Gave this place 3 chances... I really did want to like it since they were so conveniently just down the street, but I do not think I will be returning unless I really have to. The place is clean, has a clean bathroom, has convenient parking, is organized, and smells nice (besides the smell of acrylic and other chemicals). However, it is pretty cramped inside. There is not a lot of ways to walk anywhere without having to contort a little bit. That being said, that is not the reason I took 2 stars off my rating; it is because the service here is inconsistent. The first time it was a pleasant experience, the second time I found it strange the staff pointed a finger at me before laughing about something, and the third time it was okay at best. This most recent visit, the lady servicing my mom had a little attitude and the gentleman servicing me did not check with me if I liked my french tips or not (when they all checked and asked last time) before curing them. As you can see, he was most definitely playing in my toes. I did not want anymore trouble today, so I did not really bother to ask for it to be corrected. Although, I did ask my technician if it was too late for him to correct it, to which he said "It's already dry". I was already overstimulated with the place being packed like sardines on a Thursday morning and just wanted to leave. I am especially disappointed since they have done better in the past. I really do not know what the issue could be since I have always been polite, said please and thank you, tipped more than 15% every time (except for this last time), etc. I hope they can do better. read more

After the nail tech cut and barely filed my nails, he told me I was done. Confused, I told him that I would still like a manicure. He then told me someone else needed to do it because his appointment had arrived and seemed a bit irate. This level of service was unlike anything I have ever experienced. Additionally, the tech smelled like cigarettes. This is very disappointing. Other than this, the salon is clean, but always seems to be busy and perhaps they overextend themselves. read more

They are very friendly and nice here. My nail tech's name is Katie, and she's phenomenal. The salon is always very clean, which I really appreciate. On weekends, it gets very busy, so I highly recommend making an appointment to avoid waiting. Recently, my goddaughter brought my kids to get their nails done for back to school. I wanted to ask for Katie to do their nails, but I thought I shouldn't, since she might be fully booked. To my surprise, Katie ended up doing my kids' nails anyway! She was so wonderful with them, making sure they picked colors they loved and chatting with them while she worked. The kids left with beautiful nails and big smiles. Overall, it was a great experience for my family, and I can't wait to come back for another visit. I truly recommend this place, especially if you can have Katie as your nail tech. I got a gel pedicure today from Linda. She did a fantastic job, and I've already scheduled my next appointment with her.

I went in wanting a French tip gel manicure, they seated me right away. They kept asking if I wanted acrylic and when I said no they made me switch to a different chair. A really nice man did my nails but it was really rushed. The whole thing took maybe fifteen minutes. He didn't fully remove my old gel polish and he missed corners on my nails. When I went to pay and I looked at them I realized they were missing paint on the corners, I told the receptionist and asked if he could fix it and instead she filed the messed up nails round, so I had some square nails and some round which was disappointing. The gel itself only lasted a week before it started peeling off. Pretty disappointed, the pictures turned out good but it was rushed and didn't last. Would only recommend this place if you're in a pinch and need last your nails done last minute. read more

Walking in on a Friday probably wasn't my best idea without an appointment, however even though the place was packed, I didn't wait long at all. I only waited about five minutes. This place is new so of course everything is freshly painted, decorated and clean. I was greeted right away. The employees here are so nice, friendly, and very welcoming. My nail tech asked me questions and made sure she understood exactly what I wanted. I had my nails filled with black and red matte finish. My nails turned out super cute for Disneyland. I also had a pedicure done.... So nice and relaxing that I almost fall asleep. The leg massage was the best. Prices are very reasonable. During my pedicure, the technician used a tool along the side of my toenail that caused immediate pain. I then noticed I was bleeding. Instead of stopping the service and properly addressing the injury, a white powder was applied to the area to stop the bleeding, and the pedicure continued. No explanation or apology was offered. Alcohol was later applied, which caused intense burning, and the area burned again when my toenails were placed under the curing light. This left me uncomfortable and concerned about infection after leaving the salon. Mistakes can happen, but how they're handled matters. There was a lack of care, communication, and proper response to an injury. I will not be returning and would caution others to be aware. read more

I hate having to leave this kind of review because I usually enjoy coming here. However, my experience yesterday was disappointing. I had a 5:30 PM appointment for a GEL manicure and pedicure, and specifically booked it so I could be done by no later than 7:00 PM -- I had to leave to pick up my son. Unfortunately, it took much longer than expected. I didn't get out until about 7:20 PM, and because of the time crunch, my manicure was noticeably rushed at the end. One of my nails didn't fully dry -- the gel lifted, and when I pulled it back, it was still wet underneath. I also noticed another finger with bubbles in the polish. I didn't catch it right away because I was trying to leave quickly to get my son. For the amount of money I spent, I do expect better time management and customer service. I had hoped the manicure and pedicure would be done at the same time to save time, but that didn't happen. The last time I got a gel manicure here (done by the same person), it lasted an entire month -- this time, it started lifting after one day. Again, I usually enjoy this place, but this visit was not a good experience. I hope they can improve on time management and ensure customers don't feel rushed, especially when appointments are made in advance. read more

Nice spot, but the quality of service is not consistent. I also noticed not as sanitary as well. The nail tech would use the same towel to wipe my hands down that's been collecting dust from my manicure. The same nail tech "Tina" she tends to cut my skin when cutting my cuticles. Also, the very same day my gel nail polish was already cracking/peeling off. One other thing is that since she likes to drill my gel polish off it cracks my real nails which I hate when nail tech don't want to take the time and be gentle with removing the prior gel polish by soaking it. read more

Everything was PERFECT. I USED to go to signatures near Lincoln center but after many discouraging nail experiences I decided to leave and try here. Kim is my favorite and does an EXCELLENT job. My nails are perfect and flawless. No I didn't have to monitor her like I have at past nail shops, making sure she gets to the side of the nails, making sure there's nothing CLUMPY, making sure it's even. I never get my nails done because of work but when I do I always go here and they get me right everytime :) Today was the best they've ever done so far tho. I got a full set and pedi. Not sure the name of the one who did my pedi but she did a great job. Kim did my full set. I showed her two photos of nail designs I wanted to combine and she did a great job even better than what I was imagining ! She freestyled my ring fingers too! I went in to get a SOAK off from this place, I asked specifically for that service. I got in the chair with this lady named Kim, she started cutting my acrylics off then she proceeded to take out the tip of acrylics to lift up my acrylic nails and she did so without asking, she told me she was going to do this instead. When she got to my pinky, she ripped a chunk of my nail off and didn't even say sorry or blink an eye. I started to say "ow" to her doing my other hand but she kept going until i told her "it hurts" then she put my fingers in acetone to soak off, but she was SO impatient and rushed my whole service. They were soaking but not long enough because once again, she proceeded to lift my nails up with the acrylic tip she had. She did this the entire service, it was horrible and painful. She even asked for a tip afterward!! Now i'm stuck with a chunk of my pinky nail missing. Thanks to KIM!! read more
