We have a galley style kitchen and we thought that we wouldn't have to spend so much on tile materials because let's face it we don't need much. 30sf here 30sf there... I like many renovating homeowners watch HGTV like it's going out of style and well I saw a kitchen that I could just die for and it had the most beautiful tile backsplash. So I was on a mission I can have the same look, until I went to Lowes and saw that each PIECE was $20.00 ++a square foot. Um $600.00++ for a back splash I think not!!! I knew I could find this tile somewhere else so I did some research and happened to stumble upon an online wholesaler who happened to be in Southern California, (so I called) who happened to be in San Diego, who happened to be right around the corner from where I work. As I walked in to this office space I was greatly surprised by the sheer beauty of what they had to offer.. All the new and up and coming tile materials you could think of all in this showroom. The Five Elements is by far the nicest place I have been to here in San Diego I thought for sure this was going to be a spendy trip. I was WRONG they had exactly what I wanted for a phenomenal price. I ended up doing my kitchen and bathroom and now we are thinking about doing 1 more bathroom. If you are looking for innovative tile from the floor to the walls you should check this place out! Ask for Tony he was awesome! PS they always have sales it'e worth the trip trust me!

She has a wonderful balance of style and technical expertise, and her knowledge made the entire process feel easy and well-guided. Dani's attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine kindness truly stood out. She listened carefully to what we needed and consistently offered thoughtful, well-informed recommendations that aligned perfectly with our vision. In addition, the entire team including her manager and colleagues were equally supportive and pleasant to work with. It's clear that they operate with a high level of coordination and care. They also offer an impressive selection, and the showroom is beautiful and well-organized, making it easy to explore different options. Pricing was consistent with what we saw elsewhere. We're so grateful for the experience and would highly recommend Dani and the team to anyone looking for both expertise and excellent service. Thank you very much!

Lynea and Tracy know their product lines and have in depth construction knowledge. Their expertise was invaluable to me, as a first time home builder. It was a relief to be able to rely on their expertise before ordering. It was shipped from the vendor to their warehouse and then it was repackaged and labeled per room. This was very beneficial as my plumber, electrician, and general contractor were able to look at the labels and see where it went as some of them were similar but went in different areas of the house. They carry most of the best lines in the world. I would highly recommend this fantastic one stop shopping for your home needs. (I also ordered all of my appliances from them.)

Here are a few things that set them apart from other contractors I interviewed: 1) responsive but not pushy. Some stone fabricators in San diego are incredibly pushy. 2) professional- in communication and in the way they do their operations. 3) high tech machinery and a clean cutting room. They let me see the cut template before cutting. 4) high attention to detail. 5) a proper itemized contract. Some contractors would just send me a text message with rates. That's not the way I want to do business, especially when thousands of dollars are being exchanged. The way they did quotes and contracts is what made me pull the trigger. They were mid point on price but for the service and quality you got, i felt it was a great value. I also love giving my money to a nice, hard working family. Thanks Sam, we will definitely use you again and recommend all our friends and family! You will not be disappointed. - sincerely, a high maintenance, overthinking customer :) hi Also, for those curious, the slab name in picture is a quartzite called Levezzi Classic. I purchased it at arizona tile (who is also fantastic). Blackstone had some similar quartzite but i had already put a hold on the stone before i found blackstone.

This place gives you so much inspiration, and you can even slip into a full bathtub to try it 'on'. Haha I've been there twice now and worked with Tara both times on selecting bathroom fixtures/colors/textures etc. She is so knowledgeable and has saved us so much time trying to figure out the website and how to build our project as well as how to order everything. She's super honest as well and doesn't try to upsell. She also has great suggestions and has made our lives dramatically easier. Ferguson has so much to choose from, including hundreds, maybe thousands of items not on the floor, but in different colors, sizes and formats. Even their signature line is amazing - and so well priced. Plus most everything is under warranty and if an item gets damaged upon receipt or in transit, they'll stand behind it. I love that. We're still in the process of choosing everything, but I wanted to write this review now since we're heavily working with Tara and appreciate her input so much. I'll update this when our projects are done.

The flooring and baseboards turned out terrific, it really changes the look and feel of the space. We had picked out something that was not one of their usual suppliers, but that was no problem. They really work with you to get exactly what you want. All the workers were friendly, skilled and left our house clean at the end of the day. My thanks to everyone that worked on our project. Chuck finished the kitchen up and did fine work with our plumbing which required some intricate work to accommodate our layout. I highly recommend Mastercraft and would use them again for any future work.

Of the many options they had the best ideas and the qualified workmen. Mike Garst considered the project from every angle, brought in members of his team on 3 occasions to suggest approaches. When they opened the dry wall we found the supports were rotted & had to be replaced. They built a roof support, replaced damaged wood, added cement inside the walls higher than outside level to prevent leaks, then filled a beautiful solid cement floor and repaired the drywall. Better than good as new, this room boasts a superior foundation that gives me confidence. Every member of Mike's team is punctual, profesional, knowledgeable and courteous. When work was done, Mike came and, on his own account, adjusted the sticky sliding door so it moves smoothly. Mike's boss, Brian, also came several times to look over the project. I feel very fortunate to have had MASTERCRAFT take on this hugely complex project and bring a disaster to a happy ending. They explained options, patiently answered my questions and were courteous and pleasant throughout. The quality of their work is outstanding. I will absolutely hire them again - next project plumbing!

Like any major…read moreproject, we started by reaching out to a couple of vendors to get quotes, that's where we met Alon, the project manager for Lumina Builders. What immediately stood out to us was that he had ideas and solutions to address our pain points and make enhancements, we wouldn't have ever considered, and didn't just wait for us to tell him how we wanted things. He created a vision for us in that first quote visit. The other contractor we spoke to didn't provide any ideas just asked us how we wanted it. It was a very easy decision to go with Alon and Lumina Builders. Our project was estimated to take 2-3 months and ultimately took two and a half months to complete. We designed a brand new kitchen, addressing all of our concerns and adding a few recommendations from Alon to streamline some areas. They ripped everything out aside from the flooring and walls. We got brand new custom cabinets, custom lighting, and new countertops. Our fridge was moved to a new, more accessible area. Our sink was shifted down to align with the stove for continuity sake (never realized how much I hated it being in a corner previously). We had a new little cabinet built in our little breakfast nook area and we had an appliance garage built to house everything that took up counter space. Everything is so much brighter and more open and, even though we know the demensions are roughly the same, it feels so much wider. We are ecstatic with how everything came out. Alon is a genius. He was responsive to us throughout the project, checking in weekly to see how things were going, giving us peace of mind throughout this process, as first time remodelers. We were indecisive about the primary cabinet color (I was very worried we'd be stuck with something we didn't really like) but he worked with the cabinet makes to give us several samples to choose from. He was very patient with us. We LOVE how everything turned out! We'll definitely be using Lumina Builders for all of our future projects.
