I had an issue with the entry door leading into my garage. The door jam had been screwed into so many times over the years the strike plate fell off and couldn't be reattached. Then the drywall part broke off and the door latch wouldn't stay put causing the door to open unless the deadbolt was engaged. Even when this wasn't an issue the door was always very hard to lock due to the alignment being bad. I wasn't sure if I need a door repair person or a locksmith. After hunting around reading reviews I felt BZB was the right choice. I contacted Nathan via yelp and he called me within 10 minutes. I explained the issue and he asked if I was available and he'd be over in 20 minutes! He arrives in his van which has been turned into his workshop. The van had hardwood floors, lighting, big A/C ducts, and different workspaces depending on the job. It was so cool I wanted to become a locksmith myself. haha. He fixed the door jam issue, replaced my hardware along with another problem doorknob I had going into my house and keyed them all with matching keys. Now my door works so perfectly that I feel stupid for living so long with the issue! The price was a lot less than I imagined too which was a plus! I highly recommend BZB Lock And Key Locksmith. When our front door handle lock broke, I called BZB Lock and Key and Nathan came out the same day. Unfortunately, he was not able to fix it as it is 27 years old. He recommended what brand of handles and lock I should purchase so that they would fit over the existing door holes. I found them online and had the new handles and locks within a week. In the meantime, we used the deadbolt that was not part of the handle-set to lock our door. I have been having problems with my keys in the front door for a while now and it has been on my list of things to fix. I finally looked up locksmiths on yelp and requested a quote.
