But I'm happy to say that with the help of Rosemead Healthcare Center I learned to walk again after 4 months of being bed ridden. My wounds received the proper treatment to heal and my colostomy bag has been removed. I am lucky to have been admitted to this facility. Thanks to the medical treatment, physical therapy and social services departments for helping me through my condition and back to health. I feel everyone at this facility works hard to make your stay as enjoyable as possible while taking care of your medical, mental and physical needs.

You are the experience!! 5 Difficult Blood Draw Solutions | Montes HealthCare College You must take the tourniquet off after the needle is in the vein and blood flow is established, ideally right as the first tube starts to fill or within one minute, and definitely before you pull the needle out to prevent sample contamination (hemoconcentration) and patient discomfort/bruising, releasing it before final needle removal. Leaving it on too long (over 2 mins) can damage tissues, nerves, and alter test values, causing issues like bruising, pain, nerve damage, or tissue death (ischemia/necrosis) in extreme, prolonged cases. I felt BAD for the older lady that was getting poke over 5times I will report this clinic they need to be healed accountable especially after I told the Asian guy drawing blood why he kept the turn the tourniquet on if the blood flow was already existing!! And had the nerve to tell me I need to drink more water!!!

The system felt both ageist and ableist, as there appeared to be no meaningful support for elderly or disabled patients who were clearly struggling. While waiting, I helped an 84-year-old woman check herself in, scan her documents, and navigate the process. I was happy to assist her, but I felt sorry that she was left to rely on the kindness of another patient rather than receiving help from Quest staff. Several other elderly and disabled patients also appeared confused and had difficulty completing the check-in process. In addition, the facility had only one working patient restroom, resulting in delays and frustration for those waiting to provide urine samples. In 2026, a healthcare company should recognize that not all patients are comfortable with or capable of navigating self-service technology without assistance. Quest Diagnostics should do better to accommodate elderly and disabled patients and ensure that support is readily available when needed. Based on this experience, I do not plan to return.

I was number 34. When they call your number you give your ID and Insurance card. They give you a cup and you do your urine sample in the public restroom outside the clinic and you HOLD ON TO IT. Then they call your name to go in for your blood to be drawn. Start to finish, I was there for exactly 2 hours. They were organized in the way they handled the huge amount of people. They had 2 nurses inside taking blood. One nurse handling the intake. And another doing Misc organizing/managing. I have gone here in the afternoon once before and it was very quick and everything was done inside the clinic. I just think Saturday mornings are just extremely busy for them. Having appointments would be helpful, but they do things smoothly for the amount of people they're seeing in a day.

My time came up to go in and I let the girl who first called me in know, and she said that after checking it hadn't come in; she'd keep checking and be sure to call me in when it did. Between getting forgotten and having to ask multiple people to check, it took almost 50 minutes for them to get me in, with my appointment happening happening about an hour later. It would've been faster for me to drive back home, get my order, and drive back... I've never had it take this long at a Quest where I've had to fax before. Staff explained bc it's all electronic to their computer system, their fax orders come in slower? On me to remember my paper orders but on a company to run efficiently. There are some hand sanitizers available for patients to use. This place is open and available with limited capacity. They are sanitizing in between patients. I mention these things in my reviews for the sake of protecting immunocompromised people like the elderly and people sick with cancer and other illnesses. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was here in this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is pretty big, but the lot does get full very quickly since they share the lot with a lot of medical offices. Some parking spots are smaller than others, so watch out! Establishment: The establishment itself is very clean, neat, tidy, and organized. Staff: The staff here are very friendly, welcoming, informative, and funny. Seriously, from the receptionists to the MRI techs, everyone was phenomenal. I like how the MRI techs walk you through what you'll experience before the exam starts. They also have a changing room / locker room for you to change and leave your stuff in. They have a nice mini waiting room inside with a bathroom and water dispenser once you exit the main waiting room. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum, but they charge 3% if you use your credit card.

Thankfully John was super helpful in helping me understand what happened. He was patient and kind. I hope they promote John because he really went above and beyond. The office is clean and the scan is fast. The techs are nice and helpful. While I was there I spotted a flyer for an AI mammogram scan. I was told you can bring in your scan or do it there and pay $40 to run it through AI to scan and detect cancer. I definitely will be utilizing this service. I'm at risk for breast cancer and have to be tested every 6 months and this service would be a game changer for an earlier diagnosis. Once I do the service I will update my review.
