Let me start off by saying: I was in Stockton for a conference. Normally, this conference is held down south (in Anaheim or San Diego), so when we heard it was in Stockton, there were definitely some grumblings. I kept hearing, "Be careful," "Watch where you go," and "Don't go out at night." It was constant. However, I had nothing but kindness from every single person I encountered in Stockton; and this salon was no exception! I called as soon as I checked into my hotel to set up an appointment, and they were able to fit me in that evening. It's a tradition of mine to get a pedicure on the first day; just to relax, unwind, and have pretty toes! I found this salon on Yelp after seeing all the amazing reviews, and now I absolutely understand why. The manicurist was so kind and friendly, and she gave me the best calf massage I've ever had (she even mentioned my legs were very tight!). She was incredibly detailed and took her time with every step. I spent about an hour and twenty minutes there, and it felt wonderful to be pampered and not rushed. This place is truly a gem; I would definitely be a regular if I lived locally! read more

I called them after having a bad experience with another local Nail Salon. They took me in within 15 minutes thank God they had the time to help. Then nail technicians there took their time. Made sure to not compromise my nail bed further and delivered quality work. I especially appreciate that the nail tech took his time to explain his approach and what he recommended. I moved to Stockton from Hayward and tried a few different places and Elegant Nails is best for me. I love that they don't take walk ins and when you make an appointment, they focus that time on you giving you they're best. Bay did my pedicure the past two times, and I really appreciate the time he takes. Give Elegant Nails a chance and find out for yourself, remember no walk ins. I'm so happy to have found this gem! read more

This isn't a typical nail salon. This is what other nail salons strive to be! As everyone says in their reviews, the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Soft music plays and it's never loud and crazy like other places. I always find myself dozing off it's so comfortable! I always get gel on my fingers, and the color selection is never lacking (I always end up with a nude-neutral, just my preference) I don't feel icky after picking a color from the salon like at other places. If you want a clean, relaxing nail salon this is the only choice! Everyone at the salon care about their work and it shows. They are appointment only and I love that. Maggie always does my gel manicure, Kyle does my toes. They're great and I always leave happy, actually happy! read more

The man who did my pedicure did a great job. He was patient and understanding and attentive to what I needed. I didn't have to worry about having him dig for any hang nails. Their salon was also clean and organized. I'll most likely return again when I visit. read more

I went to this shop today for the first time and I loved it! I was greeted upon arrival and offered water which was really nice. The environment itself is very calm and quiet not to mention really clean. I showed the nail tech my inspo pic and she did exactly that. Highly recommended this place. read more

Getting a pedicure here from Maggie was such a pleasant experience. It's modestly-sized so the sound is down to a minimum. It's by appointment only which I was originally skeptical about but given the size of the place, it makes sense. The spa chairs were also on point - just the right amount of pressure on my neck and back. While I don't live in Stockton anymore, this will definitely be my go-to spot whenever I need my nails done. read more

I have been coming to Elegant Nails for at least 4 years. I have tried so many different nail shops and it's hard to find a shop that uses quality supplies, is professional and efficient - until I found Elegant Nails. They run by appointment only. It may take a little while to get your very first appointment but it's totally worth the wait!!! I see Jasmine for my nails and Khai for my pedi's. This is a very professional & clean establishment. They always do an outstanding job! Jasmin is always willing to try different designs I find on Pinterest. I highly recommend them. read more

I love this salon. I've been 5 times now. It's the most quiet and peaceful nail salon I've ever been too. The techs don't talk amongst themselves. They give 2 massages (1 with a scrub and another with lotion). They don't bother with a gimmicky menu to try to upsell customers. They just get to work on getting you relaxed and pampered. I can tell that they have a lot of regulars. It's in a nicer part of Stockton so don't let the location deter you. read more

I scheduled a manicure and pedicure. I was very relaxed the whole time, I could have fallen a sleep at any point. The ambiance was very tranquil. I never felt rushed or anxious. I def recommend this place, being a man, I never felt weird or out of place. I'll def be coming back. read more

The staff is really welcoming and friendly. They are very personable and remember faces. I hadn't been there in years and someone came up to me because they recognized me. This salon is amazing! I came here to get a gel mani and a regular pedi for my wedding, and I have found the place I will go to forever! And the ladies are so sweet and kind in there, too! I called and scheduled my spot for about two to three weeks out, mainly to just guarantee a day shortly before my wedding, and had no issues scheduling the appt. The day before I received a phone call as a reminder of my appt which was so amazing and reassuring! I arrived about 15 minutes early, I wasn't too sure if it was okay to get there earlier or not but I was seated right away! They let me take my time looking for a gel nail polish color for my nails as well which was so nice not feeling extremely hurried or rushed. My nails came out basically exactly how I imagined them! It was absolutely perfect!! I then proceeded to my pedicure which was so amazing. I couldn't believe the amount of time and care they took on me even though it was consider just a "regular pedicure." This salon was so clean and sanitary, they open the package of clean, new tools in front of you. And for the pedicure they cleaned it and placed one of the bag type cover which was so nice to see (the one other place I've gone to didn't use the plastic covers, really gross)... I can't express how happy I am with my nails and the customer service I received! I don't usually get my nails done regularly or even monthly (more on special occasions) but after finishing up with my mani and pedi I definitely scheduled a follow up appt next month. This place has spectacular customer service. First of all me and my friend came Day of, no appointment and they were very busy but fit us in right away. I was just getting over a cold and was coughing and the nail owner brought me water and gave me cough drops. They were really really nice about it too! The place is conveniently located just minutes away from UOP. And the place is really clean and the workers are very attentive. I got French tips that were priced at $25 but the owner gave me a discount for coming in the first time and only charged me $20. It was super clear that they really cared about their customers. Personally I didn't really like my French tips but I think my lady was just new, the owner was looking over her shoulder every now and then. I will definitely come back but I would choose a different lady. read more

I think this is a good business but, I don't like nail salons that are not interested in doing fun designs. I want some fun nails and am willing to pay extra for that. Every time I would come I with a fun design idea I was looked at with a ughh. This is a nail place that prefers solid color easy and quick. Not my jam. Very pretty shop and location just feel they prefer an older more traditional clientele. read more

Ever since my sister told me about this place, it has become my go to. Yesterday, I got acrylics for the first time with Elegant Nails and they did not disappoint, as I expected. Maggie worked on my nails and she did a phenomenal job. It was my first time doing the pink/white ombré and I am obsessed. They are very attentive to details and take their time working on you. I've been looking for a salon that knows how to do a gel mani and I've found it. Oh and on top of that their customer service well beyond great. I called to schedule an appointment they were like 2 weeks out already but I took it anyways because I wanted to come to their salon. So book in advance they seem to be booked throughout the week and have a few opening on the weekend. I called in the beginning of the week to confirm my appointment on the weekend, there was a little mistake at first when I spoke to them and she said she'll get back to me. Literally a few minutes after she called me back and confirmed my services we had scheduled. What else that's nice about them is that they'll call you the day before for an appointment reminder! I've never been to nail salon that calls you to remind you about your appointment! They greet you right away when you walk in. You don't wait forever even when you have an appointment and I hate when that happens because that happened to me plenty of times when I had an appointment at the previous salon I went to. They have plenty of colors to choose from. They use CLEAN and SANITIZED tools for each clients. They open it in front of you! I'm so happy I've finally came to this salon and I don't think I'll be going anywhere else. I just wanna see how long my pedi lasts and if my nails doesn't chip/break so easily. I chose this salon because of it's great Yelp rating and I was not disappointed. I called on a Friday to make an appointment for 2 pedicures and asked for 1p.m. today. They asked if 1:30 was ok and it was fine. I really just wanted to relax and chat with a friend. They even called today to follow up on the appointment and were very friendly. When we got there we were greeted immediately and even though we were about 15 minutes early, they immediately started the water for our pedis. We chose out colors and sat down. The ladies who worked on us were friendly but didn't engage in that forced uncomfortable conversation you often get at salons. They did a great job and really took their time. I never felt rushed or unimportant and I can honestly say this was the best, most professional experience I have had at a nail salon. The prices were reasonable and I will definitely be back! read more

The best nail salon in Stockton. They do appointments only which I love because they aren't rushing to get you out. They take their time, very gentle(not rough or go super fast like most salons I've been to) & very organized! They text you a reminder about your appt. And if they have to change the time they text and ask you. The salon is small, very relaxing & the prices arent bad at all and actually worth it! I don't feel like I've ever wasted my money going here. Everyone on the staff is also so very sweet!! read more

I've been coming to Elegant Nails for over a year now and I almost don't want to share this special gem, so I can still have my choice of appointment times lol but this nail salon is by far my favorite. All the technicians are so nice, gentle and do an excellent job. The atmosphere is very relaxing with instrumental music in the background and all the other clients I have interacted with are extremely pleasant. My nails always come out perfect, all the tools are clean and sanitary and they have so many color options. Couldn't rave about this salon enough! read more

I love this place, quiet and peaceful. the girls are a bit rough but never too much that it's too uncomfortable. the work is always over satisfactory and they have a wide selection of colors. masks are required which i appreciate. used to come with my grandma now i fight for my monthly appointment by myself! read more

Yelp told me it was time for a review. I started coming here after recommendations from friends - "ask for Jasmine." I tried making an appointment with Jasmine, but she was always booked. So I read some reviews and went with Maggie. Maggie is amazing. She takes her time, doesn't rush through my appointments with her. She reminds me a lot of my one of my girlfriend. I've been here several times now. Each time I've been here, I have not been disappointed. I made an appointment with Jasmine for a manicure and I'm so incredibly happy! I had never gotten my nails done before and wanted to do something special for my portfolio show so I showed Jasmine a photo reference and she created the best nails for me. The lady claimed it was an ingrown. My daughter was confused. Once she got her glasses and noticed she rushed the pedicure and the workers were talking back and forth. I wish I had my translating ear buds on. Her toe was hurting walking and in the car I could see where her nail was cut and reshaped into the nail bed why it was bleeding. Black background was hr later. Blue back ground next day. Busy week so didn't go to the shop. Just went on to check if they responded, which they did but notice my full details we gone. The offer to redo the pedicure cause they were busy. If busy is half the shop empty. They do not have enough workers. No one should ever do someone service with our proper full vision. Why would my daughter want to go back and she had a dance performance she couldn't do now due to pain in her toe. My photo update that stayed basic said this service should never happen and hope they contact me. The details need to be known.
