This is the nicest nail salon I have seen in Stockton. They have only been open about 6 months but they are AMAZING. The atmosphere is chill relaxing the guy who I assume is the owner was super friendly offered my son a drink before me and the offered me a mimosa. The lady that worked on my toes was very friendly and a perfectionist which I loved. She was also very nice to my son joking around with him and making him laugh. The salon is HUGE. A lot of pedicure chairs and manicure stations. I also got my eyebrows waxed and she was very nice and talked to me the whole time. They definitely have a customer for life. I had an amazing experience! Annie was absolutely wonderful. She was so patient, took her time, paid attention to every detail, and gave me exactly the nail set I wanted. I couldn't be happier with the results! The nail spa is clean, modern, and has a relaxing atmosphere. The entire salon is phenomenal, and the customer service was outstanding from the moment we walked in. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. My husband and I didn't have an appointment it was our first time visiting but they were able to accommodate both of us without any issues. I've been here twice and complete different experiences each time. The first time I was a walk in for a builder gel fill right as they opened at 9am. I was able to get seen right away which was great. There was a guy that came in who seemed to be just off and walking around the place without purpose and staff seemed uncomfortable. I'm not sure what happened there but I got my fill and was very pleased with my technician and my nails. I came back today a week later with an appointment booked two days prior. Arrived about 20 minutes early and figured I'd wait if there was a wait. I booked the botanical sage detox pedicure online. When I was asked which one I wanted I said "the sage one", she didn't hear me so as I repeated it, the male receptionist that seated me and offered every patron AFTER me a mimosa, I'm assuming translated and told her. She said okay. What she ended up doing was the express pedicure. And it took an hour. Loved my toes but I planned a treat for myself. Not this. I tried explaining to the two employees at checkout what happened and they said "no don't worry, we only charge you for what was done" I tried to explain that wasn't the problem, but they did not seem to care or understand. I chose rey as my tech and he's amazing. The gold pedicure is a must try at least once. I did wish that it came with hot paraffin wax but since it comes with a foot mask which btw tears easily and doesn't make your feet as soft would probably be my only complaint. So first off I have to admit this was not for myself, but my wife. I reached out to few Nail Salon, Sleek Nails replied very fast, and told me they have giftcards, or I can attach it to the account / bill. They also had a very nice website, inwhich i had no Idea on these nails, tips, gel, I was lost... I Know how fires, and how they breathe, I know nothing of nails, and feet, eww... LOL Anyways, I tried to get the appointment online and my Credit card just kept getting declined. So went down to the Salon, and wow I wanted a foot rub and nails done too... (I would go fire Engine Red!! .. lol) I mean the place is very impressive. CLEAN, NEW, ready to be used... And lots of staff from the way it looks , very friendly tthe ones I met in my short time there. cashier had slight issues trying to sell me a gift card, SO fixed my card issue, the other gentleman in the salon asked if I wanted tea, or water. It was our first time visiting Sleek Nail Co and it did not disappoint! We walked in shortly after 9am and it was already packed, which is always a good sign. Even without an appointment, they were able to accommodate us and placed us in the VIP room--felt super special lol. We even got a little mimosa which was a nice touch! Rita and Laurie took care of us today and did an amazing job. We both got the seasonal coconut pedicure and it felt sooo relaxing. Great service, great experience overall. I'm sad because I originally gave this place 4 stars for a reasonable price ($40 for gel nails) and clean interior. But then I came in again on Wed Mar 11th with an appt for gel removal and reapplication with Penny, booking an appt as well for my friend. My 2nd time doing nails and her first! Had to wait about 15-20min past my appt which was ok because they were busy. I'm guessing I have somewhat brittle nails. But ultimately when she was shaving off the old gel, my thumbnail started stinging and my thumbnail had cracked vertically :( Applied clear polish to fix this afterwards but then the gel paint job for the thumbnail afterwards was a bit incomplete after that happened. It still hasn't healed unfortunately, I guess it takes time. read more

This was my 2nd time visiting this salon with the same nail tech. The salon itself is elegant. They offer a drink and a snack. After the first visit I thought I had finally found my nail place after searching for months and trying various places. Well it looks like I need to continue my search. The first visit I called ahead of time with my questions from cost, to extra charges etc. I even asked to confirm when I sat down that the charges were the expected charges. She even showed me the price list. I had to ask for a few things like to glue the under corners so I don't pick, don't thin the acrylic and to finish with color around the top of the nail. All good. She's fairly new to the nail field . About three years, but she did a fairly good job so I figured I'd give her another try. 2nd visit where do I begin? I noticed on my thumb darkening in the middle so I thought she would cut part of the acrylic nail back because it looks like fungus built. Didn't even acknowledge it or treat it. She spent more than half the time on a phone call. You don't have to talk to me the whole time, but you can give me the courteous of not being on a phone call and because she wore a mask and kept it very low she wasn't noticed. Third, I painted my nails with two colors. No design regular colors one was sparkle. One of the sparkles was sticking up and it dried like that and she tried to fix it with the nail tweezers and couldn't do it and left it. I went home with a rough top of my nail. So I ended up sanding it down. I didn't request anything new from last visit so I assumed the same dollar charge. Nope it went up by $20. I inquired why the increase and the owner was standing right there. She used a builder gel that I never approved and charge me to use two colors which I confirmed last visit there was no charge. Her response was she was wrong last visit yet I confirmed it with her and when I called. The owner heard the conversation and said nothing. To make matters worse, two days later a couple of my nails were already lifting and a week after my visit one popped off, and I was already gluing on my vacation. Needless to say, I will not return to the salon and I hope the art of building nails using acrylic instead of just having to redo a set every few months comes back. Be warned read more

First time coming to Sleek Nails and they definitely did not disappoint! I love the aesthetic look of their place, such a beautiful spot with a warm, welcoming, and relaxing atmosphere. Me and my girls felt very comfortable and well taken care of the entire time. The staff was very kind and professional. Brandon and Alex were especially accommodating and were able to book us a last-minute appointment despite their busy schedule, which we really appreciated. I've been looking for a nail spot that could also do my girls' pedicures, and I absolutely loved how their kids' pedicure chairs looked. They even had them in a little private area, which made my girls feel like they were having their own mini VIP experience, and they truly enjoyed it. It made our mother-daughter day even more special. I went to this nail shop twice. The first time, they did a good job, but I was told my total would be $70. When I got to the counter, they charged me $75 instead. I mentioned what the technician had originally told me, but I still ended up paying the higher price. I decided to give them another chance, and the exact same thing happened again. I was quoted one price, but when it was time to pay, the amount was changed. Their communication with customers is very poor and inconsistent. While the salon itself is clean, the customer service and honesty about pricing are disappointing. I also feel like offering alcohol may distract customers from noticing these issues. Unfortunately, because of the lack of clear communication and pricing transparency, I would not recommend this place. read more

Made an appointment to check this place out, I haven't had my nails done since having a baby. The vibe was nice it gives very fancy. I was asked if I wanted anything to drink throughout the appointment. I am unsatisfied with my nails though, and price was $125 for my set when I could've probably went to Walmart and got the same set. I appreciate the nail tech for taking his time, but I asked for my thumb design to be slanted across and it was made in the middle as well as the nails being different sizes. Didn't have the correct bow charms. And it just looks like a cheaply done set, for a fancy looking place? I even added a manicure when I was booking online which was $15 extra, but never received that. The workers here are sooo friendly and the atmosphere is a great vibe. But honestly the service I received was not worth the money. I came in for a full acrylic set and a pedicure. At first I really liked my set but throughout the day I noticed imperfections (certain spots of the nails not properly cured so it's dented in and certain nails not shaped properly) so whatever I let it go. But whats really bothering me is how messed up my cuticles are now after only the 3rd day. I paid around $55 for their pedicure it wasn't anything special and I feel like they barely scrubbed or did anything to my feet at all. Then the guy doing my toes does a 3rd layer of polish on one of my feet but then asks if I want a 3rd layer for the other one? Like sir what? If you did 3 layers on the first one do the same to the other. If you decide to come here look at their Instagram and and book with someone that's good because I'm sure some of the other girls will do a great job, I guess my mistake was doing a walk in! read more

Conveniently made an appointment online to be reassured I'll get services. After reviewing Instagram for inspiration, I came across Nikki's page and instantly liked her work. I scheduled my Manicure and Pedicure with her. Upon arrival I was noticed and greeted by the young man at the front desk. Shortly after I was checked in and seated for my appt. The space is nice and roomy. I love the decor and theme. Half is the Salon and the other is the Spa. Everything is new and clean. All tools were newly package and autoclaved to ensure safety.
