Cream Curry Pasta - with cream cheese croquettes
    Katarina L.

Loved everything on the table. Some favorites were the creamy curry pasta with th cream cheese croquette that we added, the topokki and the curry noodle. You can choose your spice level for each dish which is great for me (a baby when it comes to heat). We got there right when they opened for an early lunch at 11:30 and were the only ones there, but by 12, the place started to fill up quite a bit! Service was quick and very friendly, and the space is big and cozy. Great lunch or dinner spot with so many options. So happy I don't have to go all the way to nyc for Abiko.

A+++ I loved the perfectly thin and crispy chicken cutlets, I loved the flavorful and fragrant curry sauce and I loved the fluffy rice and al dente noodles. All of these combined together make for the ultimate curry dish, and Abiko absolutely nails it. I've visited their location in Manhattan a few times, so it was a treat to check out their large and inviting space in Jersey. I like how you can order at screens at the table - there are so many things to adjust and add to each dish, so it makes it a whole lot easier to punch into the screen. Once ordered, everything comes out super fast. Service was great and they even gave us complimentary yogurt sodas. I don't live close, but can easily see myself coming back for the fantastic eats.

This is my 2nd time at Abiko. First time was in NYC KTown. The quality has stayed so consistent over the years, quick service, very delicious curry flavor. Went with spice level 2 based on the server's recommendation, one could go one level higher if you are really looking for the heat to kick in. Enjoyed the meal, and would happily come back again.

One of the better curries I've had in the area! came here on a Saturday night around 7pm and it wasn't too crowded! Service was super friendly & fast. My friends and I enjoyed the convenience of ordering through the tablet they had on the table. The restaurant itself was super spacious & the waitress moved us further from the door since it was super cold that night! definitely would go back. I loved their basic curry rice & added chicken katsu. Highly recommend! It is only street parking but it wasn't too bad since it was towards the end of broad street vs the busier area.

It's been a while since I've been to Abiko but I was happy to see that the quality has remained the same. Went with my staple order of mushroom curry rice with a chicken cutlet. It's just such a hearty comfort meal for me and I added the crispy garlic for a bit more umami. My boyfriend got the curry noodle bowl and the broth had a sweetness to it that balanced the heat nicely. Each table has a little iPad of sorts now to order from which was very efficient. With the weather turning cooler, we'll definitely be back for more.

Delicious curry. Quite possibly the best curry I've ever had. Insanely flavorful in both the beef udon soup and the pork katsu cutlet.

I've been dying to try this place for years and was so excited we made it there. My kids loved the creamy curry - it was slightly sweet and an absolute hit with my kids. They all loved the pork cutlet with melted cheese on top too! Takoyaki and curry egg omelet with meatballs were good too - appreciated the deeper beef curry flavor. We'd probably pass on the cream croquettes. My kids weren't a fan of the wasabi sauce on top. Takoyaki was well made too, but the cutlet was definitely the best so highly recommend passing on the other little items and going straight for that one. Service was great! They refilled our waters ave checked in on us. Overall, highly recommend!

ABIKO curry is one of my favorite curry places. The food is consistent. Curry is flavorful and rich. We had fried chicken, fried squid, seafood curry, veggie curry and chicken curry. You can adjust spicy level by numbers. The only thing I don't like is the chicken curry. It tastes really dry to me. I placed the order on the kiosk. The food came out pretty quick. The staff were super nice and attentive. I had my 5yo with me and they were making sure she was getting what she needed. Clean and spacious restaurant. Bathroom is clean. Small parking lot at the back and street parking.

Celebrated my brother- in- law's job acceptance tonight. He wanted- to eat here because a few times we have had it through calling and picking up the order. I had Vegetable curry with rice. Curry was flavorful. The vegetables were mixed in it too. Restaurant was relaxing, decor was clean and simple. Our waitress was friendly and came over frequently to add water. All payments are accepted.

Went back for our favorite curry after spending 5 days out of NJ. Restaurant had only few customers, but very clean as usual. Got free parking in their lot. Ordering was easy with the kiosk in each table. Such soil pleasing delicious rice, curry, vegetables, fried squid and fried chicken. Just found out they have unlimited rice and curry, if each guest orders a plate. This is hame changer. I tried the refill today. Got more of the amazing Abiko curry.

Went to Abiko Curry for lunch on a Sunday. They specialize in Japanese curry and they make it very spicy if you want it. The restaurant is pretty spacious, and it wasn't too busy. We placed our orders on the tablet at the table while the staff served us water. I got the beef creamy curry pasta. After tasting all the other stuff we ordered, all the curries use the same sauce, but the pastas had some cream added. You can choose your spice level with any dish. I got the highest level of spice and it was extremely spicy. Add-ons such as pork katsu are available for an additional fee. It gets kind of expensive for curry depending on what you order. Portion sizes are decent though.

Ordered takeout from here and the curry really hit the spot for me. I like the fact that I can choose the spice level of the curry because I like it very spicy but my wife prefers mild. So I got a spicy one for me and a mild one for my wife. Also ordered tonkatsu, potato croquettes, and fried shrimp and they were good as well. Prices are a little steep but I think it was worth the cost for really good Japanese style curry.

    Is the curry vegetarian?

I believe so because they have different curry options with just vegetables and the base model is with only vegetables .

    Is this restaurant BYOB?

Yes. There is a sign on the door.

They are known for dipping ramen, but I didn't get that. I got the tonkotsu broth Ajitama because I didn't want that much meat and I wanted to make sure I got an egg. The broth was delicious, not too salty but very rich and umami in flavor. I love the addition of wood ear mushroom and the noodles had a great chewy texture. They have some claw machines in the front, it's $5 minimum spend which gets you 5 coins, each machine is one coin and there is one machine that gives you two tries for one coin. The soft shell crab was yummy and perfectly fried but we preferred dipping it into the yellowtail sauce. The yellowtail was a little overcooked and not the best piece. The cheesy corn chicken was delicious. Love the little pieces of corn in the cheese and the texture and taste of the chicken. The interior of the restaurant is clean, bright and relaxing.
