Drink orders were taken quickly and everyone found a delicious cocktail to begin. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip and fried deviled eggs to start. Everyone loved the dip as there was hardly any left by the time I eyeballed it. That was ok though because I was focused on those eggs. I love me a devlled egg and had never tried a lightly fried one before. The quick fry does heat the entire bite up so just be mindful. It was good but I'd likely try another appetizer first. Then, we got down to the entree orders. They do offer a bistro plate that has a 4 oz filet on top of a little piece of garlic toast. It comes with a side of soup, corn chowder, and a bistro salad. I have to admit, it was a perfect size for me. The corn chowder was creamy and delicious, not too much roasted corn and just perfect amount of heavy cream ans spices. My filet was perfectly cooked, medium rare. I asked and received some creamy horseradish for it, which was delicious. The bistro salad had an Asian vinaigrette and was perfectly crunchy to pair with the filet. My peer ordered the Reuben sandwich which looked pretty amazing. Another ordered the meatloaf special on a bed of mashed with gravy which also looked incredible. We split two "butter cakes" which were so good. Yellow cake with an external crunch of sugar crystals, topped with a berry compote and whipped cream. Now, THAT was a standout among desserts. Go there. Get some. Life is too short for boring food. The staff were all incredible as well, very attentive. This place may become a "must do" while we're in town moving forward so keep it up, Nick!

It was hard to have a conversation but the burrito definitely made up for it. Super delicious and what you expect a burrito to taste like and more. The tater tots were also yummy and super crispy. YUM! The French Toast for me was underwhelming and it was cooked inconsistently with the other toast it came with ... wasn't my fav and wouldn't order again. Dry and not for me. Parking isn't my fav either, but I love the area.

After eating so many heavy meals two times a day for 4 days, wanted/needed something lighter. Started with the yogurt plate which had nice fresh fruit of apples, grapes, blackberries and bananas along with granola and honey. This was good. We also had the avocado toast - generous portions. It looked like it was one full avocado on two slices of hearty toast with green goddess dressing. Had 2 poached eggs (perfect), 2 slices of crips bacon (also perfectly crisp) and a side of fruit - this had the same as the yogurt plate but also had figs and plums!. The french omelette is traditional, delicate, simple and delicious. The side salad is quintessential French - greens with a light dressing. It also had the same side of fruit. Lovely way to start the day!

From the moment we walked in, the vibrant, rustic-chic atmosphere set the perfect tone for a memorable evening out with a group. The food was phenomenal--every dish was bursting with flavor, creative, and perfectly prepared for sharing. However, what truly made the night special for us was our waitress, Angel. She provided top-notch hospitality from start to finish. Angel was incredibly warm, attentive to our whole table, and highly knowledgeable about the menu, guiding us toward some fantastic choices. Her friendly energy completely elevated our dining experience.Between the delicious food, the great beachside vibes, and Angel's exceptional service, this was easily one of the best meals of our trip. We cannot recommend this spot enough and will definitely be back the next time we are in town!

The place is really cute, clean and just a little upscale - great for locals and visitors alike. As we seated, we ordered our drinks. They were all great and quickly served. They do know how to make a nice, dirty martini. We started with the house made focaccia and cheddar biscuits. That focaccia was warm, light and delicious with butter. Everyone loved it. Then, the biscuits showed up and stole the show. Order the biscuits. I ordered the sea scallops dish, very tasty and light. The other standout on the table was the Monday night special of fried chicken. My peer and boss split that dish and it was plenty. Half of a chicken, perfectly battered and fried! For dessert, we all shared the cheesecake and budino. Very cute place for brunch events as well. All of the staff were very good and multiple people helped serve the table. Go there, get some. Life is too short for boring food.

Food: Came here for brunch on a Saturday morning. The Huevos Rancheros was awesome and good (5 out of 5). Jammy over easy eggs pled right into my sauced up tortilla chips. The side of beans were spot on with it. Also the Bloody Mary is bloody darn good with a big slice of bacon backing that up. The fish tacos were delicious as well as the Eggs benedict. Star of the show was the big cinnamon roll with its oozy-gooey goodness. A must for brunch and they do sell out. Service: Great service and full water glasses. Fast, efficient, friendly, and upscale. Ambiance: Enjoying brunch with ocean breezes and views. How can a day get better than that unless you hate the ocean?!? Always a great atmosphere at the Strand House.

There's metered parking in the lower lots that's convenient. The menu here is pretty extensive, but we got to order a number of things. My favorite was the french fries, they were well fried and seasoned. They came with a ton too! We couldn't even finish it. Their bluefin tuna was really good too and they also offered to make it GF for people in our party. Their yellowtail crudo was a bit too fishy for us. Their octopus was really great as well! For entrees, I tried the salmon and the short rib. The salmon was cooked well, but a really small portion for the price. The veg with it was a bit too acidic for me. The short rib and potatoes were amazing! Would definitely order again!

So it's good for a large group or if you have any pick eaters/children. I ordered: Fried tofu - crispy shell and soft inside, but texture aside, the taste was a bit off. The sauce helped make up for it, but it wouldn't be something I ordered again. Roti - the curry was very sweet which surprised me. I've had this dish elsewhere and usually the curry is spicy-sweet. The roti was flaky! Strawberry bingsoo - had more syrup than I'm used to for bingsoo. Otherwise my favorite dish I tried here. It's their prerogative, but I think this place would do better with a more focused menu. Based on the other reviews, there's clearly some star dishes people routinely order so it might be cost effective for them to pare down whatever isn't doing as well. If I'm in the area, I'll give them another try and see if the dishes mentioned in the reviews are better than what I ordered.
