We had our shirts on, and Chris asked if he was playing that night. When we told him the show had been canceled and that we were really bummed, we said we decided to come here instead. Chris immediately told us he'd make our night better -- and he absolutely did. He put Noah Kahan on the speakers, and we chatted, chanted, and connected throughout our meal. What started as a disappointing night turned into such a memorable experience. Chris made us feel so welcomed and completely changed the energy of the evening. What stood out even more was that Chris was just as attentive and welcoming to everyone else in the restaurant. We sat in the bar area, and the level of care and customer service from the host to the chefs was incredible. Cannot recommend this place enough. If you're looking for great food and an even better experience, this is the spot!

My least favorite was the tamago and the handroll - it had baby sardines or whitefish.

For the 3 sushi rolls u get salmon, tuna, and yellowtail and can choose between the maki and spicy rolls. I got the spicy salmon and tuna and maki yellowtail because I didn't know how good quality the fish would be but my friend got the maki salmon and I have to say, the maki rolls are WAY better than the spicy rolls. Fish is good quality, but they also put some sort of rice puffs into the spicy salmon/tuna mix as a filler and I wasn't the biggest fan. The salmon and yellowtail nigiri was delicious but the tuna was just a bit fishy for me, but besides that everything is delicious! You're really only getting four types of fish -- salmon, tuna, white tuna, and yellowtail. Roll options are tuna, salmon, or the obligatory sad California roll (I went with salmon). It also comes with miso soup and one of those throwaway salads -- all iceberg with a stray cucumber and tomato. But here's the thing: the fish is fresh (look at the shine on that salmon), and the pieces are big for the price. This is a blue-collar sushi deluxe. It's not glamorous, but it's reliable. Instead we got seated. We shared calamari and a California roll, and my husband had tuna sashimi. I had a miso soup and the Wagyu fried rice. I'd give this place 6 stars if I could for the ambiance and wow factor. But what was disappointing was the Wagyu fried rice had almost microscopic bits of beef.
