Went today 11/15/24 with my wife regarding our Dyson that wasn't working. The owner got it started but suspected a new battery was likely to be needed, which can be ordered directly from Dyson The take away from our visit was the owner is most personable, extremely likable, exuding experience and knowledge, and appreciates his customers. He was personable on the phone and assured me that he charges nothing to look at a vacuum cleaner and diagnose problems, so I took mine in. The problem didn't reproduce itself while I was there; Patrick assured me of what could've been my issue and charged me nothing for his time. In the process, he was so pleasant, personable and nice - and very easy to talk to. I tried to get my vacuum cleaner serviced local but they wanted to charge me more than what P&R vacuum charged me to replace the belt, fan, and gear that drives the Kirby. I used the search for a vacuum shop and found this one, so I had my husband drop off my Dyson Pet Vac, Upright Vacuum to get it cleaned. I received the call from the owner saying it was ready, so I went to the shop to pick it up. He did a great job cleaning it and showed me some issues it had, one was the roller, which I had him replace and the other were some burn holes from when hot embers from my fireplace were sucked up and they burned part of it. He said all I needed to do was put some glue in it. I'm very pleased with his work, service, advice and price. Highly recommend anyone using him to service their vacuum or to buy a reconditioned vacuum, or rent a carpet cleaner. read more

I first met the owner because he's an authorized Riccar dealer. Riccar's are made in Missouri, USA. I had two minor issues he took care of without charge because they were covered under the warranty. This last time required a hose change. He took care of it for $42.00 in five minutes. My partner and I were thrilled! The owner is honest, truthful and can be trusted. You really do get what you pay for. We're glad we spent $275.00 on a tough, American built vacuum instead of one from a big box store. ps Dyson's are a joke. read more

I came to P&R Vacuum because I needed a new cord on my vacuum. Called this place and Patrick could replace the cord for the same price I was going to pay for a cord elsewhere. He definitely has a passion for what he does and is very knowledgeable and he actually cares about the customer and doing what it right!! He also will recommend a great vacuum for the type of floors you Have and sells great vacuums in his store front. When I am in the market for a new vacuum will definitely keep this place in mind bc the owner will take the time to demonstrate and educate you on the different types.
