Fast fwd, I hired another company for maintenance today and was told and shown that there were rust and water in my unit and the Inducer has a crack due to POOR gas pipe installation by AAA. I told them that my system never kept up on hot days. They offered a bid and I thought they were totally fair on price. So we pulled the trigger. Especially helped to make my mind up as it was around 78 degrees outside the next day and the old system still didn't keep up. They gave me 2 bids and I opted for the more high efficiency bid. Jacob and Aaron arrived at the house to complete the job. My house being 100 years old, it wasn't the easiest and Jacob had to put in the O.T. to get it done. I was still skeptical that it would keep up. But this new system is actually amazing. We've already hit 90 degrees since the install and my thermostat never varied from 72 degrees where I set it. Edit: Further reduced score based on the reply from the company including false truths, never once did we claim that what the representative had said was "B.S." and to be clear they never said nor verified the home was insulated properly. The claimed the floors needed to be insulated, which was debunked by other companies as heat rises, and floor insulation does very little in terms of holding the homes heat. Christian came out and took a look at our space and gave us a quote and explained everything thoroughly. He's a natural born salesperson, but I felt he knew what he was talking about and I was sold. The installers came out the very next day. The two guys were great. They worked hard from early morning to late afternoon but when they left, everything was in great shape. The only issue I had with the company was a little difficulty in communications. I had received emails from one of their employees about the permits pulled for the installation, and when I went to follow up with that employee, I never heard back. I tried 2-3 times and texted my rep, but never heard back. I finally managed to get ahold of someone, and both inspectors eventually made it and signed off. One of the inspectors was so impressed with their work that he asked who had done it so he could reach out to them for some work at his own home! Overall I think we got a great system at a fair price. Probably a little more than we originally wanted to spend, but when doesn't that seem to be the case these days? I'd recommend these guys to everyone based on my experience.
