Big mistake for cheating on my girl Lynn at Rose Nails. I was so confused on the pedicure services they offered here and the staff seemed to be as well when I asked questions. Our appointment was at 1:15pm for two pedicures on a Friday afternoon, the place only had 2 other customers. We did run 5 minutes late in which I called and informed Tom. 1. Our pedicures didn't start at the same time, I sat there for 30 mins with my feet soaking in cold water while my friend started hers, at least we got to chat. I asked for warmer water and they put full on hot on and then it was way too hot. 2. The two pedis were not done at the same time, we got there at 1:20pm and didn't leave until almost 3pm with only one of us getting an actual full pedicure, customer service was heavily lacking. 3. When she did start on mine she used an efile to remove gel, on my natural nail. When I put my foot back in the water I began to have an allergic reaction from everywhere the water was touching, pretty much my ankle down. 4. It was so itchy I finally begged her to stop mid pedi and my feet were swelling and red from the ankle down. She then squirted alcohol all over my feet. Ouch as I was itching and then alcohol didn't help. My friend then asked to rinse my feet off with cold water and that was a relief however she then scrubbed them dry with the towel. It is currently 5pm and they are still itching from my ankles down. My friend was overall pleased however she had to tell the girl to clean up polish on her skin and clip some skin that she left. 5. I paid $60 which was for my friends $40 pedi, the $10 they charged me for gel removal that a was LAZY improper removal and tip. I paid because I didn't want to make a scene as this was supposed to be relaxing for my friend. Both Tom and Vi as well as the rest of the salon knew what was happening with my allergic reaction and they didn't offer for me to return another time to credit the $10 I did end up paying. Also there was no thank you or have a nice day. Very rude and overall unwelcoming. I will never return and will tell everyone I know to stay away. Many other salons to enjoy and definitely did not like that they removed the gel with the efile. read more

Fairly new to the area, a co worker had me check out Vi and tom. Since day one the salon is very open and clean, and staff is friendly. I have been coming here for about 10 months and I am never let down. My nails always come out good and last! I would and have recommended both Vi and Tom! read more

Honestly, I did not know what a good manicure was until I met Vi and her husband. First off, always so warm and sweet. Second, the shape is actually great and grows out nice (side story: my first manicure I got I did not know how it was really suppose to look and I'm so introverted that I won't speak up but the man who did my nails put the acrylic all over my cuticles and even on my actual finger that when it grew out, it was like a mold of where it sat.
