Great sushi spot! It's super close to my apartment and it's 1 of the only 2 sushi places I will order from in the area! Rolls are always very fresh and well made. They also offer brown rice as a healthier alternative to white rice which a lot of other places here don't offer. Reasonable prices as well in addition to quick delivery and pick up!

Surprise! Abumi Poke is the same as Abi Sushi on Seamless! Their poke bowls are BOMB. Like...seriously good. You get a lot of fixin's with the base price and they throw in a soup or a salad. Side note, their miso soup isn't great but whatever...that bowl tho... I suggest getting soy sauce on the side, or extra sauce to kick it up a notch. They give a lot of fish, it's super fresh, and delivery was fast!

This is a grubby looking Japanese eatery that has below par food. I ordered a chicken teriyaki and a coke. My lunch was not very good and I don't plan to return. Apart from poor food they had weird art work for a Japanese restaurant such as a London bus. I don't recommend

This place is amazing!!! I've read some of the yelp reviews and really am surprised. I have ordered from them a couple of times, and both times they came very quickly ( you need to be aware of their location when you order... if you are far from them, then it will take a long time for them to deliver to you) and the food has always been spot on and delicious! I'm Japanese and am impressed with the quality of their food. Their toppings are fun, fish is fresh, and the rice is good. Will definitely be ordering again.

I have ordered different things from this place and so far have no issues to report. I got a little shocked when I read some of the reviews here. It's hard to believe we are talking about the same place. Maybe something changed in the past year or so :-) Food is always fresh and yummy. I also like that they don't take a long time to deliver the food and it always come in a good portion. My favorite options: salmon taquito, salmon sashimi, the spicy salmon pizza, and some special rolls as well.

Mango Avocado Roll, Tofu Nugget Avocado Roll, Vegetable Tempura Roll

Great sushi! Got the vegetable tempura (broccoli and sweet potato), mango avocado, and tofu nugget roll.

Highly recommend this place for delivery. I always get the mix 3 Hawaiian style poke bowl with ahi tuna, salmon, and yellowtail and it never disappoints. It comes fast and is fresh. I like to add lots of free add ons like crab salad, mango, seaweed salad, and wonton crisps.

"YOU DO YELP REVIEWS FOR TAKEOUT?" said my friend in shock over the summer and probably slight appallment as I tried to slyly snap a photo of my sushi rolls in his apartment. EVERYTHING gets reviewed eventually! These guys were okay. I feel like they always have a 30% off discount sign on their window. Which is neat. Not sure if that only applies for ordering in and taking it to go (which we did) or what. But I had three rolls, they were fairly fresh and of a substantial enough size that I could barely finish it all. Spicy tuna, california, and something else that escapes me but I think it was the spicy crunchy salmon roll. He had ordered some kind of fancy bento box with teriyaki and rice and a side salad. It's a solid option in the area. Not gourmet but definitely delicious and cheap. Most regular rolls are under $6-7 and throwing in the discount probably prices them around $3-4 each. Lots of interesting sushi combos, teriyaki and hibachi entrees, a variety of soup and udon noodles. If I lived near here I would probably order from here on a regular basis.

Pretty sure that's a pubic hair in my katsu don. Will not be ordering from Abi again.

The restaurant is quite small, with one table that seats 4, and seating at the window. There are 2 small tables outside, as well. Be careful when you go inside because there is a step after you open the door. Packaging was convenient with the handle around the sushi box. Overall, the fish was mediocre considering the price. Some pieces were soft while others were very stringy and chewy. I am not one to dip sashimi in soy sauce because I like to just enjoy the natural flavor of raw fish with a little wasabi. However, since the fish was a bit fishy, I needed a little soy sauce to mask the taste. The wasabi was also on the mild side, so I added more than I usually would. I would have rated this place a 3/5, if I did not find a hair sitting on top of the ginger...

Noz Market fits an ever diminishing niche of good quality sushi and ambiance at a somewhat decent price point. I got the $155 option which was enough to feel full. The Chase Sapphire Reserve dining credit is applicable here, which is very helpful. The service was really good. I noticed that crumbs were dealt with expeditiously and my ice water never went empty. The tuna egg yolk appetizer was decent. The ten pieces of nigiri were as follows: 1. Scallop 2. Squid 3. Golden eye snapper: kinmedai 4. Horse mackerel: aji 5. Japanese bonito: katsuo 6. Rock shrimp 7. Yellowtail: buri (Note: I've never seen this, usually see Hamachi which is less mature) 8. Bluefin Tuna: akami 9. Chu toro 10. Oh toro The uni course was Hokkaido uni. Not as unctuous as Santa Barbara, but still good. The toro taku hand roll was a good size. It was toro with pickled yellow radish. The miso soup was very savory. I feel like there was some faint mushroom taste. I ordered two supplemental prices. Sea bream (Madai) and Knife jaw (Ishidai). They taste similar but I like the texture of the latter a bit more. I'd never had this before. Hojicha green tea. Strawberry cheesecake was delicious; however, diners this night did not get matcha Mont Blanc like others wrote about, which was a slight bummer.

They offered two different option a $90 course option and a $155 course option and you choose which one you want when you first make the reservation. Highly recommend making a reservation when you come here because it did fill up on a Monday evening. The sushi chef was very professional but did not really chat with us - he made each piece and then told us what each piece was and that was pretty much the extent of the conversation. The quality of the fish was really good and the rice was nice and warm. They offer you extra items that you can order at the end and I highly recommend getting a toro or crab handroll at the end because they were both delicious. For the $155 option it does come with a Matcha Monte Blanc as a dessert which was pretty yummy and it was a nice touch since not all omakase places come with a dessert at the end. Everyone was very friendly and professional here and I do recommend checking this place out. It did not feel like they were rushing you out the door!

You have two options - $69 for 12 courses and $100 for 16 courses. Chefs are distributed evenly for parties allowing for a fairly intimate setting but with efficient service. The restaurant had multiple areas set up as such. The omakase serves many typical offerings starting off with hamachi, kanpachi, shima aji, and kinmedai. They do clearly ask about rice and wasabi preference in size throughout the dinner which is quite considerate. Drink menu was fine with a number of sake options including the chefs sharing glasses throughout the meal! The fish tasted good and fresh, rice was fine though nothing memorable. Middle courses had uni, ikura and snow crab - good courses and filling. Finally we ended with the premium courses - toro caviar and a5 Wagyu with uni. I would've preferred the toro/wagyu alone and is just my personal preference that the gourmet add ons don't enhance the piece for me. Otherwise they were very good. You then have the option to order additional courses including extras off the menu. Overall sushi by m is an excellent value for the omakase course and quality of fish. Because this restaurant is conveniently located near me, I decided to give it a try. The restaurant has two sushi counters, one larger and one smaller. I was seated at the smaller counter by the window. The staff was welcoming and friendly. There are two menu options, 12-course at $69 and 15-course with appetizers at $100. After asking the staff to explain the difference, I chose the 15-course option. It was a pleasant surprise to find that the chef at the counter was the owner, M. He was approachable, and we had a great conversation about his experience and the business. Clearly a hardworking and passionate chef. As for the sushi, the fish was fresh, well selected, and nicely cut. The rice, however, was a bit loose and occasionally did not hold together. Some of the sauces were slightly overpowering, which affected the balance of a few pieces. Overall, it was a solid experience with genuinely warm and attentive service. One suggestion would be to reconsider the background music. The current U.S. pop playlist feels disconnected from the ambiance of a sushi counter, and a more thoughtfully curated selection could elevate the overall experience.

Instead we got seated. We shared calamari and a California roll, and my husband had tuna sashimi. I had a miso soup and the Wagyu fried rice. I'd give this place 6 stars if I could for the ambiance and wow factor. But what was disappointing was the Wagyu fried rice had almost microscopic bits of beef. I guess I should have expected that for only $16. Calamari was excellent. So was the soup. California rolls were okay. In total our bill was $164 which seemed like a lot considering we didn't even leave stuffed - just comfortable.
