When I finally tracked down the manager in person, he was unhelpful and unwilling to work with me on a rug that didn't fit the room it was purchased for. The lack of customer support was especially disappointing given the owner's assurances and the high price point of their products. If you shop here, bring your own tape measure and do not rely on staff advice. Only purchase if you are absolutely certain the rug will fit, because all sales are final.

The fan I wanted was on back-order -- not just at Black Whale but pretty much everywhere -- and wouldn't ship for at least a couple of months. The fan is pricey (I view it as an investment) and instead of having to pay in full upfront for a fan that I would not receive for months, Adam was so kind as to allow me to pay 50% upfront, with the balance to be paid when the fan arrived.
