Despite being twice the price of other quotes to strip and re-seal my pavers, I agreed to sign with…read morethese guys on a Thursday, because Isaac said they would work over the July 4th weekend, to be done before a bunch of other contractors started work the following week. I was skeptical, but he'd only agree if I signed right then and there. On Friday, they rolled in at 2pm, worked for maybe 2 hours, asked for 80% of the job money, and went home. When I asked about the lack of progress, they said not worry -- they'd be back tomorrow and be done by Monday. The next day, they never showed up. Nor the day after that. Multiple phone calls and emails to the office went unreturned. On Monday morning, they first tried to claim they never said they would work the weekend. Then they admitted they had, but their truck broke down. If so, why did nobody call me, I asked? They shrugged. They then pointed to other contractors now working in the front yard, and said they couldn't work. I pointed out that there was nothing stopping them from working in the back yard. They stared blankly, then turned around and went home. At this point, I started to feel these guys weren't being completely honest. This feeling would only grow with time. For the next full week, I had to beg each day for them to tell when they were showing up, and what work would they were planning to do, so I could coordinate with the other contractors to be out of their way. Each day, they refused to explain, found another surprise reason they couldn't work, and left without saying anything. And this was not just my opinion: all three other contractor companies working at the same time, at various points, all called to tell me some variation of "your paver guys seem completely clueless." Eventually the work got done, and ended up being decent quality. That is the only reason I'm not leaving one star. But otherwise, this was the most poorly managed, uncoordinated, and questionably honest home contractor I have ever worked with.

Don, the owner, was a very nice and friendly guy. No pressure at all. He came out and gave us an assessment and reasonable options for repair. His company had reasonable pricing and lots of great options. He does the work himself on site with his staff which is awesome. They were very thorough in their exceptional craftsmanship. They power washed the driveway and then proceeded to grind off the old paint. Afterwards the vacuumed the dust on day 1. Then they primed the concrete, painted it on day 2/3 and sealed it on day 4. The high quality textured paint helped prevent slipping when walking it wet. It's built to last decades. Don gave me daily updates and he was very reliable. Great communication! It was a seamless and successful project. It exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this company to paint or repair your driveways or any concrete surfaces.

GOEPOXY - ALL THE WAY!…read more What is epoxy, you ask? Epoxy for garages is a durable, two-part resin coating--typically a mixture of resins and hardeners--applied over concrete floors to create a seamless, chemical-resistant, and high-gloss surface. It protects against oil stains, tire marks, and cracks while lasting up to 10-20 years. It is highly customizable with colors and, for added, strength, can be finished with decorative flakes. Key Features and Benefits are mainly: Durability: Resistant to heavy, impacts, and chemicals, making it ideal for high-traffic garage environments. Easy Maintenance: The smooth, non-porous surface makes cleaning oil spills, dust, and debris quick and simple. Protection: It seals concrete, preventing moisture infiltration, mold, and mildew. Aesthetics: Transforms dull concrete into a polished, bright, or decorative space. Whether you plan on storing or doing many things inside your garage. OR, if you are car enthusiasts (like we are) and want your garage kept bright, remain durable, and look esthetically clean, then getting epoxy done is the way to go. It also helps the valuation of your house increase ($$$$) as well, if you don't already know. And lastly, it makes the garage, a typically dingy place in general to look at, look more esthetically pleasing and welcoming. With that, we decided to partner with Daynan at GoEpoxy for this job. We thought of doing DIY. But if it only lasts about 2ish years, then what's the point? No way jose. We want long lasting, expertly done, in order to make our home look amazing. We gathered several quotes from other companies around the area, but GoEpoxy gave us the most competitive rate for our 2.5 tandem front/back garage. You won't even believe how much the other guys were pricing us at, only for them to do a 1 day rush job. No thank you. I leave this up to the OG, Daynan for this job. After our initial consultation on the phone, Daynan was amazing with keeping us informed of weather updates (wild rainstorm just passed over SD this week), delays, if any, and approximate arrival time. We kept in touch through phone call and text, which was very much appreciated. On the day of our service, he arrived promptly and already knew how to get started with the job. His knowledge and expertise lit up as he guided us on what his approach for completing the project is, how long it'll take, additional areas to cover, all the way up to how to re-engage the garage after the epoxy has completely cured and wanted our garage to auto open/close again. I cannot recommend him enough. As a matter of fact, he was recommended to us by someone from our builder, which again, goes to show the level of craftsmanship, expertise, and loyalty other companies have with GoEpoxy.
