Came here for a quick dinner before the movies and was surprised by the nice ambience. We were sat quickly and flipped through the huge menu of mixed Thai and Japanese food. We each got Thai iced tea and I got drunken noodles with chicken and my friend got the duck noodle soup. The Thai iced tea came with a side adorable bear ice cube! The drink was sweet and creamy. My dish was a medium spice and it was perfect! The noodles were smooth and chewy and the sauce was full of basil and soy sauce flavor. The veggies could've been cooked a little longer for my taste but they gave a nice crunch. Overall a cute place for dinner with extremely nice and attentive staff! read more

I would say it's a 3. The spot is beautifully decorated and it is intimate. The servers were warm and inviting. The menu offers a blend of Japanese and Thai cuisine. I know this place has wonderful reviews, and this could have just been my experience, but I think the food was just okay. That said, I would come back to explore more of the menu because everything else of the experience was splendid. I ordered the Tiger Cry Steak, which is a grilled sirloin steak with Jim jiaw sauce, and your choice of side salad or fries. I would say the jim jiaw sauce is an acquired taste - it was bold and a bit too fishy for me, so I did not used it for the meat. Had a wonderful experience here. The appetizers are super cheap. Customer service was on top of everything. They even made me a drink that wasn't on the happy hour menu. The happy hour is great too. They have expanded their menu to a more "Pan Asian" style, but I stick to the Thai items which never disappointed. Delicious lunch and great price starts at $11.50 entree comes with soup or salad and an appetizer. I opted for the salad & crab Rangoon - then really enjoyed the tofu tom yum noodle soup! My husband got the curry pork katsu and we also got mango sticky rice to try (thought this was okay for the price, the rice wasn't sticky enough bland didn't really taste like dessert). Went here on a random Wednesday night for dinner. We were greeted by friendly servers who sat us right away. We ordered the shoyu ramen, shrimp tempura, and the tom yum soup with shrimp. The ramen had a nice light and flavorful broth. The tom yum soup was packed with flavor and spicy just the way I liked it. The shrimp tempura was okay--it was a bit heavy on the breading. Came here with my boo for a lunch date. We thought the lunch specials were only on the weekdays but it's also on weekends so that was a nice start. They go on from 12:00 to 4pm. We decided to sit outside since it was a nice day, we didn't order any appetizers since the special already came with an appetizer+ soup or salad. We ordered a crispy spring roll and the gyoza. This place has amazing appetizer options! I really loved the duck roll, which is duck wrapped in an asian pancake. It was my favorite appetizer. The fried chive pancake was also very good and crispy. Most of the appetizers came out hot and crispy; however, those two dishes were my favorite of them all. The Khao Kao Soi Ramen was an interesting combination of thai khao soi with Japanese ramen. It was good but very heavy. I was able to finish it after having the appetizers. The salmon was moist and flavorful. The green curry were also very good and on par with other places serving similar dishes in the area. Service was great. We had a large group and they were very accommodating. The place is medium sized that can accommodate a few big groups. My friend had booked a reservation for this place for 5 for Christmas day as a holiday celebration. The restaurant was cutely decorated, playing holiday music in the beginning but then swapped to modern pop songs. We appreciated the festivity, but the break from holiday music was nice lol. They have happy hour until 7pm for beer, wine and some apps. The apps were all good so would take on the good deal. The thai dishes were def more on the sweet side vs. spicy so would suggest asking for some chili oil for a kick. I would recommend the duck salad and shrimp fritters! However, I must acknowledge that it is not impossible for a restaurant to do two things well... just very rarely does that happen. I consider this a westernized version of Asian food. The curry was so so... reminiscent of supermarket bought instant curry. Presentation on the seafood soup was nice; but, the prawns was not fresh at all. The meat was all clumpy and hard to get off its shell. My Char Siu bowl was overpowered with eel sauce. Our waitress was attentive. The dining area looked clean. On more than one occasion, we noticed a very strong flower like scent. Maybe a cleaning agent they used on tables? They charge you a percentage for using CCs. If you pay with cash, pls count your change. The cashier's math skills were not very impressive. read more
