Wow! Where to begin? Our next-door neighbor used Eddie at Y9 Construction for a complete downstairs renovation in their home. We loved the work Eddie did for them so we hired him to do our renovation which included all new flooring, paint, cabinetry and countertops in the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room, and a new staircase. Y9 Construction has just finished our whole first floor remodel with MBR addition. Eddie (owner) worked with me to design my customized and functional dream home. He was "hands on" from start to finish, showed up on time or would advice of delay, and call promptly when needs arose. He is an efficient project manager having simultaneous crew working at the same time to complete the project. His contractors especially electrician (Jose and crew), plumber (Igor and crew), quartz installer (Jose), stairs installer (Carlos), structural (Gilbert) and Jake, Pedro are all professionals and are craftsmen. They had great camaraderie and I loved the positive energy (often heard them singing and laughing) they all had while building my home. Aside from Eddie's professionalism, I loved that he was considerate and generous. He helped me set up my old stove in the garage so my family and I can still have a temporary "kitchen." He even connected my camping sink without being asked. I appreciated the additional details like closet organizers assembly and pantry shelves installation that really completed everything for me. As a gift, board and batten accent wall was added to the MBR. He was very "cool headed" when issues had to be resolved and his prices were fair. I conducted my own surveying of additional labor that needed to be added and his estimates were very comparable. He also has his own shop and supplies cabinets which helped cut costs. In summary, Eddie treated my home project as his own. The project was completed within the time that was estimated. I would work with him again in the future. read more

I'm so thankful I was referred to them when building out my 3200 sqft business, which required a ton of millwork. Some of the milkwork I needed was custom, while other areas I needed to save. Y9 fleshed out my dream kitchen sketches faithfully. The kitchen was 1970s styled closed in and the redesign opened up the kitchen into the dining area. Cabinets with doors are not useful since only articles close to the front are visible. Drawers with full extension provides storage visibility and easy retrieval. The only hanging cabinet is for spices. Eddie suggested that the island with full length drawers be on wheels (genius!), and now space for drawer openings on both sides are maximized, and dining area can be stretched or kitchen can accommodate more people. Cabinetry is meticulous and maple grains were book-matched. Eddie is very ethical and responsive. Highly recommended. read more

I just completed the renovation in my kitchen and it's beyond awesome. I found Y9 Construction on line looking on reviews and I don't regret that choice for a second. First we met with Eddie who took care of the design (mine was an extreme remodel with a total room addition). Eddie was great understanding all my requests. He is s pro at designing 3D and gives you a clear idea how it will be in reality. I changed my mind a couple of times but he was really patient and focused on my satisfaction. After that we got in the real construction and Jamal was the guy in charge of that. He is really professional and shows up pretty muck every day making sure that everything is on schedule. He really listens when you have concerns and he does his best to explain or solve problems. The guy who actually built and mounted our kitchen is Luis, a very tall, sweet guy! He was awesomely precise in everything he did and he did a lot...plumbing, fixing my hardwood floor, building cabinet, crow molding, electrical work. He can do literally everything and very well. The initial meeting was evaluating all that I wanted for our bathroom. They gave us suggestions and prices for what we wanted and what might be more cost effective considering our budget. They were respectful, communicative, clean and timely with the demolition. As well as the preparation and installation. Great mid-range, semi-custom cabinets. I wanted new modern cabinets for my master bath and I saw some pics of Y9 cabinets online - I purchased two 46" cabinets (one for each sink) and had space in the middle to fill and they made a custom size cabinet to match the others and fit in perfectly. I have a brother that owned a high end custom cabinet shop so I'm a little spoiled/picky (my husband says I'm a cabinet snob, not true ;), and I had them come back a couple times to tweak things for me, which they did promptly an kindly. I had approximately $40K in kitchen and floor remodel work done by Y9 Construction. They were a dream contractor and all of their workers were meticulous in their craft. They also all knew each other and got along really well. They were quiet and clean - this is another key point for me. I have had vendors who are loud and play crazy music and I do not like that. I am very pleased with my new kitchen. I had the following work done: Kitchen cabinets replaced; Counter tops replaced; TV nook and fireplace tiled; Downstairs floor replaced. Y9 and Joseph were particularly patient with me. It took me from September to January to find all the parts and pieces I wanted to upgrade my kitchen and flooring. I knew what I did not like, but not what I liked. Joseph at Y9 is a true artist. He helped me figure out what I liked and helped me with color coordination. He also came up with various changes that helped create more storage in my one-person kitchen. The storage he created has been wonderful. Joseph took me all around to find flooring I loved. I am thrilled with my cabinets too. They are considered semi-custom with some built-in storage that Joseph had built just for me. They finished the work on time and within budget. I thought they would run over time but they did a great job. Do yourself a favor and interview Y9 and they will amaze you. I will use them again when I am ready to have my master bath remodeled. We wanted to have the entire kitchen remodeled since it was worn out. After careful consideration, we decided to ask Y9 to take care of this project. Because their quote was very competitive and they had a specific color of the cabinet we were looking for. The final outcome was superb. Y9 created a beautiful kitchen for us in relatively short amount of time. We are really glad that we hired Y9 for our project. The project manager was Jamal, and the installer was Noe. Both of them are Y9 employees, and they did an outstanding job. Jamal has great sense of responsibility and was on top of everything. He was quick to come up with the resolution when an issue arose. Noe is very reliable, and he can do almost everything. Actually he did demolition, wall repair, cabinet installation, flooring, painting, appliance installation, fixture installation, etc. The only subcontractor who came to my home was a countertop installer. Everything else was done by Y9 themselves. Another thing I like about Jamal and Noe is that they always listened to me carefully and gave me some good suggestions. Y9 recently completed work on my 27-year old condo. I had both bathrooms remodeled, created a walk-in closet, installed recessed lighting, put in new baseboards, and painted throughout the entire interior. I absolutely love my newly updated home! It's a huge improvement, in terms of aesthetics and more importantly, functionality. While the process of remodeling is never easy, my project manager, Joseph, calmed my nerves throughout the process and smoothed out any bumps encountered along the way. I appreciated his efforts to stay within budget and get the project completed on time. There were some minor additional costs, primarily to bring a couple of things up to current building codes. While the project was originally estimated to take 3-4 weeks, I did add on a few items, so it ended up taking 6.5 weeks. Given the amount of work that was done, I think that was a fair amount of time. Family and friends that have visited my "new" condo have commented on the high quality of work. If you are thinking of a remodel, do it! Now that I've been living in my newly updated home for a few months, I couldn't be happier with the changes. read more

i have always been afraid to do any home project but I took a chance and I am so gratefull I sent my information out for a bid on google and Ullie from Y9 was the first to respond and offer to meet me that same day. Other companies responded days even weeks later but I had to work around their schedule and they were not so interested. Ullie and Y9 treated me like I was the only person that mattered even though my project was fairly simple. They did what they said and made sure I was happy the entire time.
