Spicy Kani Roll, Spicy Mango Shrimp Roll, Spicy Salmon

You can get three rolls of sushi here for $18. The fish quality is good and the sushi size is impressive for the price. Wish they had a few more sushi options on the menu but most items were good. The crab rangoon however was tough to chew through because of the wonton wrapper which was odd and the filling was too sweet. The sauce it came with was perfectly balanced between sweet and spicy which was delicious. Definitely worth it for the price.

Sushi Sashimi Deluxe

I was impressed by the freshness and how plentiful my Sushi & Sashimi Deluxe order was! I was skeptical at first by how relatively new and some bad reviews, but I decided to give it a try. Sushi and sashimi were fresh. Sashimi came in big chunks but no shiso leaves though. This time I was happy with my salad since it came with all sorts of greens with tasty ginger dressing, compared to my previous review. I will definitely order from Finest Sushi again.

Ok so kind of cute experience. I was looking on uber eats for some sushi and/or noodles and came across this spot. When I'm ordering I try and read reviews outside their app or see if I can order from the restaurant directly to save us both some 3rd party fees. Well when I looked on their site and checked out their menu I realized they do deliver and the sushi items are double on uber eats than they are on their menu or directly through them! Other food items were just a tad more but rolls went from like $5-6 ordering through them to $11-12 on uber eats. So I obviously called for delivery. They checked and said I'm outside of their delivery range because I'm in Brooklyn. Kind of annoying because I'm just a mile away right on the other side of the Greenpoint bridge, SOOOO close! The women on the phone felt bad so said to order and call her back and she'd throw in a free appetizer or roll. So sweet of her! I ordered through uber eats but wasn't actually planning on calling for a free item but she must have remembered my address because she called me to confirm my order and ask what I'd like thrown in and said anytime I order from uber eats to give her a call and she'll add something to cover the extra delivery costs. So sweet of her! Anyways, sushi and noodles were great! I was skeptical about the noodles because it looks like people only order sushi but so tasty!

Great customer service over the phone and even better in person . The lady was really nice and even included a free avocado bomb to go. The prices are so cheap and quality pretty good as well. I would definitely come again.

Im so happy to see new places open up in the neighborhood. I came here for lunch a week after them opening and I was very happy with my experience. I placed my ordered over the phone. When I got there my food wasn't ready yet but that was my fault since I came super fast to pick it up. While I was waiting the lady that works there was so nice and even gave me a bag of Doritos, she said you can have it as a snack. What a sweet gesture. I got two lunch specials. One was 3 rolls (shrimp tempura, spicy salmon and spicy tuna) that came with a soup or a salad. The second was the chicken fried rice which also came with soup or salad. I have to say the portions were really good for lunch specials and the food was very tasty. Im very happy to see new good restaurants come to Sunnyside.

This place has only 4 seats right by the sushi making area. You can see the man preparing the sushi that people ordered. The restaurant is extremely busy with delivery and takeout orders. I decided to dine in and I can tell that this place isn't suited for that as everything was served in takeout containers on plastic or paper stuff and the utensils were all plastic too.. As you can see in my pictures. Also, they should've wiped down the table before we sat down. Oh wells... Anyways, what we ordered for appetizer first was the chicken skewer. It came with 4 skewers on a paper plate. Sashimi regular which comes with 12 pieces of assorted Sashimi and 1 bowl or sushi rice. It was . The hibachi combination was ordered too which was filling. All in all I wouldn't come back to dine-in as they're more suited for takeout. Also, just as p.s.a. - don't use their toilet as it is gross.

Salmon bento box, Spicy Mango Shrimp Roll, Spicy Salmon Roll
Angie L.

My roomie's favorite sushi spot -- and it's aight. The spicy salmon roll and spicy mango shrimp roll were definitely not enough to fill my stomach, but my roomie was gracious and let me nibble from her salmon bento box. Spicy salmon roll was incredibly average; the spicy mango shrimp roll, on the other hand, was a nice lil surprise. Perfect lil mix of textures and flavors, would order again. The bits of overcooked salmon, chicken nugget(?!), and shrimp thing from the bento box tasted ... uh .... untraditional. And the California roll was, well, a California roll. But it's a great deal in terms of price!

Shrimp and vegetable tempura. They give you more than most places in the neighborhood.

Now that I've ordered more poke bowls and more dishes, I'm quickly realizing that this place is great! The poke bowl is consistently good and the lunch special is incredibly generous. I had the salmon teriyaki and it was super tasty. This is my new go to spot for quick, easy, and delicious Japanese food.

Tri color sushi.

Pretty underwhelming and the place is very ugly. I didn't love my sushi. Confused about the good scores people gave this place.

We had our shirts on, and Chris asked if he was playing that night. When we told him the show had been canceled and that we were really bummed, we said we decided to come here instead. Chris immediately told us he'd make our night better -- and he absolutely did. He put Noah Kahan on the speakers, and we chatted, chanted, and connected throughout our meal. What started as a disappointing night turned into such a memorable experience. Chris made us feel so welcomed and completely changed the energy of the evening. What stood out even more was that Chris was just as attentive and welcoming to everyone else in the restaurant. We sat in the bar area, and the level of care and customer service from the host to the chefs was incredible. Cannot recommend this place enough. If you're looking for great food and an even better experience, this is the spot!

Amazing AFFORDABLE sushi right next to Central Park!!…read more 15 dollar tray for 3 8pc sushi rolls and 3pc nigiri (salmon, tuna, yellowtail). For the 3 sushi rolls u get salmon, tuna, and yellowtail and can choose between the maki and spicy rolls. I got the spicy salmon and tuna and maki yellowtail because I didn't know how good quality the fish would be but my friend got the maki salmon and I have to say, the maki rolls are WAY better than the spicy rolls. Fish is good quality, but they also put some sort of rice puffs into the spicy salmon/tuna mix as a filler and I wasn't the biggest fan. The salmon and yellowtail nigiri was delicious but the tuna was just a bit fishy for me, but besides that everything is delicious! This is a takeout spot and the service is quick and efficient, we walked to Central Park and had a nice picnic :) If I came here again, I'd definitely get their $15 tray again and get the maki rolls, it's so worth the price :)

You're really only getting four types of fish -- salmon, tuna, white tuna, and yellowtail. Roll options are tuna, salmon, or the obligatory sad California roll (I went with salmon). It also comes with miso soup and one of those throwaway salads -- all iceberg with a stray cucumber and tomato. But here's the thing: the fish is fresh (look at the shine on that salmon), and the pieces are big for the price. This is a blue-collar sushi deluxe. It's not glamorous, but it's reliable. At first glance, it almost looks like a real tank. The menu was extensive, albeit pricey. We made the mistake of not sitting at the bar for the Happy Hour specials, but it was kind of crowded. Instead we got seated. We shared calamari and a California roll, and my husband had tuna sashimi. I had a miso soup and the Wagyu fried rice. I'd give this place 6 stars if I could for the ambiance and wow factor. But what was disappointing was the Wagyu fried rice had almost microscopic bits of beef. I guess I should have expected that for only $16. Calamari was excellent. So was the soup. California rolls were okay. In total our bill was $164 which seemed like a lot considering we didn't even leave stuffed - just comfortable. I get that we were paying for the location and scenery - if we ever go back we will sit at the bar and do the happy hour deals. In all - upscale, cozy and high quality. I'm sure it attracts a lot of locals. But I'd rather go to one of the many great sushi places in Hell's Kitchen for more food, less money.
