Been coming here for years now! Tina is amazing at nails and her hubby gives the best pedicure ever! They are a small local business that was severely affected by Covid. I got my nails done for the first time by Minh at Sequin Nails today. I'd been struggling to find a nail technician that made me feel comfortable as I am disabled and need to stay in my wheelchair at all times and my concern is when I have to get my toenails polished because I know it can be a challenge for some to work around that. Minh made me feel comfortable and did the best he could to accommodate my needs. I am satisfied with his work but most of all I am happy with his customer service. I will continue to come back to him. I always get a basic manicure with gel polish and glitter over my natural nails. My daughter also got a manicure with gel polish by Brian. The owner did my pedicure and he was so rude. He did a horrible job! I've never had a pedicure that hurt until today, he nipped me at least twice, and cut my toes all jagged. His nail started bleeding during service and he didn't do anything about it, it felt so unsanitary! I literally made an appointment to get my toes redone elsewhere for this upcoming week! Absolutely horrific experience today! Had acetone SOAKING on my acrylic nails and toes which caused it to eat up my acrylic and skin around my nails. On top of that they had to fill my nails due to mistake with NO APOLOGY when all I asked for just a gel polish change. The fill was done horribly and cannot believe these individuals have a license to do this. They were making me feel as if it was my fault. Cried for an hour they look so bad. Will have to get them fixed in Vegas prior to event. I'd give no stars if I could!!! I've been getting my nails done for 30 yrs and never had them look so bad!!! I read Stacy's review and wholeheartedly disagree with the statement concerning Tina and Minh being racist. I've been getting my nails done at Sequin Nails ever since they first opened and have personally observed walk-ins of many different races and genders, as well as met and talked with steady customers who are not white. Non white walk-ins have gotten appointments while I have been there. Pulling the race card on people who are exactly the opposite of what you say is unfair and damaging to their reputation. When I say not white, I mean Asian, Fillipino, African American, Mexican, Vietnamese and some I cant even guess! They have steadily built up their business and are very busy so walking in is usually not going to result in an appointment and I have observed many walk-ins get turned away, white and non white. I chose to come here for my first time based on its good reviews and proximity to my house. I wish I hadn't. I arrived as a walk-in at 11am today (Sunday). I didn't exactly expect an immediate appointment and was asked to come back at 1pm. Okay, that's fine. I had other stuff to do. I came back at 12:50pm. I wasn't acknowledged even though the nail tech looked up at me. I sat down in the waiting area and she didn't speak to me for another ten minutes, and it was only to tell me she was going to so someone else first and then me. Okay? You made me an appointment for 1pm. I waited until 1:30pm before she *finally* sat me down. The station was a disaster...full of nail dust and grit. I'm sorry, that's just gross. But I needed my nails done today (I'm getting married tomorrow and couldn't go to my normal place). So I stayed. She started roughly filing my nails, hitting my knuckles painfully multiple times. I dealt with it. She was clearly in a rush and kept saying how it was a busy day and she had to go fast. Thanks for the relaxing manicure I guess? Then she started clipping my cuticles and in her hurry, she cut my finger deeply. She cut off a huge chunk of my skin at the nail bed. I started bleeding everywhere. She didn't even say sorry. First she tried GLUING my skin to make it stop bleeding. No luck. Then she poured blue liquid on it and as it burned the hell out of me, she assured me it was "antiseptic". At this point, I was done. I stopped talking and just wanted to leave. While she did my nails (manicure and gel polish), I watched her and her other nail techs make appointments on top of one another and try to squeeze people in. People ended up waiting despite having appointments. They accepted multiple clients who ran late. Which is exactly the reason my "scheduled appointment" was half an hour late on THEIR part and not mine. So this place clearly over books. I get it. More people = more business, but if you can't service the people you have well, then you'll lose clients and it's worthless. In the end, she did a terrible job on my nails (totally uneven paint job and oh yeah, bodily injury) and charged me $28. She even laughed about cutting me, saying she'd only done it once in 25 years. I wasn't laughing. It wasn't funny. I'm seriously unhappy with my entire experience here. Thanks. I'm never coming back, and I will refer nobody here. read more

The place is clean and procedures are sanitary. They really take the time to do a good job and even give you a little baggy with file, toe separators and some other items that to can bring back on your next appointment, which i really like. I recently moved back into the area after almost 8 years. I am so excited to say that Tina and her husband have not changed one bit. Still the sweetest, most outgoing and pleasant couple. Mind you I live down the street so it would be convenient to become their customer since I just live two minutes away but they turn me down every time I walk in , the main lady will say she's going to check if there's time she'll go check her "book" and within one second of checking she'll say they can't when it's 1:00pm and they close at 5pm lol this has happened a few times already .. they're racist if you're not white they will turn you down! Although they do accept walk ins, they also have several appointments so they try to squeeze walk ins when possible, luckily when I got there someone had cancelled. Since they do get pretty busy try to make an appointment if possible. I did have to wait around 10 minutes, but that's wasn't a problem for me. I got a manicure and pedicure with Minh and I really enjoyed my experience with him. He took his time with my manicure and did a lovely job. I have extremely bad cuticles and he made sure my nails were perfect in the end. He pays attention to every little detail and does an amazing job. He did my pedicure as well and also did a great job. I've been coming to sequin nails pretty consistently maybe for almost 2 months. They're usually pretty good, but yesterday my service was terrible. Yesterday I visited sequin for a re-gel polish, and to fix a broken nail. At the salon, I got my nails done by a lady that has never done my nails before. My nails were long, and the broken nail was fixable. She asked me do you want me to cut your nails? I said only a little bit, I like to keep my nails long. She cut my nail so short, and asked me, "is this okay?" Like what can I say she already cut it. The whole service was rushed. The base coat she literally covered the whole tip of my finger, she cut me, my gel polish was messed up in the process, she kept painting on my fingers, my gel polish is all bumpy, and gave me the ugliest nail shape ever! I honestly have the nails of a 5 year old. I always leave tips, but yesterday I didn't, and honestly I feel like I shouldn't have even paid for the service. The whole service was terrible from start to finish. Not sure if I'll be back. read more

I went here for the first time yesterday after finding them on Yelp and seeing the pics of lots of gorgeous nails. I made an appointment with the owner, Tina. She was so nice and helpful! It was a pleasure meeting her and getting my fill and pedi done by her. My nails came out so good! I get nothing but compliments on them. They have a couple of TVs in the shop but it was very relaxing listening to the new age soothing music they played. Tina is great with designing nails. She is quite an artist and she really pays close attention to details and what customers like. After one visit, I have decided that I am going to be a regular customer at this place! The prices are reasonable and comparable to other shops. Tina's customer care and designs are impressive. She really takes care of her customers and coming from a customer service background, that says a lot! Great customer service is always a plus when I'm spending money for a little pampering! I came in for a refill with gel coat they charged me 40$ you can definitely see where she over filed and most nails are crooked not to mention I originally went in for a French tip design but they didn't have any nude powder to refill what I had .. so she refills with a normal pink acrylic it looked so bad I had no choice but to paint the whole nail the heat on my nails from that drill was crazy I definitely do not recommend read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE !!!!!!! I told THE OWNER that my mother was diabetic he was the one performing the pedicure on her ! Please keep in mind I told him almost 5 times that she was diabetic now she can barely walk her feet are on fire. He not only handle her feet extremely ruff he left the top of her feet almost raw trying to scrub her dark marks off when they are permanently there. THEN they charge you for a bag of supplies that they should supply even. Left out upset paying $111 for two pedicures and the owners wife talking under her breathe because there was no way I was tipping them after the horrible service.
