This time, the same thing happened, except I asked before I left if it had the nuts, and they told me they were out. If you're out of an ingredient that's supposed to come in the blizzard, shouldn't you let the customer know before making it? That way they can decide if they still want it. The service here just keeps getting worse. It used to be hit or miss when I ordered food or ice cream, but now it's just miss.

The hostess just stared at me....For an awkward amount of time. She just went totally blank. I don't think she had been trained to do anything other than point people to a table...she just froze. So after the long, awkward pause, she tells me "I hope you have a nice day." I'll save you the details of the remainder of that conversation, but it only got worse. Needless to say, after far too long of the hostess not grasping what was going on, I walked out. It was truly disappointing to spend the entire night thinking about Cracker Barrel, only to have that dream snatched away from you.

New Haven Rd next exit- has all the gas stations, Arby's, White Castle etc. I tell hubby to stop at Speedway because it's on the same side of the highway we'll have to get back on. I go in the restroom and it doesn't look clean but not dirty enough we're I don't want to use it because I have to go so bad. I curse myself for having the large soda in the car and lock the door. Then I notice that there's no toilet paper. Side note- I notice an almost full roll in the dirty trash can with no lid next to the toilet. I figured it got wet or something. So I run out to the registers and wait for the next cashier. By this time I'm ready to do the potty dance. Anywho I tell the male cashier who says there should be some in there. I let him know that I checked both slots and there was nothing. At this point his female cohort speaks up to say that she knows there's some in there because the last customer was given a roll because she said they were out of TP. Remembering what I saw in the trash I told her that there was a roll in the trash. SO SHE TELLS THE DUDE TO GO GET IT AND PUT IT ON THE ROLL!!! When she said that I looked at her like you have got to be kidding! She sheepishly added, "if it's clean". Ew! W.T.F. I just grabbed hubby and told him to put down the fountain drink he was still filling and left for the White Castle across the street which was MUCH cleaner. Seriously, don't go here.
