I was happy to see so many residents smiling as well as staff members interacting so much. My mom has gotten great care here and they always keep me in the loop of any changes in her health. They call me right away if anything urgent happens. My mom has been very stable and very well taken care of here. You are the experience!! 5 Difficult Blood Draw Solutions | Montes HealthCare College You must take the tourniquet off after the needle is in the vein and blood flow is established, ideally right as the first tube starts to fill or within one minute, and definitely before you pull the needle out to prevent sample contamination (hemoconcentration) and patient discomfort/bruising, releasing it before final needle removal. Leaving it on too long (over 2 mins) can damage tissues, nerves, and alter test values, causing issues like bruising, pain, nerve damage, or tissue death (ischemia/necrosis) in extreme, prolonged cases. I felt BAD for the older lady that was getting poke over 5times I will report this clinic they need to be healed accountable especially after I told the Asian guy drawing blood why he kept the turn the tourniquet on if the blood flow was already existing!! COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was here in this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is pretty big; however, the lot is often full very quickly. Each parking spot size varies. Some are smaller than others, so be careful where you park. Establishment: The establishment itself is very clean, neat, organized, and tidy. I highly recommend booking an appointment online and submitting your insurance stuff online. Then check in via the tablets in the waiting area or via your cellphone. With only 10 minutes left to the day, staff stated that there were still two appointments they were waiting on and wouldn't take us, even though those people were not present. Since COVID, Quest has used this online appointment system which makes things so difficult for multiple patients and seems inefficient to the actual work of getting blood tests done during the work window. Then they call your name to go in for your blood to be drawn. Start to finish, I was there for exactly 2 hours. They were organized in the way they handled the huge amount of people. They had 2 nurses inside taking blood. One nurse handling the intake. And another doing Misc organizing/managing. I have gone here in the afternoon once before and it was very quick and everything was done inside the clinic. I just think Saturday mornings are just extremely busy for them. Having appointments would be helpful, but they do things smoothly for the amount of people they're seeing in a day.

Other than that, the whole process was smooth and easy, and my results came back within a day. I really appreciate that you can check your results online and that they provide clear explanations for each value with a color-coded sliding scale--it makes everything very easy to understand. Overall, this location is so much better than the one in Alhambra, which was always a mess. From now on, I'll definitely be coming here instead.

My time came up to go in and I let the girl who first called me in know, and she said that after checking it hadn't come in; she'd keep checking and be sure to call me in when it did. Between getting forgotten and having to ask multiple people to check, it took almost 50 minutes for them to get me in, with my appointment happening happening about an hour later. It would've been faster for me to drive back home, get my order, and drive back... I've never had it take this long at a Quest where I've had to fax before. Staff explained bc it's all electronic to their computer system, their fax orders come in slower? On me to remember my paper orders but on a company to run efficiently. I came on a Friday around 11am. There was no one at the front desk. I was hoping for a quick in and out but I waited for about 15 minutes before anyone came to check in the guy in front of me. Not sure what happened with staffing but it looked like there was only 1 guy working that day. I feel sorry for him but it's unacceptable to have a patient wait so long just to check in. I like how the MRI techs walk you through what you'll experience before the exam starts. They also have a changing room / locker room for you to change and leave your stuff in. They have a nice mini waiting room inside with a bathroom and water dispenser once you exit the main waiting room. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum, but they charge 3% if you use your credit card.
