My daughter and I were in need of some pampering, so we decided to treat ourselves to pedicures and gave Absolute Nails a try for the first time. I'm so glad we did! The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and they did an amazing job on both of our pedicures. The salon was clean, relaxing, and we left feeling refreshed. We'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend! read more

Linda give the BEST pedicures. I never have to ask her to "cut the sides", or note anything because she is so detail oriented. And her massages.... I have to FIGHT to stay awake! I also love the structured manicures from Tom. He's also very detailed and my nails come out perfect every time. I also love that they check on me and are super polite, but I'm more of a quiet/catch up on my thought time person and they are respectful of that. Highly recommend! read more

I'm so glad I found Absolute Nails! I came across them on Google and Yelp last minute on Father's Day when everywhere else -- including my usual spot -- was closed. I decided to give them a try, and I'm so thankful I did! My feet really needed some love. I've been sick for the past couple of months and hadn't been able to make it to any nail shop. They didn't just give me a pedicure -- they made me feel like a new person. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was amazing. They greeted me with snacks and smiles. The salon was clean, peaceful, and everyone was so kind -- even working on a holiday. The gentleman who did my nails was so detailed with the cleaning and shaping that I didn't even need polish -- they looked that good! This was truly a five-star experience from start to finish. And with the salon being right by tons of shopping, it's super convenient. I will definitely be back! read more

I've been visiting absolute regularly for about 6 months. After trying many different salons in Stockton this one has been the best for me. The salon is clean and they do not tend to be overly crowded. I make my nail appointments when Ana. She appears to be the best at doing the type of shapes and designs that I like. Ana is honest, kind and skilled. She moves quickly while paying close attention to detail. read more

Came here on a Sunday afternoon because I needed a pedicure. I called around 1pm and was told to come around 1:30pm. I was seated by 1:40 but didn't get my service until 2. I didn't mind waiting but just know they get pretty busy!!! Be prepared to wait; their chairs were full. Jennifer helped me and I am super impressed! One of the best and cleanest gel pedicures I've gotten. It seems like they really take their time with each client and I never felt rushed despite the line of people waiting for their turn. I would return, just probably during a weekday when they're less busy. read more

In town for court with 4 hours to kill between hearings. I was desperately in need of a pedicure. Absolute Nails was open on a Monday and easy to find. I am happy with the results. The technician did a great job trimming my nails which I find many do not do enough. He did a good job with the pedicure overall. The price is comparable to other salons. I was profiled and refused service. I have been here in the past and had a good experience so I went again today. my normal tech wasn't in yet. they just opened and no one was there. i asked for a full set they said they had time. I sat down then they whispered in the back and sent a man up front that asked me to leave and said they were full with no one in the shop. I have face tattoos and was wearing clothes for the gym. I will never be back. I have never caused an issue for this business and always tipped well. read more

I often hate making appointments for a service and then having to wait, but luckily I didn't have that issue at this place. I've been here now 3 times and it's been pleasant each time. Yesterday when I went in, I found a design I though was kind of simple I wanted in a gel manicure but the lady helping me seemed newer and could not get it right. I had already started drying my gel polish so we couldn't really fix it without taking it all off- I was a bit annoyed but just told her how to fix it so we could make it look semi decent. - at this point Anna, I believe that's her name- stepped in and toon over. They both apologized multiple times. Anna literally started from scratch and gave me what I wanted. All in all- 2 hours later we were done and I was annoyed with the time but pleased with the result. **For the first time in Nail history** Anna said don't worry about paying us for your hand nails, just pay us for your feet- we know we took a lot of your time. I was shook as all of these nail technicians are about their money, they will do a terrible job/ take forever/ make you bleed but will never even give a discount- let alone free?! These people care about taking care of their client. Because of this service I will be back and recommend it in the area! read more

Okay guys! I totally forgot to update my review. I've been back 3 times since my review. My nails actually lasted a month and a half. No chipping, lifting, or breaking which is unheard of with my nails and the job that I do everyday. My pedicure lasted about 2 months. My second set lasted a month and could have went longer. Ana really is the best. She's very professional and she knows her stuff. Always on time and she is perfect at picking colors that will compliment your skin tone. I usually call to make an appointment and everyone is always friendly over the phone as well as in the shop. I can't remember who did my pedicure but Everyone here can do pedicures. If you're like me and struggle finding a quality nail salon who specializes in natural nails that last this is your go to place!! read more

Nice ambiance with a flair of elegance. I got a mani and pedi. I did basic of both the gel was not inclusive to the pedi. I had a better pedi than what I received. The mani was a better work than the pedi. Three people worked on me. I figured I came in as a wak-in at about 4 pm 3 days ago. I left about 6 after which was past the closing time. Despite that, I paid. I can come by another day at a different time to see if there was a difference of result. read more

I've been coming here for a while and I really love this place. Today I had an appointment with Cindy to get my manicure and I told her about how I could not speak due to losing my voice and she was so sweet about it. She gave me a cough drop and wished me well. Then when it was time for me to get my pedicure she helped me pick what I wanted and voiced that to the person that was doing my pedicure. She also, brewed me some lemon tea to help with my throat and checked on me a few times throughout my pedicure. It was so sweet and made me so happy. Cindy and the others there always do such a good job and I felt that today was spectacular. I will always continue to go in for my nails and will always request Cindy! read more

Terrible experience.. The owner was very rude. As I asked her for a certain color she replied with, "I don't know ask her".. The lady that did my nails took near two hours to do her dip powder method. My nails look like chewing gum. SUPER BUMPY and wet.! I'm never the type to not pay for a service. As I preceded to pay, the white from my nails was coming off. I showed the man that took my payments and all he did was look at them for damn near a minute. I was over it and just left. Never coming back here again. Definitely not worth my 60 dollars.. read more

Have not had the best experience here my last 2 visits. The first time I came here, my nail had gotten infected. I was very upset because this never happens to me. I had to go back for them to remove my nail. The second time I was unsure about going again because of my last visit but I thought why not. My second visit was worse than the first. I came in asking for a design but it was way too expensive for my liking. So I simply asked for a simple french tip full set. The nail tech had said no and refused to give me french tips?? This started to get me upset because I don't understand why I can't get french tips. So to make it easy on him I then asked for plain black nails with no designs. He told me no again and refused to give me what I asked for. I was very upset because i'm the client coming in and it felt like he wanted to do his own thing. After saying no to all my ideas he painted green marble on my nails leaving so much green polish on my cuticles. Holes through the polish and the sides unpainted. I was not be satisfied with my nails at all and they charged me full $85 for a design I did not ask for! My nails were so bumpy and messy. I had to call and complain to come back just for french tips and they did not give me some of my money back for plain french tips. I will not be going back. read more

I know this is very important to many of us when going to a salon, so I wanted to mention it. Overall, I've always had a great experience here and would definitely recommend this salon!

I was not argumentative and walked out feeling super disrespected and sad knowing that I couldn't stand up for myself the way I needed to. I was very displeased with my previous nail shop service so I decided look for a new nail shop. I checked on yelp and I came to Absolute Nails yesterday to get a fill. I did a walk-in instead of making appointment. It's a brand new, clean and really nice nail shop in town. People here are friendly and nice. The price is reasonable to me because they use OPI products. I thought I found my new to go place; however, it turned out not as I expected. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a nice lady whose name I later knew Cindy, the owner. My nails were done by different girl who introduced Cindy "sisi" or Cindy #2. It took her an hour to finish the fill and my nails look as fine as It was done by the previous shop. I am not so picky about my nails but the hospitality and professionalism. During the whole time Cindy #2 did my nails, she kept complaining, created drama and talked behind the owner's back to me. She started that they have similar name Cindy and the owner asked her to change her nickname to Cindy #2 and now Cindy "SiSi" and then she escalated the story more negatively. It was my first time visiting. I was here to look for better nail services and to relax. She didn't know about me. I also own a business so I know that most client doesn't want to get involve into personal issues. I didn't want to listen to her crisis either. By the time I left, the owner said bye to me and I heard Cindy#2 said to the owner "She will be coming back for sure!!!".... I will not likely to return. read more

The place is clean, has a clean bathroom, has convenient parking, is organized, and smells nice (besides the smell of acrylic and other chemicals). However, it is pretty cramped inside. There is not a lot of ways to walk anywhere without having to contort a little bit. That being said, that is not the reason I took 2 stars off my rating; it is because the service here is inconsistent. The first time it was a pleasant experience, the second time I found it strange the staff pointed a finger at me before laughing about something, and the third time it was okay at best. This most recent visit, the lady servicing my mom had a little attitude and the gentleman servicing me did not check with me if I liked my french tips or not (when they all checked and asked last time) before curing them. As you can see, he was most definitely playing in my toes. I did not want anymore trouble today, so I did not really bother to ask for it to be corrected. Although, I did ask my technician if it was too late for him to correct it, to which he said "It's already dry". I was already overstimulated with the place being packed like sardines on a Thursday morning and just wanted to leave. I am especially disappointed since they have done better in the past. I really do not know what the issue could be since I have always been polite, said please and thank you, tipped more than 15% every time (except for this last time), etc. I hope they can do better.

The original set wasn't done by Rose Nails, but the nail they replaced fell off within three days. When I returned to have it fixed, I was told there was a long wait and that they might not have any availability for the rest of the day. Considering I had spent over $100 on a fill and pedicure during my previous visit, I wasn't willing to leave without getting the nail repaired. I ended up waiting over an hour for a repair that took less than 15 minutes. What made the experience even more frustrating was that while I was waiting, two Caucasian customers walked in and were accommodated despite me being told there was no availability left that day. The customer service was disappointing, and the way the situation was handled left a very negative impression. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this salon.
