Are you kidding me?? Under NO circumstance do buisness with this company. I'm a very level heading hard working professional, and run my own company, and can't believe how poor their service is. I ordered 16k worth of items my first day there, had all of it installed by Pacific Express. They failed to install my microwave properly, as it required a new trim kit. After waiting for 4 months, and calling and complaining every two weeks, their only response is "We will refund your money for the trim kit". After 2 weeks still no check. And shouldnt I get my installation fee also refunded??...I complained to Pacific Sales about it, telling them that they are losing a wealthy customer, and they wouldnt respond or try to help in any way. I understand they are two companies, but if your buy a product then the installation company must also be accountable to the selling company. NOBODY CARES. and their prices ARE NOT THAT GREAT. I would never take the risk of doing business with them again. I would rather spend a few more dollars somewhere else, with a company that cares about their customers. PACIFIC SALES/EXPRESS sucks. I've been lucky these past few years. So much I was able to purchase a home for a rental and earn some extra income. I didn't want this home to be stocked with cheap plumbing and appliances because it's a higher-end rental in an upscale neighborhood. I knew the only way to get my return was to install it with the best. I purchased appliances before at Pacific Sales in Chula Vista, but seeing how my new property was La Costa I decided to visit the store located at 6100 Paseo Del Norte. It's right across the street from the Carlsbad Premium Outlets, which I visited after my trip to Pacific Sales. I found the Carlsbad store to be one of my better shopping experiences. From the moment I entered a pleasant woman greeted me from the desk and asked how she could help. I told her I needed to purchase appliances so she called for an appliance specialist, but they were all with other customers at that moment. I went to the plumbing showroom and browsed before being approached by a very nice man named Mike. He helped with my selection of kitchen sinks, faucet, disposal, and toilets. He offered me their finance, which I used ( I never turn down 12 months, no interest ), and when he was done he introduced me to an appliance employee named Kelly. Kelly showed me a variety of brands like KitchenAid, Bosch, and GE Profile. He was very patient and explained things in a way I could understand. He offered recommendations, which I needed seeing how I'm no expert. In the end we chose the KitchenAid brands. The rebates and 20% discounts were too hard to pass up, not to mention the quality for what we were getting. I made my purchase with a very friendly young lady named Genie (I think that's what her tag read?), who offered me their extended service coverages, which I bought for my fridge and micro-oven. The whole experience was very pleasant. I felt my time was well-spent, and I bought products which will enhance my new property. I've been a fan of Pacific Sales in the Chula Vista area and highly recommend this store in Carlsbad. I received professional, courteous, and friendly assistance you don't find these days. Not to forget some terrific savings on discounts and rebates. And then I went across the street to shop at the Carlsbad Outlets! read more

On January 18, 2012, I visited Pacific Sales in Carlsbad just to look at the showroom and check out prices. I read the reviews on YELP and know there are two sides to a story. I was very pleased with the showroom and how all the appliances were hugely represented from low end to high end brands. When I walked in the store I was greeted and felt no stress and spent time looking at everything. I knew what I wanted as I researched all brands over the last year before deciding on either LG or Bosch. Desi, my salesperson was very, very informative and took the time to listen to what I was telling him about my kitchen needs before showing me the appliances with the features I wanted. I am happy to say that I purchased a complete stainless steel Bosch kitchen from Pacific Sales that day. I have been pricing out the same Bosch appliances at Sears, Home Depot and a few other stores (on-line as well) and not one of the stores mentioned above had showrooms that showcased entire brands they sold. There are some things in life that you can buy direct from a catalog or on-line and major appliances are not one of them. Pacific Sales does it right with their showrooms packed with all types of styles, brands and models. Upgraded our cooktop, oven and microwave and bought the appliances from Lowes and paid $40 for their installers to do a pre-install 'Detail'. The Install company Lowes uses called 'All-Ray' came out, took apart our appliances to confirm size/voltage, etc and put them back in a shoddy manner (they didn't even screw the bottom screws of the oven they took apart and the oven was off-kilter on purpose to demonstrate needed shimmy). All-ray came back with an increased outrageous quote of $660 (including $270 of ADDITIONAL labor/material costs after the detail that were completely bogus)! I cancelled the Lowes order and went to Pacific Sales and actually ended up buying the same appliances with almost 10% further discount beyond Lowes price matched from the best internet price AND Pacific sales's recommended installer was AWESOME! We used one of their recommended installers called Brian's Installation (760-421-2564) who really paid attention to the details in the installation and did the full install for under $300 (LESS than half the price of All-ray!). Brian confirmed that their quote included bogus install adders for Shimmying, stock tape for the cooktop and added cost for microwave fillers (none of which Brian charged for). Total savings for the exact same appliances/install was over $600. read more

We started our appliance search at Pacific Sales in Carlsbad because frankly, the hours worked for our schedule that night. We figured we'd hit other stores after doing preliminary research there. We had Kevin Wisherd as our sales consultant, he was extremely knowledeable and great at helping us select the right appliances given our family's needs - so Pacific Sales was our first & last stop. I never imagined raving about appliances, but our Bosch oven and diswasher are dreamy. We also needed a fridge and microwave. We selected a Samsung fridge that has performed great and as promised - we did have a snafu with the manufacturer's stickers ruining the finish on the doors and Michael Mulholland from Pacific Sales worked with the mgt team to have that fixed. They didn't have the right size microwave, so Kevin Wisherd advised us of the ideal options and helped us find it! Over the past several years I have purchased many appliances from Pacific Sales. Recently, in doing a kitchen remodel, the new refrigerator would not fit it's opening properly, due to thick wood paneling that was added to the doors to match the new cabinets. Since we installed the refrigerator (with the help of our own professional installers), Pacific Sales was not obligated in any way to remedy the situation. We ordered another replacement refrigerator, expecting to have to deal with disposing of the previous one ourselves. We casually mentioned the mistake we made to salesperson Diane and she, after talking with her manager, announced to our surprise that they were taking back the original refrigerator in an exchange for the new one!
