Paul was able to squeeze me in towards the end of the day due to a cancellation, so I can tell that he takes care of new customers just as well as existing. He was so communicative and honest with what he was doing, I actually learned a lot! After a couple hours he deemed that the wiring and circuit to the fridge was just fine and that the issue is probably the fridge itself (which is unfortunate, but at least he didn't have to tear my wall apart!). I will say that the fees were a little more than other electricians I saw, but given the quality, communication, and overall great experience, it's well worth it! Russ and his crew arrived shortly after. We had a quick review of the scope of work, finalized locations, discussed routing of wiring. Russ immediately set work and got the new panel in place. His two helpers arrived a little later and worked all day. They were courteous and hard working. They finished up everything and by 5pm were finished. The inspector arrived late afternoon and passed the work. Everything was tidied up and fully operational by 6 pm. I would highly recommend them. I got a random text on my phone for a $50 tune up on my A.C. I hadn't had it serviced in 9 years…read more So I said what the hell and they came and serviced the unit. I told them that my system never kept up on hot days. They offered a bid and I thought they were totally fair on price. So we pulled the trigger. Especially helped to make my mind up as it was around 78 degrees outside the next day and the old system still didn't keep up. They gave me 2 bids and I opted for the more high efficiency bid. Jacob and Aaron arrived at the house to complete the job. My house being 100 years old, it wasn't the easiest and Jacob had to put in the O.T. to get it done. I was still skeptical that it would keep up. But this new system is actually amazing. We've already hit 90 degrees since the install and my thermostat never varied from 72 degrees where I set it. Im 100% satisfied with this company and would absolutely recommend them. Also when Aaron did the electrical, we had a light start blinking. I wasn't sure if it was from the work they did and so I called the company. Aaron came out and fixed my light and it just happened to be a random occurrence not caused by the work being done. They recommended a Carrier Heat Pump for a PSE rebate but lacked the knowledge to install it. The system failed on day one. A standard 1-week installation dragged into a 6-month nightmare. I had to hire a separate, competent HVAC company to undo their mistakes and get it operating correctly. Technical Incompetence & Communication Failures * Failed Installation: Despite multiple attempts, they repeatedly failed to get the system running properly. * Unprofessional Communication: Management blamed me for their technical failures, scheduled an out-of-state rep without checking my availability, gave night-before notice, and blamed me when the meeting fell through. Code Violations & Financial Misconduct * Bypassed Legal Protocols: They failed to perform mandatory ACCA Load Calculations required under the WA State Energy Code and ignored mandatory electrical/mechanical inspections until I made them a condition of final payment. * Retaliation & Charges: Because the project was unfinished, I withheld a small balance. In response, they placed an unauthorized charge on my credit card--forcing me to cancel it--and filed an inflated Claim of Lien against my property including nearly $1,000 for unprovided services. Current Unresolved Status While they finally reduced my balance to account for the second contractor's fees, the issue remains unresolved. Despite signing a Conditional Waiver and Release, they refuse to provide a copy, tracking info, or proof of mailing for the Lien Release they claim to have sent to the King County Recording office. Avoid this company.
