I had been looking for a new nail salon because I was having issues with my current one and had the last straw. I decided to give Beyond a chance since they had great reviews. I didn't make an appointment and just did a walk-in for a fill and pedicure. I was greeted right away and asked to wash my hands first which I liked. I sat at Ben's chair for my nails first. They were a bit of a mess as I took the acrylic off my nails myself from my previous salon I went to. He got to work and made me feel very comfortable and also made suggestions on a healthier option for my nails. He was engaging and actually talked to me. I didn't have to watch his work and he filed/shaped my nails perfectly. Then I got a pedicure, forgot to get her name but she did a great job as well. We made an appointment to get our nails done got there 5 minutes before and got taken about 10 minutes after our appointment time. I got a manicure French tip polish. He was rushing a bit left polish on the edge of my nails and some were a bit chunkier. I just realized I didn't even just the hand/arm massage either. It was $35 the place is nice inside. read more

0/10 experience, I went to this salon multiple times and got my nails done from October 2022-February 2023. Prices on basic sets varied from $70-120, at first it was $70 and as I came in more and tipped more, it got more expensive. This isnt to say the work wasn't great, but it was mediocre at times. Once an employee was in a rush so he put a sticker decal on my nail very crooked. I also saw more breakage with this salon than others. The straw that broke the camels back was my last visit. I was getting an old set removed when a part of my nail broke, instead of removing it from another angle he said "this might hurt" and proceeded to rip off the entire top part of my natural nail. The entire time for the rest of the appointment I was bawling my eyes out from the pain. Helen offered me a mjni water bottle and tissues. I kept dismissing all their questions of "is this okay ? does this look fine" in hope to leave ASAP. I didn't even want to get a nail done on the one they damaged because I wanted to let it heal naturally but they insisted I should cover it because it would "look and feel better". I honestly think they were just trying to cover their F-up and not get reported to The California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. Helen tried to playfully yell "don't just say everything is okay, say what you think" which only made me cry more. He deducted $25 off the $95 dollar set for "the incident" after saying "sorry" and leaving the covered up nail 1/4 an inch longer than the rest. Never going back. My mom also stopped booking with them after 2 of her nails came off and broke from the roots after only a year of their services. Only come if you want to be overcharged and have your nails ripped off and out. read more

Wonderful experience! Called last minute and they were able to accommodate my husband and myself before we headed out for our anniversary trip. Unfortunately I did not get the names of the young man and ladies that we had but the attention to detail was awesome. My hubby and I both had pedicures and our feet were definitely not in great condition as we are in them many hours a day working at an animal sanctuary. I went on to have a manicure and it is one on the best I have had in a very long time. They were even able to do a lip wax for me last minute.
