We needed to change a couple of locks and door handles. We contacted Able Locksmith, and Don got back to us on what was needed. In order for us to keep our same keys, we had to find out the make of the parts we wanted replaced (Schlage, Kwikset, etc.). Once we got everything we needed, we settled on a price and scheduled the appointment. Don was very punctual, reliable, courteous, and professional. The price was very affordable as well. I highly recommend Able Locksmith and would use them again! read more

For starters he responded to my inquiry immediately and remained extremely responsive thereafter. He made it out the following morning prompt and prepared. Nicest man showed up ready to roll up his sleeves and get the job done. He rolled up my carpet neatly and set aside. Kept a neat and clean work environment and cleaned up after himself. Highly recommend!!! read more

I had only 1 key for my new condo and i accidentally locked it inside one day and no way to get in. I mass messaged locksmiths in the Anaheim area to get quotes. Able Locksmith was the best price so I decided to go with this locksmith. He arrive and was very pleasant to work with. In addition to helping me open my lock, I told him about my situation with this new condo, and he got me 2 pairs of new keys and changed the locks on my door. This way I would have a spare the next time I lock the keys inside, and also so that i have a new pair of keys for the new locks, just in case the old owner still has an old key to access my condo. He took the extra step to help me with this situation even though I had only paid him to open the lock. read more

Able Locksmith was rescued from tears and a breakdown. At 11pm after coming home from a business trip, I learned by keypad entry was out of battery, which means I was locked out of my house. At 11pm, I called this 24 hour locksmith and he came so FAST. Being late and alone, I was nervous about a man coming to my house...but he was the nicest, gentle man. Worth the price! Then he went above and beyond and changed the battery on my lock. I paid extra because I was so impressed. read more

So I needed to have 4 deadbolts redeye. I called around and the price it was going to be to take them to a locksmith was going to be MORE than having a mobile locksmith come to me. Don was on time and incredibly friendly. He made quick work of the project and was very affordable and convenient. Other mobile locksmiths were trying to charge $100 MORE than Don. If you're looking for someone friendly, affordable and on time, Don is your guy!!! read more

Our front door lock was jammed. Don was able to come out quickly. However, he found out the lock I bought at Amazon doesn't work and he advised me the quality was not very good. I went to Lowell's and their specialist told me about the lifetime warranty of Baldwin locks. I contacted the representative and they sent me a replacement part. I immediately called Don back to install it. He was able to put it back without needing to change a new lock. Though I had to order a spare just in case, but Don did a beautiful job. He was also do the search to help me find a replacement in case the parts didn't work. He was also patient as I was going through my mother's cancer treatment. The whole process took over 3 months and he gave me plenty of time. Thank you. read more

Able Locksmith - Replaced deadbolts and rekeyed. - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - La Habra, California

I had to replace my front, back and garage side door locks, and Don did a great job re-keying all the locks so that I only had to use one key for all of them, and then installed them. He even had to make the deadbolt holes bigger, because the locks that were previously in there were so old that the new deadbolts didn't fit. He did this all very quickly and efficiently, and the price was right. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this business. read more

I would recommend Don to anyone. He is very professional, quick, and provides excellent customer service! I had a situation where my tenants didn't vacate the unit when they said they would. They even changed the front door lock without permission so that my key wouldn't work! Don was flexible when I changed our appointment time due to the tenants. We were able to get into the unit and he rekeyed the locks in a very short amount of time! You won't go wrong with Don! read more

Will not use or recommend Able again. Came to rekey locks in security screen doors and took off the whole door handle mechanism rather than just changing out lock. He wasn't able to put mechanism back together on one of my doors. Left things worse than when he came. Beware!! read more

Such a nice man. I had a tricky situation with my schedule and I needed my locks changed immediately after my tenant moved out (which happened to be 12/31)... he came out on New Year's Eve and was so nice and smiley and wasn't at all mad that he came on a holiday. He also was really fast and had to do 5 locks. His price was really good and he even was early. I was impressed. read more

This is a fantastic locksmith! I live in an older condo and the door locks needed to be replaced, but I had trouble finding locks that would fit the door (keyholes were closer to the door center). This locksmith saved the day by cutting new keyholes in my door and patching the old ones. He was the only one that came up with the exact solution that I needed! After coming up with a plan for my project, he arrived right on time (excellent communication throughout) and got right to work. I was very impressed by his overall professionalism, kindness, work ethic and patience in doing this job perfectly! I love my new door locks, and it was a pleasure having him work for us. This is the kind of person we wish we could have as a co-worker and/or employee. Hard working and honest ... such a rarity nowadays...thank you for all that you do. I would recommend you to anyone.
