frustration in these situations (and I understand this is a first-world problem and really no big deal in the grand scheme of things) can often be tempered with a sincere apology. When a person is given a golden opportunity to offer one, but instead sends a vibe, through body language and verbal insinuation, to "shut the **** up so I can get out of here", well that tends to piss people off. While they did not apologize, they did give the excuse that the truck broke down. After talking to some other people, it turns out that the truck breaks down just about every day. I think you see what I'm getting at here... Oh, and that 1-877 number Home Depot gives you to call about a deliver question? Save yourself some time, amigo, and DO NOT CALL that number. As near as I can figure, the sole purpose in life of the person on the other end of that call is to make you regret ever having called. COMPLETELY and utterly useless, and no concept of time: "Please hold for just a moment" equates to a long, irretrievable chunk of your life, my friend. Oh, one more thing. DuPar no longer installs dishwashers for Home Depot, but they DO still install smaller appliances. Not sure about you, but I wouldn't trust DuPar (or one of their sub-contractors) to install a paper towel holder, much less a kitchen appliance. read more

These guys delivered a refrigerator to me. They were supposed to bring it to the 2nd floor but they said they could not. It was likely miscommunication with Wayfair which I get. However, the guys were just incredibly rude. Then he pretty much lied on his report to the company. I called a local crew a contractor friend recommend and they brought it up with no problem. Another contractor friend said he had a similar experience with these guys when they left a whole kitchen full of appliance outside in the rain for him to deal with. Horrible experience! Purchased a dishwasher at Home Depot and was told we'd expect a call the day before the scheduled delivery / install date to schedule the time - well that call NEVER happened! Then the delivery guy knocked on my door at 6:45AM the date of the install!! No one is awake and my dogs are going crazy...I opened the door and told him that I wasn't expecting them THAT early and told him no one ever called to schedule the delivery! Little did I know, he did actually call before hand - but at 6:15am! Who is awake that early to accept a phone call? Not us! So they come in to install the machine but then informed me that they can't install due to 'unsafe wiring'. Every plumber I've talked to says they can hardwire a dishwasher...these guys were WAY too early and then couldn't complete the job. No deliveries should be scheduled BEFORE 8am! read more

I think the company as a whole is pretty good. The owner was soft spoken and kind. Then here comes dragon lady MELISSA . That woman is supposed to be HR, walks around the office verbally insulting temps. She is condescending, rude, and an out right #itch! She will never keep a good staff because she has literally zero percent people skills. If she shows you something 1 day...on day 2 if you haven't caught on..she'll be calling your agency telling them that you don't need to return. Which for me was like YES!! saved me a phone call to them saying I wasn't going back. I ordered a dishwasher from Home Depot. When they delivered, they could not complete the install and I had to get a plumber. They assured me that they would pick up the old dishwasher after I had the new one installed. I have been trying to get the old dishwasher picked up for 2 weeks now. It was scheduled for yesterday, but noone showed up and no one called, so dishwasher is still sitting there. I called and was told they will be here next Friday. It was their error. This company delivers GE appliances for Home Depot. I have never seen such an unprofessional delivery company in my life! There was an issue with the delivery address which Home Depot said was corrected but it was not. The day my appliance was to be delivered, they stated that they attempted delivery but could not find the address. Neither the driver, the dispatcher, or Home Depot called to let us know there was a problem (that could have been easily fixed with just one phone call) and our appliance could have been delivered that day. When we called Home Depot to find out where our stove was, they told us the delivery had to be rescheduled and that the delivery company would not cooperate with making delivery that day. We had already waited 4 hours to find out. We had to wait an additional 4 days before receiving our purchase. It is Christmas time and my stove has been out for over 2 weeks now. No baked gifts have been made, and we have been having to eat out for the past 4 days due to this company's misguided dispatchers and drivers. When the drivers came to the house (2 days before Christmas), they complained that they could not back their trailer up in our long driveway. The delivery truck had a 12' box trailer (like a U-Haul trailer) and it should have been an easy job for anyone to back up. Secondly, when they saw that I had dogs in my house, they refused to bring the stove inside and install it unless I put all my dogs up. Two of my dogs are handicapped and I refuse to move them for anyone. None of my dogs bite either. I basically wrote a condensed version of this review on the delivery ticket and signed it so that GE/Home Depot would see just how bad these folks are. Once they saw what I did, they were extremely anxious to install my stove, dogs or no dogs. I declined to allow them to do so and we installed the new stove and removed the old stove ourselves. If you make an online purchase with Home Depot and live in the Northeast Harris/East Montgomery County Texas area, make sure and tell them to find you a different delivery service. You will be sorely disappointed if they use Dupar. read more

Then after a second appointment set up by Home Depot this company texted they would be here from 9-1. Then when I called asking where they were at this customer representative acted clueless saying that my delivery is 11-3. Horrible customer service. Wow... I just had my first experience with this company. We ordered a dishwasher from Home Depot along with full installation, which was left to Dupar Incorporated to make my Christmas satisfactory. They brought it in and kept saying things like "want us to put it under the tree?" We were confused and said, "No, please put it in the kitchen." Then they went on to say they aren't the ones that install it for us, they simply deliver it to our house. We were very confused... They said we need to call Home Depot to sort it out and they don't know who would install it for us, then they left. Guy's name was Rudy by the way... So we call Home Depot and they said that those guys WERE supposed to install it, and their excuse to Home Depot (over the phone) was that we'd need an electrician, a plumber, and lots of time to install the dishwasher. WOW! Are you kidding? If this was true, why couldn't they explain that to us instead of lying to our faces and ignoring their job. Highly unimpressed with this company and the fact that Home Depot would outsource them for their deliveries. The only person who has tried helping me thus far is the supervisor, Mike. I had my dryer delivered and the driver damaged my washer when taking out my old dryer to replace it with the new one. Mind you, I just bought the new washer a month prior!!! The driver called me and didn't know how to settle the scratch/dented appliance and asked me how much I wanted back. EXCUSE ME? He told me he would speak to his boss and never got back to me. When I called back, I spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to get through to someone who was competent enough to handle the issue. The girl who answered INSISTED that I spoke with someone from LG and not someone with Dupar. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE UNTIL I SPOKE WITH MIKE. We had a large delivery, a double oven, single oven, 2 fridges and a dishwasher in our home under construction. Billy was the driver and he and his helper were excellent. Helped with bringing the appliances in, cut them open for us to inspect and even helped take one refrigerator next door to store until our floors were done. I ordered a dishwasher from Home Depot and it was delivered and installed by Dupar. The installation (which I paid extra for) was done incorrectly, resulting in a slow leak which has caused considerable damage to my recently remodeled kitchen. Home Depot and Dupar have not taken responsibility. Dupar denies the claim because Bosch (sent by Home Depot) came out to take a look at the repair needed. The Bosch repairperson determined the issue was with the installation (the fitting to the hose wasn't tight). Next time I'll hire my own installation person. I could have done it better myself and saved myself this headache and drywall repair issue. read more

I purchased a Range from Home Depot that was to be delivered by Dupar and after reading the reviews on here I began to worry and prepare myself for a horrendous experience. The day before the scheduled delivery I waited for the call that would let me know my expected delivery window, the call finally came at around 7pm and was an automated message, just like previous reviewers described. Aside from the late call, which gave me little time to make arrangements for taking time off work, I was ok with it. The delivery guys showed up 30 minutes into the delivery window, which was great, they helped un-package the range and even gave me a brief run down on how to install it ( I opted for the self install kit). They delivered and hauled the old range away in a matter of 30-40 minutes. I believe in giving credit where it was due, these guys were helpful and did their job. 3 stars because of the late notification call. If its an automated call why not schedule calls to go out during the day so that people can prepare with sufficient notice. read more

I'm not sure about the company as a whole, based on the previous reviews, but I had a great experience with my delivery. I bought a fridge at Home Depot earlier this week and scheduled the delivery/install for today. I got an automated phone call yesterday afternoon giving me a 4 hr window for the delivery. I'll admit, having one days notice and a 4 hr window isn't the greatest, but it happened to work out with my schedule. Bo (the main delivery guy) called within the time window with a 30-45 min heads up that they would be there. He and his assistant arrived at my house in about 40 min. Both were very professional and knowledgeable about the fridge I purchased. They were careful not to touch my freshly painted walls and finished the install in about 20 min. I hope I'll get the same experience when my washer and dryer are delivered in a couple weeks. read more

We ordered a full kitchens worth of appliances from JC Penny and DuPar was the delivery company. We had to wait a month to get the appliances delivered. It was postponed and we never heard from them, we had to call back to find out when they would be able to deliver again and wait an additional 9 days. My husband said the process was rushed and they could not install the dishwasher due to a plumbing issue, which I can understand. We needed to have a different life be set up for the type of dishwasher we bought. They installed the refrigerator and didn't verify the settings or bother to see if it was working appropriately. Two days later it is still not working. We called JC Penney and they contacted DuPar to come back and make sure it was installed appropriately. Now we have to wait 4 more days for someone to come out. I called DuPar myself to see if we could get someone out sooner and spoke to a lady by the name of Lori. Please note that DuPar is less than 2 miles from my home. Lori could care less about our problem and told me we just needed to wait. I asked for a supervisor or manager and was told no one was in duty. This is the worst service I have ever encountered. read more

We bought a double oven for a replacement and Dupar sent the most incompetent guys that do not understand what it takes to replace the oven. Upon removing the old oven, they claimed that we tampered with the electric wire behind the built in oven which is impossible as we do not have access to the back. They were very rude, short and outright disrespectful. I will not recommend them to my worst enemy. Dupar is a short name for don't partronize. If you see them coming, run the other way. read more

I intend to post a review on @Homedepot and @GE Appliances after and maybe they'll listen to customers. The ladies are rude and care little about their customer. After waiting for my refrigerator delivery for 2 weeks, they called to confirm arrival the next day then on the day itself called to inform that they cannot deliver and that the next delivery would be in 2 weeks or I go pick up at the Home depot. I opted for the pick up and they still rescheduled for the 2 weeks later date. I show up at Home depot only to find out they have received the delivery, its in their warehouse and they can't deliver because "they had an emergency with a driver". The ladies were rude and when I asked to talk to a manager, I was given a name "Mike" but that he was in a meeting and would call me back. I am still waiting for that call...I suggest when @Homedepot schedules a delivery, ask the delivery company and if its this one, REQUEST IMMEDIATE CHANGE! The one star is me being generous with this review. Simply, Dupar installed my new LG washer and caused a leak to my downstairs neighbor. After many phone calls and emails and explaining over and over again that it was a faulty install from their installers. Weeks later after i submitted my claim I had to call again to find out my claim was denied. The told me that the installers didn't connect the hoses!!!!! when they did!!! I wish there was an availability of "no stars." The customer service of this company is horrible! If you are a retailer that needs a delivery company, do not use this one unless you want your image tarnished as well. I was to have two items delivered from a local home improvement type store. I was told that this company, Dupar, was going to contact me the night before to let me know when the items would be delivered. I never received that call. When they finally called the next day to let me know that they were on their way and would be at my home in thirty minutes, I was not home, but I was close enough to get there within the thirty minutes. I asked the driver if he could move me back to the last drop on this side of town so that I could complete the transaction of my business where I was and go straight home. The driver was rude, he spoke to me over a speaker while his window was down, so I could not understand anything he said. I finally understood him to say that he could not move me to the last slot. He hung up on me when I asked him to take the phone off the speaker so that I could hear and understand him. When he hung up, I immediately called the company to see if I could be rescheduled. When they said no, I told the lady on the phone that I was leaving right then and would be at my home within the thirty minute timeframe. When I arrived home, the delivery driver was no where in sight. I called the driver's phone and left a message, letting him know that I was at home. My call rolled to voice mail. I called the company back to let them know that I was at home as well and they told me that the driver stated that no one was at home. She stated that he "took a picture of my house to prove no one was at home" and that there were no cars there. First of all - Who does that?!. Secondly, there were at least two cars in my driveway and a third one if you count mine. The driver never rang the doorbell. When I called the store to reschedule, I was told that the delivery would be made on Saturday. We did not receive a call on Friday night, nor did we receive a delivery on Saturday. In frustration, my husband went up to the store and was told that the delivery would occur on Wednesday. I called the store on Tuesday night to verify delivery, since the company still had not called to say what time they were coming. I was told that they would come between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. I stayed home on Wednesday to be available to accept the delivery. Wednesday morning, my husband called me from work to tell me that the home improvement store let him know that they had followed up on the delivery and were told that the delivery had been cancelled. This company never contacted them to let them know that it had been cancelled. It was not cancelled in the home improvement store's computer, only in Dupar's computer. I immediately contacted Dupar to find out more details and was told that the order was returned to the manufacturer because it had been "uncrated." The young lady on the phone did not know what that meant, and she could not explain it to me. She stated that her records showed that the delivery had been refused based on the word of the driver. There was no other documentation available, not even the multiple calls that I had personally made regarding this delivery. I want my products, but I do not want them delivered by this company. If they make a bid for your organization, throw that paperwork away. They are incompetent and guided by the whims and emotions of the drivers. I still do not have my products. The home improvement store is working with me to get my products ordered. They are frustrated as well, but not as much as I am. Horrible customer service.
